- Verified traveler (4/5): Clean but unethical Lodge. - Had a bad Checkin experience, feel like they ambushed us by taking advantage of the busy period they were threatening to cancel our reservation and leave us stranded on the street. I find it so unethical to require USD $100 a night for an additional person yet the original booking was $56 a night for the same room.

Wenig geeignet für Europäer.Preis Leistung passt nicht.

I had arranged for an overnight trip from Katima Mulilo to Victoria Falls and part of the deal was I had to purchase accommodations for the driver. However, I did check in with my driver and, the next day, asked him about his stay. This is a quaint family-run operation. Very clean and hospitable. When we checked in they wanted to know what my driver wanted for breakfast and when he wanted it served--a nice touch. My driver said that the bed was comfortable and his overnight night stay relaxing. In sum, this was a nice place for the money.

They were happy to accommodate us even with arranging taxis and were helpful after we checked out. The price was good. The location is a 30 minute walk or a $5 taxi ride away from town. We were very happy with our experience here!

- vic fallsfan (6/5): Budget hotel - The staff were very helpful and welcoming and allowed me to change into dry clothes even after check out time but the state of the bathroom let it down as the taps were loose and there were holes in the walls Ok only for a cheap short stay
- Frode (6/5): Enkelt hotell et stykke fra sentrum - Måtte bruke taxi til sentrum og alle aktiviteter, bortsett fra når de som arrangerte aktiviteten hentet meg på hotellet. Rommet var noe slitt og spesielt badet kunne trengt oppussing. Helt ok frokost og generelt ok service av personalet.

- Michael (2/5): Disappointing - Very disappointing. I had booked to have a more upmarket night, but should have booked at the Vic Falls backpackers for the two nights. We had booked and yet had no water at first, had to have it turned on. Reception staff was very pleasant .view from room was appalling .Breakfast was pretty good,but needed toast with our cooked meal.

- Douglas (2/5): They are Crooks! - I had to cancel and they refused any refund, even though website says they would! Crooks. I'd booked 2 nights. Was so excited to see Victoria Falls for the weekend. Kenya Air flight delays got me 7 hours late to Joburg, so I missed my next flight on Air Zimbabwe to VFA, and their next flight was 2 days later. No way to get to Victoria Falls. I immediately called Hotels.com (Expedia) to cancel both nights. They called the hotel and even they were shocked the hotel wouldn't refund even 50% for the 2nd night. I missed the Victoria Falls trip and this hotel also steals from me. Douglas, USA.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet, helpful, friendly - The guesthouse is in a mostly residential, quiet neighborhood. It is a 25 minute walk to town. The dinner I had was very good. Breakfast is also very good with plenty of food. It's one of the better breakfasts I've had. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

- Torsten (6/5): Einfache Unterkunft - Die Lodge ist doch ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Bäder sind sehr alt. Frühstück war sehr einfach. Der Inhaber ist sehr hilfsbereit.
- Mark (8/5): Quiet and clean - Great service from very welcoming staff, who are happy to help and answer questions. The rooms are functional and clean. The breakfast that is included will keep you going most of the day. The location is a little way out of the main centre of Victoria Falls, but if you are energetic and don't mind walking it is within a 30 - 45 minute walk. All of the tour companies I dealt with are familiar with the Lodge and its location. Early in the morning (before the helicopter tours start), you can hear the falls.

- Martin (4/5): Sehr einfache 2*-Lodge - Diese Lodge ist bestenfalls "Zweisternig", hat zwar Charme, ist aber relativ alt und sehr einfach. Keine Klimaanlage, kein Safe, warmes Wasser nicht immer vorhanden. Die Lage auf der Karte war zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung in der Stadtmitte angegeben. Dies ist Falsch, die Lodge liegt ziemlich ausserhalb in einem Wohnquartier. Taxis je Weg 7USD

