• Alexander (4/5): - Ohne Das tolle Personal wäre dies Unterkunft einfach nur zum vergessen. Hier Stimmt Preis - Leistung überhaupt Nicht !!! Europäische Preise mit nahezu null Komfort. Beginnend bei den Zahllose Stufen die schief, rutschig und aus holz sind, aus denen rostige Nägel ragen. der Private Pool ist schmutzig und die Filteranlagen sind veraltet. Die Holzhütten sind so instabil gebaut dass bei jedem Schritt die ganze Hütte wackelt und noch dazu so gebaut das große spalten überall das eindringen sämtlicher Tier möglich macht, warum man auch unendliche Moskitos, Tausendfüssler und Kakerlaken im Zimmer hat. Die Bettlaken werden nicht getausch sonder nur gewendet, die Duschamartur ist dick mit Kalk ummantelt, es gibt so gut wie keinen Wasserdruck und auch warmes Wasser ist hier so gut wie nicht vorhanden. DAS ESSEN UND DAS TEAM IST TOLL !!

Adding to the charm was a complimentary tuk-tuk ride that whisked me further up into the neighborhood, showcasing the resort’s unique local approach right from the start. The entrance, demure yet inviting, immediately set the mood. A warm welcome from a delightful couple made me feel truly at home. I was effortlessly ushered through the check-in process by the ever-efficient Ms. Aum, who swiftly snapped a copy of my passport. Before I knew it, Mr. Ton, the ever-attentive concierge, was already waiting with my carry-on bags, ensuring that every need was anticipated and met. Strolling down through lush greens, I arrived at pool villa 6—a space that epitomizes rustic chic. Every little detail was meticulously curated, reflecting a harmonious blend of tropical elegance and simplicity. This enchanting villa served as the perfect backdrop for my “White Lotus”-inspired birthday getaway. Villa 6 aptly named “Jumpa” (Malay for “See You”), the villa felt like a heartfelt invitation to return, encapsulating the true spirit of serendipity.

• Marte Krekling (6/5): Bungalow- holder med en natt. Autentisk opplevelse - Ingen aircondition, som vi visste. Det var veldig varmt selv med vifte. Madrassen hadde bedbugs. De som jobbet dere var hyggelige og svarte gjerne på spørsmål. Om man vil ha en autentisk opplevelse funker det. Men det holdt med en natt.
• Kim (10/5): Super dejligt ophold - Vi havde 5 dages lækkert ophold i værelse med pool. hele personalet er meget venlige og hjælpsomme. God morgenmad serveret på værelset. God restaurant med rimelige priser. Alt i alt en super god oplevelse som vi godt kan anbefale.
• asa (8/5): Good but very expensive for quality offered - Its a lovely hotel in a wonderful.location,however given the price i paid over £600 per night for their top 2 bed villa i feel the condition and facilities of the room needs to be much improved. There is luxury rustic and rustic and this falls between the 2 and doesnt offer vfm in my opinion. I didnt like the forced breakfast in the room option. 1 of the highlights for me of luxury hotel dwelling in the Far East is a fantastic breakfast buffet. Regretably this offering had much to be desired. Also there is no swimming pool save the small plunge pool in our room and no sun loungers on the tiny beach area. Having said that we enjoyed our stay, the service is excellent, the onsite restaurant very good( just offer breakfast there!)

• Lo Phong La (6/5): Not the Best Value - Initially, I made the error of booking a room without A/C. I thought I would be okay with the fan and open windows, since the temperatures at night on the beach is usually in 70s. I've slept comfortably at other beach bungalows that were much less expensive with no issues. However, the windows in the room here DO NOT have screens, and there is a sign that says to keep the windows locked at all times, even while in the room, because of theft. This creates a terrible sleep environment. It was too hot, stuffy, and too many mosquitos. I was able to upgrade to a room with window locks and AC, but I had to pay a rather high upcharge. While this made the stay much more comfortable, overall I'd pass on this resort next time I am in Loh Lipe. I'd opt to just pay slightly more for a true luxury experience. Breakfast was excellent, the beach and location is unreal and the staff are very nice. The only issue is the theft, lack of screens and issues with the windows. If that somehow got fixed this place would still be overpriced but better. 5/10.
• Laura (8/5): - Absolutely loved this place. However, I missed not having any sun loungers on the beach to relax. The stairs were quite hard work to walk up as our room was right at the top. But the staff and the view was still worth it. We especially loved having breakfast brought to our room in the mornings.

