Guest Reviews
- Dennis (5/5): - Location, Price No heat source. No Tv, No linens.
- Pamela (8/5): - End of season , pools closed, front desk great
Kitchen utensils , need upgrade, beds comfortable
- Norma (10/5): Would stay here again! - The resort had a ton of amenities for families. The park was quiet for sleeping. The staff worked with us as we had to leave early due to an injury. They even refunded our unused portion. I wish there was a bit more sitting and counter space in the basic unit BUT it is basic!
- Joshua (8/5): -
- Charles (10/5): -
- Casey (10/5): Wonderful get away while my oldest was visiting the college - A lot to entertain 10 year old son, great staff, beautiful location
- Mary (7/5): Enjoyed the time there.went for family gathering and the campground was as advertised - A lot of amenities and things to do all within the facility. Nothing
- Patricia (8/5): - Tried calling property several times to pay balance and I had some questions, but no one answered or returned a phone call. Office was closed at 5:30 upon our arrival but called the Ranger and he was very accommodating.
We brought our own linens because listening stated "no linens" were included. However, there were sheets, pillows, blankets and towels. This was a question I was going to ask.
The cabin was very nice, clean and had everything we needed. Campground had a lot of fun things to do. Very quiet at night.
Air conditioning was a nice perk. Right across from Road America which worked perfect for us. We would stay again.
- Renk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
- Philip (7/5): Super fun experience and I plan to return - The staff were excellent and all of the campers were friendly. The food at the dance hall was very good as well. Tons of activities and my kids had the time of their lives. My only complaints would be the lack of lifeguards, or any supervison at the pools. The shared bathroom/showers were also in poor condition and didn't look attended to. However, it's camping, and I didn't expect anything special in the way of restrooms. Great stay overall, going for the delux cabin next time!
- Charles (10/5): - Love this place. Will definitely be back.
- Janes (7/5): Next time I will get a cabin with running water (restroom and shower) - Very convenient to the race track so I could ride my bike Restroom/showers to far from my cabin
- Richard (8/5): Plymouth Rock RV Campground - It was a good location to the event that I was attending. Cabins were comfy. Bring your own bed sheets. Staff was great! The only thing I didn't like was when I went to the event during the day on Saturday I had left some firewood by my fire pit. Came back and all my wood was gone...
- Maria (10/5): - Great place to camp
- Carmen (8/5): Very good -
- Steve (7/5): Overall pleasantly pleased. - The beds weren’t that comfortable.
- Evan (1/5): There are 100% better options for staying in the Elkhart Lake area. - excellent location across from Road America, but not walking to distance to the town of Elkhart Lake. The cabin rental was rundown, outdated, extremely overpriced, and did not have a functioning shower.
I didn't stay the night...let alone the 4 nights planned.
- Smokie (10/5): Exceptional - love it.. friendly staff, loved the hot tub and the cabin was perfect
- Shane (7/5): Good -
- Jennifer (10/5): - Beautiful and well kept camping location.
- Simon (8/5): very good, will want to return for next year’s MotoAmerica - location and cleanliness WiFi didn’t work in room (staff was meant to call me) and there are no power sockets in the bedroom
- Mistine (9/5): Expensive but pretty - Beautiful spot Price was high for a bunk bed.
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (2/5): - While the cabin was small but adequate The mattresses on the beds were absolutely horrible. They were hard and lumpy and made getting a decent nights sleep almost impossible. I would not recommend these accommodations.
- Christy (10/5): - Great cabin - comfortable, clean, and fully stocked with household items we might need. The resort had a lot for our kids to do and be outside. We hiked to the lake, played on a playground, mini-golfed, and they even had arts and crafts. We will definitely be back and would recommend it.
- Heather (10/5): Cute Cabin - The cabin we stayed in was very clean and well appointed. We were comfortable, had privacy, and there were extra blankets and pillows. Interesting combination of camping, hotel, and tiny house experience. We loved it!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place for campers RV'S cabins pools you can have camp fires I was empressed with the hot water how long it last in the cabins and we had 3 adults
- Richard (8/5): Cute little cabin/trailer - It was cozy, quaint and comfortable
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staff in the front office were amazing to work with
- Hugh (8/5): - Had plenty of entertainment for all. Cleanliness was ok but we had to get own broom and rake to make cabin comfortanlw
- Katarzyna (6/5): Overall ok - Nice place but little out dated. Beds very uncomfortable
- robert (8/5): Great value--everything worked--very clean!! - Nice camp ground.
2 nice swimming pools
Live band Saturday night.
Great Managment!!
Will stay again!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I am not much of a talker so will only say we had a good time swimming, and boating and grilling.. I movie was not very good though as we could not hear it and it took a long time to finally get going..
- Verified traveler (6/5): Beautiful property - Price was good. Mattresses were not comfortable. You need to supply your own linen, seems a bit weird to me.
With all that said it was a good deal.
- Albert (8/5): Road America Race Weekend - I booked a small cabin at this resort to be close to the track. You can literally walk to it if you want to. This a family style resort with 3 pools, play fields and other things for kids to do. The is a dirt path that takes you down to Little Elkhart Lake where you can paddle boats, paddle boards and small boats. There is a general store, laundry facilities, shower/restrooms, large sitting room with a library and a restaurant serving bar type food. There is security patrol at night also. Most of the spots are in the shade and have a fire ring. The staff are all very nice.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice staff. Easy access to RA - Very convenient place to stay if you are doing a race weekend at Road America.
Stayed in a normal cabin. Nothing flashy but it was only a minute walk to the bathroom facilities.
Pool and convenience store on the property are nice and the staff is very helpful.
Note: communal bathroom could've been cleaner. Pack shower shoes.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to Road America! - The check in was great! The cabin was supposed to sleep 6...it would but was extremely small for 3 of us staying there. I can't imagine 6! The bed were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. It was obvious that it was about cheap and not comfort!!!
- Daniel (6/5): Worth visiting, but call ahead to confirm check-in - Really nice place with great amenities. But when I book a cabin with a bed (2 bunk beds in this case) I expect that they come with sheets and pillows. In fact that is what the photos on the website show. So you can imagine my unhappiness to roll in at midnight and find no sheets or pillows and a closed office, so no way to get them. My first night's sleep was cold and uncomfortable. My second night, with a thin blanket and travel pillow I purchased myself at Farm & Fleet wasn't much better.
The website also neglects to explain check in after regular business hours. I called at 6 on Friday to indicate I was running late and the office was closed and no alternative number was provided. It took over an hour to track down a number for security, who it turns out will provide you with your cabin key up until midnight on Friday and 3am Saturday.
I would really love to give an unqualified 5 bar review, because Plymouth Rock is very well maintained and offers great amenities, especially for families. But the failure on these two key bits of the experience results in the 3 bar room comfort rating.
- Scott (6/5): - Peaceful
- mark (8/5): Camping - This is not really a hotel it's a campground is lots of amenities and a pool but it's a shared bathroom and you need to bring your own bedding and towels. In the cabin had no air conditioning. The staff was nice.