- HISAO (8/5): 自然に囲まれた静かな宿です - ビクトリアフォールズの市内中心部から歩くと30分くらい。ジンバブエの人たちは親切なので、歩いていると車が声をかけてくれタダで乗せてくれます。 ホテルの回りは静かな住宅地と森林だけで、環境はいいところだと思います。朝食は庭でベーコンエッグとコーヒーを毎日のんびりといただきました。 ホテルのオヤジさんはすごく親切で、カサネ(ボツワナ)への国境まで安い白タクを手配してくれました。 ただし、場所が場所だけに蚊や蠅、蟻、ゴキブリなどと共存する覚悟で宿泊する必要があります。
- Verified traveler (8/5): Off town centre nice little hotel - The owner family lives on the property. A makeover would be recommended but nevertheless clean! Breakfast is served open area and excellent continental plus full english! No aircon but fans are very powerful! Rooms have a fridge but no wardrobes. But for lower budgets which stay only two nights fully suitable! Staff is very encouraged to make your stay as comfortable as possible! Some rooms have shower some tubes! Depending your preferences! Night guard on duty! Need a taxi to reach town and falls. 3-6 USD per direction. Overall we had beautiful 3 days in Vic Falls! And have once supper here! The Chef is excellent! Prebook in the morning!
- ＭＡＳＡＦＵＭＩ (6/5): 安いことは魅力だが… - 観光地であるため周りの宿泊施設の値段が高い中、安く抑えているところは魅力的だがそれでもエアコンは欲しい。むしろバスタブよりも必要だと思う。また窓に網戸がないので、暑さのため窓を開けていると虫が入ってきてしまい、蚊帳の中でずっと過ごすことになってしまう。
- Takeshi (8/5): Very kind and friendly staff - The owner of the hotel was very kind and helpful. He would give you a lot of useful tips and arrange what you want. It was very helpful that he would arrange an airport shuttle for me, as it was surely much cheaper than the price I researched by myself. A beautiful woman would serve you an authentic breakfast as you like in the morning.
- stefano (8/5): Giusto prezzo per il posto in cui si trova - siamo stati accolti subito bene dal personale, disposti sempre ad aiutare e disponibili nel chiamare taxi, autisti o dare consigli ecc. hotel pulito con il minimo indispensabile per fare una coppia di notti, colazione buona e abbondante.
- Peter (4/5): B&B Guesthouse außerhalb der Stadt - Guesthouse außerhalb der Stadt Victoria Falls. Obwohl die Karte bei Expedia (und auch bei anderen Web Seiten) suggeriert, dass das Wild Trekkers direkt in VicFalls liegt, ist es de facto 2 Kilometer außerhalb in einem Wohn-vorort. Da zudem leider - anders als in der Hotelbeschreibung angegeben - KEIN Restaurantbetrieb im Wild Trekkers stattfindet (Begründung der Besitzers: man habe keine Vorräte angelegt da die Gäste sowieso in die Stadt zum essen fahren würden) bedeute dies, dass man auch bei Nacht in die Stadt fahren muß. Falls man Nachtfahren vermeiden möchte hat man dann ein Problem.

- Terry (8/5): Stay local! - Stay local with the benefit of it being quieter than the main town, and a lot less touristy. Its a $5 cab to town. Jonas and his team were really friendly and incredibly helpful. They helped organize a number of things that made my stay fantastic. The room was clean and well fitted out. Double bed with en suite bathroom. Full English breakfast really good. This is old-school charm and hospitality at its best.
- kumi (10/5): Quiet & Authentic - This place exceeded my expectations in every way. The owner came out to meet me and we talked several times during my stay (that I extended). The staff were friendly and even offered to handwash a couple items for me for a very cheap price. They cooked personal style meals, negotiated taxi prices on my behalf (I wish I would've know about this before I paid that high airport taxi getting there), explained that I do not need a guide for the Falls, spoke to me about the true history of Zimbabwe and told me the places I needed to see. I WILL be back to this place on my next Zim-trip!
- Jen (8/5): Mid price guest house in residential area - The guest house was clean and the beds & bed-linen of a nice quality. Rooms were a good size.The staff were most helpful and keen to please. The thing that let it down was the finishing of the wooden fittings and the bathroom tiling. The workmanship was poor so it just looked scruffy. They are doing a lot of building work at the moment so I hope that they will redo the wardrobes etc and the tiling and other tidy up work.
- Linda (4/5): Leaves much to be desired... - This was probably the worst B&B I've ever stayed at. First of, there was construction going on at the place, which the owner did not specify until I got there. The room was very rudimentary, no heating system (which you needed after dark as it was winter time in Zimbabwe). I ordered something from their menu and they told me that they didn't have the meat...? I went on my safari excursion, ate out for dinner; when I went back to the hotel they asked me when they should have breakfast ready for me. I told them and the next morning it wasn't ready on time and I literally had 5 mins before the tour guide came to pick me up. On top of that, I had to shower in cold water! I waited 20 mins for the water to warm up but it never did; one of the hosts later told me that the hot water tap was closed...? But why?? I'm so glad I was only there 1 night because the customer service was horrible.
- Jayne (10/5): Felt so at home - Wild Trekkers is a wonderful guesthouse, I had a spacious room with the most comfortable linens and lots of light, even a fridge. Bathroom was nice and shower warm. The owner was very gracious and generous with his time, be it getting a group of us to an early morning half marathon start or finding out all of the details for adventures and sights we want to partake in. Breakfast was hearty and served outside in a nice dining area. The guesthouse is in a nice quiet neighborhood and about 2k for town. I highly recommend this place. Its reasonable too.

- Mark (4/5): Need to update the rooms - The rooms were tired. The room facilities were second rate. For instance the toilet seat was chipped in a couple of places. The WiFi did not work in the room very well. Had to go outside where the then Manager (or Owner) hovered around like a busy body. I was not going outside just to avoid the Manager. He must have cameras because he appeared each and every time someone walked outside!