• Eric (8/5): Värt pengarna! - Utöver att detta bara fanns fläkt och ingen ac (vilket vi redan visste) så tycker jag att det var ett väldigt bra boende i förhållande till priset!! Nära till stranden och stora sällskapsytor med gratis vattenpåfyllning. Men räkna med att du vaknar upp helt svettig, men å andra sidan kan du skölja av dig snabbt under öppen himmel i din privata dusch!
• Mirela (6/5): - Leider habe ich beim buchen nicht darauf geachtet das nur ein Ventilator vorhanden ist. Für ein Bungalow mit Klima in der selben Reihe sollte ich 500€ mehr zahlen. Viel zu viel. Kein Fön , keine strandtücher und keine Ablage für die Kleidung. Dann wurde vor Einbrüchen gewarnt, ich bin nach einer Nacht ins andere Hotel. Anbindung an die Walking street nur mit Taxi. Für allein Reisende wie mich leider nicht schön. Die direkte Lage am Strand war super. Das Personal an der Bar war nicht wirklich freundlich. Erst kam das Essen und gefühlt eine halbe stunde später dann mein bestelltes Getränk.

Likte rommet veldig godt og balkongen. Eneste minuset totalt sett er at badene har åpne tak og gulv så det kommer inn kakkelakker og mygg.

Das Personal bei der Ankunft war sehr nett auch das Bar Personal war sehr freundlich. Allerdings schien Personal beim Frühstück sehr unmotiviert zu sein, auch die Wartezeiten waren sehr lange (30-40min für ein Rührei bsp)

• MASSIMILIANO (10/5): - Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente, colazione varia e abbondante (bevande e frutta free refill), si trova secondo me sul punto più carino dell'isola, spiaggia con ombra di bellissimi alberi. Due bottigliette d'acqua ogni giorno. Suggerirei solo zanzariere alle finestre (oltre a quelle già sul letto) visto il gran caldo e le zanzare.
• Nicole (8/5): - The bamboo huts, common area and restaurant were really nice. It was clean, close to the beach and the food was good. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. A really nice option if you want to stay on sunrise beach.
• Andrew (10/5): - This is it! Your search is over! This is the best hotel on the island. Book it early, because we met people who tried to book it four months in advance and couldn’t get a room. Even though there are some more expensive hotels on the island, they don’t compare to this one. This hotel has exceptional privacy where you can’t see your neighbor. All you see is the sea and lush greenery. The rooms are stunning with natural wood everywhere. The staff are incredible and will take care of you from pickup to drop off (just let them know your boat and its arrival and departure times in advance). This is comparable or even better than my experiences in over water bungalows and beachfront bungalows in French Polynesia, Maldives, and Fiji. World-class snorkeling in your backyard (and I recommend booking the snorkel tour which is fantastic). And ultimately, retiring back to an architecturally stunning masterpiece with beautiful touches (flowers as faucet valves, doors with wooden locks). The plunge pools are very well maintained unlike most resorts where I usually avoid them, here I used the plunge pool every day. Honestly this hotel is better than most five-star hotels as it has character, privacy, architectural interest, beautiful breakfasts, and a fantastic location (all the other hotels are crammed next door to one another and their patrons are all crowded on the beach…not fun). Tip: snorkeling is best just north of the large rock island in front of the hotel).

