- Linda (7/5): Have stayed there before because of its convenience to other amenities in town. They were very obliging when we asked to - Well positioned in centre of town, a short walk to shopping area and pubs. The property is quite a few years old and could probably do with an update. Gardens could do with a makeover. Not a reflection in the motel but guests out in the car park very early talking in loud voices while others trying to sleep were very annoying. Also cars that have alarms beep when they unlock or lock doors very disturbing.

- Trudy (7/5): - It was comfortable. Everything is out dated, the shower was hard to regulate, it was either too hot or too cold, there was no in between. Being unfamiliar with the area, it would have been nice to have access to up to date menus from local eateries, one place we rang was closed because of a function. Another place had a different menu to what we had access to. There is no phone to communicate with reception.

- John (8/5): Stay with secure confidence. - The staff were very nice. The room was clean with everything you need. Its walking distance into town. The shower head needs help, sprayed water everywhere. I could feel the springs in the old bed mattress. I couldn't find a keycard drop box for early departures. The tv remote needs new batteries ;) The parking on one side of the property is not suited to large vehicles.

To be honest I think the hosts are getting on a bit in age & it’s too much work to maintain the property. The outdoor furniture outside the units could do with a wipe at least once a week to keep them clean & cobweb clean they are a bit crappy & not inspiring to sit on, weeds growing in the carpark area. I think it’s overpriced for the condition it’s in & where it is Myrtleford is not a popular destination I expected better for the price.

Booked two bedroom apartment. Wasn’t two bedroom one bed was in living area and then one big bedroom with three beds in it. No real cooking facilities. Would not stay there again

- Sharon (5/5): Very uncomfortable I had to prop bed up with towels. The mattress is so an ancient. - Vic wasn’t not very happy about my late checkin! When I arrived he asked what time I booked it! I cruise a lot so I use my card to get in, but, I didn’t realise you had to have your card with you to get back in on a cruise ship. We could always get back in as long as you didn’t lock the door from the inside and he argued the point with me on that one and luckily a young man staying in another room found there was a back door and he opened the door for me and let me in and when I said that to Vic on my checkout he said no he shouldn’t have been able to get in. I said the door wasn’t locked from the inside and I pointed out to him also that there was a couple of stains on the curtain and I put a bobby pin on it because you didn’t see it unless you had the blind down and he didn’t like me telling in that either I will not recommend this place to anyone else and I will never stay there again.
- Selina (9/5): Comfortable, clean, good value. - Myrtleford was a great base for us to explore the region: Bright, Beechworth, Yackandandah, Mt Beauty. Vic and his son Goran were friendly and accommodating hosts. The room was very clean, and beds were re-made and fresh towels provided every day. The pool was great for an afternoon swim on returning from our adventures. We made use of the well appointed bbq area which had undercover tables and chairs, a bbq hot plate, sink, pizza oven, and induction hotplate (another guest had his saucepan and was cooking noodles). The wifi was erratic at first.

Bed was too soft - felt like we sunk in, very slow wifi, shower head needed repairs, hot and cold taps were mislabeled, no powerpoints in second room.
