The shower was the best I've ever experienced ! It was loud. People in the courtyard came in at all hours over the weekend (3/4 AM) yelling and waking us up. But even talking at normal volumes would wake you up. And I'm not a sensitive sleeper.

They clean and tidy the room everyday and also leave new sweet treats which were an amazing touch! The only negative was that it was very noisy at night. Closing the window didn’t make any difference.

- Robert (10/5): Stay here! Staff looks out for the guests. The property is great. - Beautiful property and beautiful room. The location was great. Size of the room and bathroom was luxurious. Staff were so helpful and kind. The value was incredible. I’d stay here again and again. I had an early arrival staff could not guarantee that my room would be ready ( which is fair) but offered to hold luggage if the room wasn’t ready. But, it clearly mattered to them because the room wasn’t ready ready. Nothing. Not a single complaint.

Immaculate, modern and comfortable room and bathroom, with beautifully tiled floors. Very quiet as within a pedestrian area of town. Also includes a truly excellent breakfast at Da Franco Trattoria, a 2 min walk from the hotel. Strongly recommend! Our ground-floor room had poor sound insulation, meaning you could hear people at reception and in the courtyard (overall still fairly quiet).

Ten na pierwszym piętrze był idealny. Przestronny, bardzo gustownie urządzony. Duża, wygodna łazienka. Pokój na poddaszu był mniejszy. W pokojach kawa, herbata, owoce i przekąski codziennie uzupełniane. Lokalizacja fantastyczna. Bardzo miły i pomocny personel. Jeśli już bardzo muszę coś znaleźć to do niektórych pokoi daleko się idzie, a im dalej się idzie pogarsza się standard.

O café da manhã é muito bom e completo, tudo fresco com um atendimento também muito bom, a Tainá foi muito querida conosco em todas as nossas manhãs. Recomendo muito!

All was - We ended up staying at their sister property which was lovely and so perfect in centre of lemon grove. We arrived a little late but hosts so welcoming flexible and friendly. All was perfect

- Oliver (2/5): Glad we only stayed for 2 nights. - The location was good - right in the centre of town but very difficult to get to if you have luggage. A lot. These are NOT luxury apartments. We were delayed getting into town and therefore we had to check-in late in the evening. Considering it's called "luxury apartments", it was very disappointing that they charge extra for a late check-in. The room was tiny compared to the expectations from the photos and not completely clean. There were cracks and broken tiles in the shower. Overall we were just glad to only have been there for 2 nights.

We lost power for a considerable amount of time which caused us to miss our dinner reservations. Once the power was restored we had no hot water to take showers. I was disappointed that the facility would not compensate us for our inconvenience .

All staff were so friendly and helpful (Rafaella is amazing). Breakfast is at a restaurant just around the corner with good choices, really tasty, and lovely staff. Would highly recommend. Everything was fabulous.

I think at first we were surprised that the room is grey since the photos showed it’s white and blue. But it was meaningless because it was still a very beautiful and very big room.

- Iris (8/5): Fabulous location and staff but bathroom amenities and linens need work. - Wonderful location convenient to everything! The room was a nice size and the bed very comfortable. The kitchenette area was nicely stocked with snacks and drinks. All of the restaurants along that street were fabulous and the free breakfast was great! The bathroom was very small, especially the shower. There was only one kind of soap - something in a pump bottle and it was not possible to turn it and see the label. Apparently that was supposed to be hand soap, shampoo and body wash. The towels were threadbare. This did not feel like a luxury place even though that was in the title. We spent time in Florence and Rome as well and this was the most expensive property we stayed at so that is the basis for my rating.

- Ranch (9/5): Misleading information about the parking. - The location is excellent. Breakfast was nice and the room was great. At booking web site it said that the hotel has a parking. It is misleading... We had to pay 108 Euro extra for a parking that is 600 Meters from the hotel...

She went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Not only did she accommodate us with great care and kindness, but she also personally assisted us with retrieving luggage that our airline had lost—something far beyond the usual responsibilities of a hotel manager. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel completely at ease and very well cared for. The property itself is charming, clean, and beautifully maintained, but what truly sets this boutique hotel apart is the outstanding service and hospitality provided by Raffaella. Thanks to her, our time in Sorrento was stress-free and unforgettable. We highly recommend Palazzo Gargiulo to anyone visiting Sorrento. If you are fortunate enough to meet Raffaella, you will experience the very best of Italian hospitality.

- Julie (10/5): - Palazzo Gargiulo is in the perfect location especially if you catch the Ferry over from Naples, there is a short walk to the lift and then a short walk to the accommodation. Raffaella at the front desk was amazing, she gave us all the information we needed for our stayed, helped us in every way and was so friendly. Absolutely loved our stay here, highly recommend it.

- Aine (4/5): Disappointing rooms. - Location. Very central. The room!!!! It really felt like a dungeon. High ceiling room where the tiny window was so high that you couldn't see anything but sky. We were really disappointed with the room as we were staying for 6 nights. Had we known there wasn't an outwards view of any kind we certainly would not have booked this for our stay.

- Daniela (8/5): Nice for short trip, was enough for 2 days. Different style of breakfast would be better. Some small renovation of showe - Property was nice and clean. We got fresh fruit daily (peach and apricot) and also coffee and cookies. The receptionist was a very kind person. They prepared us breakfast for the trip next day and even waited for us longer and didn’t charge late check-in, which was nice from them. :) The room needs renovation, especially the shower, where the silicone was not working and water leaked out even when showering carefully. There was also an unpleasant smell, likely from the air-conditioning. Breakfast was disappointing. It was served in another building, with only one cook and one waitress for the whole room of guests. We had planned trips and couldn’t wait long, but the service was very slow and the quality poor. We ordered yogurt with fruit and muesli, but received yogurt with bad muesli and no fruit. The only fruit offered was yellow melon 🍈, cut and shared among everyone.

- Meg (10/5): Great place to stay in Sorrento - The location of the hotel is perfect. The staff is very helpful, particularly with recommendations for tours, transportation, and restaurants. I would stay here again! My only complaint about this hotel is the breakfast situation. The hotel has an agreement with a restaurant to serve breakfast to its guests from 8–10 AM. The restaurant is close, but not right nearby. We stayed for 3 nights and did not make it to breakfast once. There are plenty of other places nearby, so it’s not a huge problem, but was a little inconvenient

- Una (9/5): The apartment is in an excellent location, it was very spacious and pretty. The staff were excellent - Breakfast was served at a local restaurant nearby, the food and service was excellent. Our bathroom didn’t have a window and to manage the moisture there was a dehumidifier that needed to be kept on. I found that there was a damp smell after a while. Overall the apartment was excellent, this was only a minor issue.
