Guest Reviews
- Sean (10/5): - Clean good place to stay!
- McCombie (4/5): Very disappointed. - We were completely disappointed that there were no dishes, glassware, silverware or cookware provided, after being told it was FULLY equipped. In addition there was NO place to sit and eat; no table & no chairs. The bathroom was dirty around the shower AND the hot water stunk so bad we couldn't use it. smelled like sewer water!
- Richard (6/5): - Lack of availability of recreational activities for grandchildren. Water smelled of rotten eggs. No extra towels available.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great getaway - The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and comfortable. My only concerns were that the water smelled bad as mentioned in other reviews and a door hinge needed to be repaired on one of the cabinets. We would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice shaded property. We stayed in a duplex and the beds were very uncomfortable. The listing stated they had wifi. We had to set up and pay for our own wifi, which took awhile and didnt work. They should just invest in the wifi themselves and tack it on to the rate. It was dissapointing.
- Jim (4/5): Dorm room vs cabin. - This was basically a small dorm room not a cabin as advertised. Clean by bare. No t.v. or radio. Really bad bed and small couch.
- Michaela (6/5): cute, but uncomfortable - Very cute cabin, but The beds were very uncomfortable And the water had a terrible smell to it.
- Sarah (10/5): - We had a great time camping here! The place we originally booked had plumbing issues so they upgraded us and gave us a call ahead of time to let us know! The woman at the front desk also made sure to stick around so we could buy some firewood before she left for the day and that was very nice. We stayed in the deluxe park model with a full
Kitchen, full bath and screened in porch that was perfect for morning coffee and cards at night ๐ There is trail access into Potawatomi State Park from the campground so we were able to hike right in. We will most definitely be back! Only thing we would have changed is the water smelled strongly of eggs but otherwise everything was great.
- William (2/5): Bad smell - Very strong sulfur smell from the water, Rotten egg stink is really nasty. No Wi-Fi as advertised. No overlooking the water as advertised. Will not return.
- tmfahey (8/5): - Stayed in the rented duplex with my husband and two children. It was very tight with all bags, etc. But it is a campground and it was better than a tent! It worked, as we were barely in the room. Cute place, lots of trees between units to give privacy. I own a lot at another campground in another state that has golf carts and this one doesnโt and it was nice to enjoy the silence and serenity. Pool was small, but clean and fun for the kids. The store has equipment to check out for all the other activities for the kids. All in all happy with our stay and definitely would come back.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very nice campground, we stayed in a yurt for the first time ever and it was good.
- Mari (8/5): Ok - A so-so place to stay it was a very small room the bathroom was extremely tiny and the toilet had a leak around the bottom of it it met our needs for the weekend however I don't think I would stay there again
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet and easy to find, close to town. - Close to highway, easy accea to restrauts, shopping and exploring the whole Door County area. Want to come back again another season of the year.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Rustic - Needs to have a thermostat on the room heat. Not just on or off. Also need to treat the shower water. Smells like rotten eggs
- christopher (10/5): close to the public restrooms - I thought that the campground was nice and big, relaxing and all around peacefull to sit outside at night having a fire. The public restrooms was nice but they could change the setup of the showers in there. It was and felt a little weird to me but it was duable. i would stay here again if we couldnt find anywhere else to stay. Its not that kid friendly as i would have hoped it to b.
- Senthil Kumar (8/5): - stay was great .
- Justin (8/5): - The location was great and the cabins were clean and spacious.
- Amanda (8/5): - Great place! Frustrating that the store was closed during our entire stay (Sun-Wed), but the place is great, the pool is nice and the yurts are very cute!
- Timothy (8/5): Great place to stay in Door County - Tranquil Timbers is a nice place to stay at a more reasonable rate that most places near door county. We stayed in one of their duplex cabins. It was small, yet sufficient for the amount of time we spent there. Great place for kids with a nice playground, pool and mini golf. The water from shower and sink have a strong sulfer smell. Our only complaint. The smell overtook the room after showering,
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The rooms are small. My biggest complaint would be when we went to take a shower the water smelled very badly of rotten eggs. When they were notified of this we were just told that they would flush the lines. It took quite sometime for the smell to get out of the room and not sure water safe to brush your teeth or wash your plates. Campground is kept up and clean. Nice play area for children.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - With the "cottage" being able to sleep 4, I thought it would be a full trailer, but it was half of a trailer. One room with a full size bed, sofa bed, chair, end table and kitchenette. Disappointed that there were no untensils even though they had a kitchenette...? Glad I thought to bring some along. Bath was extremely tiny. Standing water when I took a shower. But, even though the floor looked like it hadn't been washed, it was a great deal at $43/night. I was out all day sightseeing, so the price was right and the people seemed nice.
