Michael (8/5): Everyone hung out at my place - I initially tried to book a room at the hotel hosting our annual convention but it was filled, so I booked a room at Gulfview Condos. My room was so much like living at my own place. So much that friends I met at the convention wanting to hang out at my place after each day of meetings. Their hotel rooms were too small and did not have enough seating for everyone to relax and talk. I'll choose Gulfview again if ever in South Padre Island.
