I did not take advantage of the breakfast, but my wife did and she indicated that it was OK - typical hotel breakfast. The TV left a lot to be desired. When I finally found a channel guide, it did not correspond to the TV channels...go figure! Also, there was only one ice machine (that I could find) located on the first floor at the furthest end of the hallway - very inconvenient!

- AAHolt (8/5): Great Front Desk Staff - Front desk staff was very professional, pleasant, and friendly. Room 424 had been newly renovated so furnishings were in great shape. The room was clean and cool. There was a mini fridge (worked great) and a microwave. There were also plenty of outlets on the table between the beds. The bathroom featured a tub/shower combo. The floor of the tub/shower was EXTREMELY slippery and was even more so when there was soap on it; however, there was a grab bar on the shower wall to use for safety. There was no anti-slip mat. Water pressure was okay. The hotel featured a complimentary hot breakfast in the mornings and there was a small market near the front desk. The hotel also offered complimentary parking. They did bill me an additional two times for my room despite my having prepaid for my room. They corrected their errors soon after although it took several days for my credit card company to clear the credits through my credit card. The hotel was conveniently located off SPID between Staples and Airline.

- kmaitelc (2/5): Terrible experience – poor conditions and no management support - Very disappointing stay. The room had a very bad smell. The carpets were stained and there was a strong musty odor, like humidity. It made the room feel very dirty and uncomfortable. The bathroom door was broken, so there was no privacy when using the bathroom, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel room. What made the experience even worse was the manager’s attitude. Instead of helping or offering a solution, he showed very little interest in resolving the problem. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

- 74lorap (2/5): Worst Hampton Inn ever. - I have family in Corpus Christi and have stayed in hotels there off and on for the past 20+ years. This was absolutely the worst Hampton I’ve ever stayed in and worst hotel in CC I’ve stayed in. Frig didn’t work. Room phone didn’t work. The carpet and lamp shades were incredibly filthy. Front desk lady was apathetic and not helpful. Will never stay there again.

Our room had yet to be touched. I do not like carpet in a hotel and ours was old and stained. We could tell that chairs or trash cans had not been moved for vacuuming. Other than that our room was clean. Old style tub and shower was in our room. Drawers did not stay closed. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was typical hotel fare.

Despite the advertised 3:00 PM check-in time, our room was not ready until 4:00 PM. No prior notice was given, leaving us to aimlessly drive around for an hour after a long trip. This lack of communication and preparedness was both unprofessional and disappointing. Guests deserve timely updates and respect for their time—especially when plans are made around published check-in policies.

We had our trailer hitch stolen from our truck. When we talked with the hotel staff & manager, they were unconcerned. Said this happens all the time. Well, how about stop accepting it & up your security instead? The refrigerator didn't work in our room at all.

- Angela (6/5): - In a nutshell, the property is old and needs a facelift! We had a king suite with a sofa bed. The room is big and spacious but there’s a big desk right in the middle of the room which makes if feel closed off. The shower head did not work, the light in the bathroom area flickered like we were in a club, and the bathroom door didn’t open all the way because it got stuck. The staff was very nice and greeted us everytime we came back to the hotel. The breakfast is good, but they run out pretty quickly. They have breakfast from 6-10am. We got down there about 9:30 and they pretty much had run out of everything.

The A/C was very noisy, and I couldn’t sleep well either night. I reported it to the front desk, but no follow-up or solution was provided. Customer service could be improved, especially in communication and friendliness. Other than that, the hotel was quiet and peaceful.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Needs some upgrades but we enjoyed our stay. - This was our second time staying at this hotel while in corpus, we enjoyed it. Upon check in the lady did tell me that they are undergoing renovations soon. The room was pretty clean although the carpet was very dirty and the chairs in the room were covered in old stains. My toddler was walking in the room and the carpet quickly soiled his socks and feet. The a/c seemed to not be working in the hallways as well. Other than that I don’t have any complaints, I really enjoy the free parking and breakfast. I just wish the breakfast had a little more options.
- Gregory (8/5): In need of a makeover - Staff were very friendly. Beds were smaller than advertised. We paid for a double queen and instead both beds were full sized and sheets were barely big enough for some reason to make it to the edge. Carpet had stains all over it. Hot tub was hot but had no jets/bubbles. Not sure why pool can't be open till later when it is outside.Location is decent with several food restaurants within walking distance and easy to drive to several top tourists spots. Highlight was the breakfast.They have a great free breakfast with many options.

- Richard (1/5): Worst experience ever - The reservation said no credit card needed, pay at the hotel, we booked 2 rooms and they cancelled my reservations without so much as a phone call. I received an email at 5:30 on Friday evening telling me my reservation is cancelled. I was already heading out. We called the hotel and they stated Bookings policy is different from theirs and they require a card on file and since there wasn't one they cancelled our reservation. The hotel rep we spoke to was a very rude and disrespectful woman who then had the audacity to tell me and my wife that there's a motel 6 across the street we can stay at. Based on the reviews I have seen it looks like we dodged a bullet. I do not recommend staying at this disrespectful hotel in corpus Christi, there are so many better options, try the best Western on Corpus Christi beach.

- David (8/5): This is the place to stay compared to the rest - The property is clean from outside to inside. The rooms are professionally completed as all inside is touched and delivered clean. The a/c was at a perfect setting from arrival to the next day. The beds need to be replaced. We stayed here last year for a solid week from 6/16-6/22/2024 and the beds somewhat not the best. This time we stayed for here for two days and we felt the same bumps on the mattress. Hmmm! This needs to be looked at.