• Jyri (8/5): Beautiful but wild nature - Place was beautiful. Our shower included small lizard visitors during the night also cockroach. But I cant blame the resort because it was in the middle nature. Beach is close and staff is really kind. Beach have a lot of jelly fishes also but its cool to dive there if you are careful
• Akiko (10/5): 部屋からの眺めよし、海は目の前！！ - 3泊しましたが、お部屋でゆっくり、まったりと過ごしました。部屋からも海が見えます！眺望抜群です。 ホテル前がビーチなので、海で疲れたなーと思っても、すぐに部屋に戻れます。 難点は、傾斜にホテルがあるため、すべて階段移動です。 そのため、眺めがいいってことなんですけどね、若干息切れしました。

• Verified traveler (4/5): Pay extra go elsewhere. - Was expecting basic and it was very basic. Loads of mosquitoes - take lots of repellent. Had a few visitors (cocktoaches) which we were expecting from previous reviews - it was a bamboo hut in the jungle afterall - it meant we never fully relaxed. Mosquito nets did their jobs at night and fans worked. Hut was very dark and one of the sets if lights didnt work. Bedding didnt feel particularly clean -bottom sheet had rips in. Breakfast at resort was a pricey option of toast or cereal with yoghurt. Sunrise Beach was beautiful and resort next door was lovely for breakfast / lunch. Could snorkell off the beach
• Stephanie (10/5): - Such an amazing place, cabins were amazing, staff was amazing. I have nothing but great things about this place. Breakfast was great, drinks and food at the elephant restaurant was amazing as well. Definitely book here, you won't regret it. If you want to be by the walking street, its not for you. You have to walk the beach down for about 5 min then cross the resort down an ally to the strip. It was perfect for me, but took a second to find the way.
• Andrea (8/5): Bamboo Bungis in unmittelbarer Strandnähe - Wir hatten den Family Bungalow mit 2 großen Betten , viel Platz, mehrere Ventilatoren, große Terrasse mit Hängematte, Bad war halboffen so dass man unter freiem Himmel duschen konnte, Wasserdruck okay, warmes Wasser zum Duschen, es gab einen Gemeinschafts Sitzbereich der sehr gemütlich war, Trinkwasser aus dem Spender kostenlos, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, nur wenige Meter zum Strand, alles in allem eine super Unterkunft

• Lucia (6/5): - we booked accommodation for 3 nights because it was the cheapest on the island. unfortunately, it is located quite far from the events in the city. there are really a LOT of mosquitoes 1 cm in size, if not bigger. The resort is located near a construction site and a gypsy village, which is not pleasant to walk through at night.

The hotel is clean but is surrounding is an open bin The service at the hotel is good, but the staff that do not now much English. They really should get free lesson from the hotel ownership and course in food and beverage.

• Robert (6/5): Problems sorted to total satisfaction - Booked a room with air con (according to Hotels.com website, given a room with a fan which resulted in a sleepless night. Messaged Hotels.com the next day which was frustrating due to broken signals, but they refunded me immediately. Paid £40 to upgrade into a fantastic room. Checked out 4 days early.

• Erik (2/5): - So etwas schlechtes haben wir in Thailand noch nie erlebt. Wir haben einen Beach Bungalow mit Frühstück gebucht. Check-In war der Witz, keine Einweisung in den Bungalow, auf Nachfrage haben wir dann erfahren das der Bungalow erst nach Abgabe des Schlüssels, am Check-In Schalter, gereinigt wird. Zweimal haben wir es in 8 Tagen in Anspruch genommen. Beim Ersten Mal wurde etwas lieblos mit dem Besen durch den Bungalow gefegt, ging auch nicht besser wenn man in einer Hand n Handy hält und Nachrichten schreibt. Beim Bett wurde einfach nur die Decke komplett übergeschmissen. Damit war Sie durch. Grottenschlecht! Beim 2. Mal hat man uns nur den Schlüssel auf die Terrasse gelegt und gesagt, man komme gleich um zu reinigen. Es kam natürlich niemand. Das Frühstückspersonal war so dermaßen unfreundlich, in einem anderen Land hätte ich den Kellner sofort angesprochen, in Thailand werde ich die Thais nicht bloßstellen. Ein Feedback gibt es dann hiermit. Preis Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht. 145€ die Nacht zusätzlich Steuern sind Wucher. Liegt wahrscheinlich an der Lage des Resorts. Dieses Resort werde ich niemandem weiterempfehlen.

• Robert Bugge (8/5): Fint sted med hyggelig restaurant - Der er et fint sted, dog er der en del støj fra de mange longtails både, men sådan er det mange steder på Koh Lipe. Vi var uheldige at ankomme samme dag hvor den pram som kommer hver måned for at hente skrald var der. Så det lugtede desværre og vi valgte at flytte efter en nat

No room to put any clothes, a very small light in the bathroom and the shower above the toilet. Altough the view is great and the breakfast is lovely. But only go here if you want a really basic room

• Verified traveler (8/5): Lindo. Pero debe mejorar servicio y comodidad - El hotel esta sobre la playa Sunrise. En temporada alta se llega a la isla por la playa Pattaya que esta del otro lado. Recomiendo avisar con tiempo al hotel para que los busquen, yo no recibi respuesta y tomamos un "taxi". Elegimos la cabaña que da frente al mar. Es simple, cama, aire y un deck con mesita (habia otras con hamaca pero nos dijeron que no era nuestra tarifa) El baño le falta luz. Porque de noche se complica ir al baño. Y deben asegurar mejor el calefon electrico porque el caño tenia cierta corriente (aunque te podes bañar con agua fria pero bueno, es un tema de seguridad). Se desayuna en el bar /restaurante que tienen y solo podes elegir un plato de una lista mas cafe y jugo. La verdad es que lo lindo es que esta en la playa. Pero por el costo... Los servicios y comodidades son limitados. Es costo por tener la vista y acceso directo a la playa. Creo que deberian mejorar los servicios, algun diferencial.

The beach villas look superbe. The beach can be busy during the day as the taxi boats are crusing the whole day. koh Lipe is still a very nuce island to rest. Can fully recommend. A big ask is to refrain from plastic bottles and other plastics. Also water / sewage eaning should be installed to protect this little island!

• K (8/5): - No pick up from the port available which is fine as there’s taxis there but this wasn’t communicated and we were the only ones with no hotel pick up waiting. The rooms are basic but clean, the view is incredible and the beach is perfect!! The breakfast was good, you can select off of a menu rather than the typical buffet which made a nice change
• Helen (10/5): - Beautiful cliff top villas on Sunrise Beach. Ours was secluded and at the top. Front is glass giving you a morning view of the sunrise from bed. The water is crystal clear and snorkeling equipment is on site. It feels like swimming in an aquarium and I visit Australia frequently. The restaurant is very good with a huge morning breakfast served in your room. We enjoyed our private plunge pool and stunning views from the veranda. I walked all three beaches and did not see a property as stunning!
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Lipe is an island that’s worth the visit and Lipe Beach Resort has villas with sea view. They have a beautiful hotel but the drawbacks are the plastic amenities on the bathroom, it is heated with electricity but it’s ok (I believe you won’t get an electric shock) and the breakfast is limited and with vouchers. Basically they give you a voucher for breakfast but just for one item. You can eat an omelette, there’s coffee and juices included (they are packed and not fresh fruit, so it needs a change). If you wish to eat anything else, you must pay extra and they only take cash at check-out. Lipe is still one of the most virgin places in Thailand, so it is worth the visit and Lipe Beach Resort is a good place to stay. It’s quite a walk to the Main Street but the surroundings have 2 other resorts and a beach bar perfect for the sunset.

• Michael (8/5): Sun Soak Paradise. - Great spot for relaxing, plenty of shade , light music from the bar . Need to take a towel or ground cover , some day beds . Beach side easy access , good swimming . Budget rooms small no airconditioning no hot water . Still quiet ok . You can get upgrades to more stylishly accomodation. Easy walk into town or get a motorcycle taxi ,cheap . Staff will arrange taxi bike back to ferry terminal . Overall we enjoyed our stay for 4 nights .
• Uschi (8/5): - Das Resort liegt am m.E. schönsten Strandabschnitt der Insel ziemlich am oberen Ende des dort relativ breiten Sunset Beach mit schattenspendenden Bäumen/Palmen. Zahlreiche in mehreren Reihen einzeln stehende Holzbungalows z.T. mit Aircon und Moskitonetz, Kühlschrank, Safe und Terrasse. Zimmereinigung auf Wunsch täglich. Frühstück (bis 11 Uhr) kann umfangreich aus der Karte bestellt werden, Kaffee aus dem Automaten gut! Nette Bar/Resto am Strand mit Sun/Beds. Personal sehr nett und bemüht. Überraschenderweise sprechen viele der jungen Bedienungen kein/kaum Englisch! Leider gibt es nur einige wenige Liegen, die ausschließlich für die Bewohner der vorderen Meerblickbungalows (zum aktuellen Resisezeitpunkt 1/20 um die 230 Euro!!!) bestimmt (und oftmals unbesetzt) waren! Alle anderen Gäste müssen sich mit einem (eigenen) Tuch in den Sand legen! Bei einem Bungalowpreis von ca. 120 Euro m.E. eine Zumutung! In Laufentfernung viele Restaurants und Bars am Strand, zur Walking Street (ab ca. 18 Uhr fängt das Nachtleben richtig an) im Inselinneren ca. 10 Minuten (Taschenlampe für den Rückweg mitnehmen). Im Resort selber an der Bar ab ca. 20 Uhr „tote Hose“.

Price for night high .Hotelrestaurant on the beach served delicious Thai cuisine, we have not met with quality on our trip through Thailand for the rest of the stay. Only a few for the villa in the first row by the water and a few for the bar. Overall great place and good location. One bad experience was we were asked to leave after spending 3 nights and asking to extend to 4. We were told by the front desk girl everything was fine for the 4th night however at check out time on the 3rd day we were asked to leave rather abruptly.

The food was excellent. I enjoyed my room very much. The air conditioner worked great as well and the view of the ocean was stunning. I do wish they had more towels in the room for shower. I hope to return to this hotel again in the future. It was a good property.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The view from the rooms is spectacular and the property has amazing views. The food at lunch and Dinner were ok but the views from the restaurant made the experience. Breakfast was a very poor standard. One of the worst I have experienced in any hotel in terms of quality and choice and we left it all and had to go somewhere else. Even on a small island the property is very remote and if the weather is bad you can feel trapped. The rooms need updating as few very old fashioned particularly the bathroom and they were full of mosquitoes. We decided to stay in koh Lipe an extra night but moved Hotels to somewhere on walking street. This was half the price but much cleaner, comfortable and much more enjoyable. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay at serendipity if they are going to Koh Lipe but I would go for a drink/lunch.

Vi havde booket tre nætter og i starten var vi ikke vilde med at bo sådan, men oplevelserne vandt ind på os og vi endte med at kunne lide det. Der er ikke toiletpapir eller håndsæbe, det skal du selv sørge for. Sengene er meget hårde.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Privacy is the key here. Each villa is private from others. We had our own private pool. Be prepared for steps as it’s on a mountain, but breakfast is brought up to the room each morning and the room service was excellent.

• Faz (8/5): - The chalet is good. Simple and nice. Bed is comfortable. Fridge and shower heater is provided. However the shower heater has mild electricity leakage which I feel is dangerous. Location:  Very near the beach. Clean area and peaceful. Breakfast selections are limited as my family prefers Halal food. But its OK, at least we have options. Just that walking street is not very near, and we have to take taxi which takes us through a super bumpy muddy road crossing the local village. It costs 50baht per trip per person. Laundry service:  My sister's family had a misunderstanding that the service is free (probably communication breakdown due to language barrier with the short hair reception lady). So both of us sent in our laundry and we weren't even told of the price breakdown when we sent in the laundry. The worst part is the laundry was not even fully dry when we received them back! It's damp and will smell as we need to travel back, which then requires us to rewash them all over again. This is horrible experience. I'm very disappointed with this. Hope you will look into this and provide a better service to your customers. Thank you.

Spiaggia larga , poca gente, sembra quasi di essere alle Maldive, passatemi il concetto I boungalow sono piccolini ma deliziosi e se hai la fortuna di essere in prima fila..boom hai fatto centro. Il baretto /Ristoranre a disposizione è ben fornito e con prezzi economici e il personale sempre disponibile ad accontentarti Insomma sull’isola secondo me non c’è niente di meglio!! Vi sov ikke før kl 3 om natten, fordi der var så varmt indenfor. Vi kunne få en bungalow med bedre ventilation, hvis vi ville betale dobbelt pris. Det synes jeg måske ikke er helt rimeligt.

• Susanne (8/5): Koh Lipe Beach Resort - Väldigt bra läge på Sunrise Beach. Trevlig personal. Bungalow är enkla men mysiga, några med ac( kan rekommenderas) till beachfront ( first row) bungalows hör solstolar vilket är väldigt bekvämt. Frukosten är helt ok. Middagar åt vi på andra restauranger längs stranden. Vill man gå in till Walking Street för fler restauranger och shopping är det ca 10 min promenad. Skulle definitivt åka tillbaka till samma ställe.

• Andrea (6/5): - Las cabañas son preciosas, perfectas si estuvieran en otra ubicación. Les falta algo para sentarte dentro al cambiarte y perchas. Mucho ruido del poblado gitano y lo tienes que atravesar todo para llegar a los tenderetes y calle principal. No tenían teléfono de contacto ni mail en la ficha de expedia y cuando llegamos, no había nadie para recibirnos (check-in). Wifi no funciona (te dicen que había problema el día de antes pero de los 3 días no funcionó ni uno solo) La playa, con muchísimos barcos, mar muy movido y pocas sombras. El servicio de bar/restaurante lentísimo, un día me dejaron sin comer porque después de esperar una hora y pico, resulta que no habían pasado nota a cocina de mi pedido, eso si, cocinan bien, aunque la camarera no se entera (no sabe inglés aunque dicen hablar inglés, español, francés y tailandés). No creo que sea buena zona para estar... o te pones tapones para dormir y te mueves en tuc-tuc, o mal.

We were being billed for coffee/tea at breakfast (they suppose we should use the coffee machine which was broken and the tea pot in the room but nobody mentioned it at checkout. The snorkels and life jackets are stored at the restaurant which means every time you want to borrow them you have to climb up and down the stairs several times to get them and some of them are broken or you run out of the size. There were some eaten and rotten fruit found in the pool inside the villa. Overall it was a nice stay mainly for the view but for the price we paid there are much beautiful and well maintained hotels we have stayed before in Thailand with equally beautiful views.

The service leaves some space for improvement especially for the price of the hotel. Best location to stay when being at Koh Lipe and all Koh Lipe is very expensive so this is probably what you can expect for the money. Breakfast OK. This room had warm water in the shower which was great.
• Verified traveler (8/5): The couple - This resort has a realt good location with a short walk to the nicest part of the island, the north peak. Only vild water showers in the first room but hot in the second we had last nights.. Be aware what you book. Would recommend the hotel to friends. Breakfast ordinary, you stay here for the location which is excellent. 15 minuters walk to main street. Bring a torvh. Area cleaned every day but as someone mentioned, the entrance area looks like crap. Not oblygt hotel here though. Koh Lipe is quite dirty. You come here for wonderful wonderful snorkelling. Nice reefs just by the beach and worthy longtail trips to wonderful snorkeling places.
