- Sally (7/5): It was a hassle not having a key card. - The check in staff member was working hard, trying his best. The key card system was not working so a line at check in and each time going to the room required an escort to let you in the room.

- barbaradZ6811NA (6/5): Great hotel but the WiFi was problematic - As with most Marriott properties , the front desk staff is always so nice and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. The reason for the 3 evaluation is the WiFi access in the room. Even after speaking with their IT helpdesk, the internet access, both WiFi and cellular was non-existent. I had to work in the common area instead of in my room.

- Kimberly (8/5): Main door lock did not work. - This particular Hotel is a favorite of mine. It is always clean and the staff is always polite and professional. The problem I had with this visit and I thought it was concerning...was that the main lock on the entry door did not work (Room 314) and the bathroom door lock did not work. I stayed in the room anyway due to being ill. I informed the staff upon check out and I hope the issues will be fixed for the next guest.

- TravelChic4469 (10/5): Last minute booking - Booked the hotel and checked in within four hours. Everything was clean and tidy. The mattress was excellent and the pillows were good. Breakfast was fresh and supplied well despite going to the breakfast bar a half hour before it closed. Despite being quite full, the hotel was very quiet.

Throughout almost looked like in the middle of a makeover. Dated. Had to switch rooms because tv didn’t work and maintenance has already left; it wasn’t even 4:30 pm Before we switched rooms, we noticed drawer in one nightstand was left open, tv screen was filthy with smears and stuff splashed on it. “Stuff” on other surfaces. Questioned overall cleanliness.

The hotel has ample parking, is set back from the street so is quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable; bed were firm (which I like). My only two pieces of constructive feedback are, first, there was a little bit of mold on the grout in the shower. Not a lot but would easily be taken care of with a slightly deeper cleaning. Second, the lighting in the bathroom was a little lax for such a big space. Otherwise, it was a very acceptable and afforable overnight stay. I would definitely visit this hotel again.

Cons: - Hotel wifi did not work in the meeting room. This was somewhat disruptive to our conference. Another attendee reported that the wifi did not work in their room. (The wifi did work in my room.) - I also got minimal, intermittent cell reception in the meeting room (Verizon). - Minifridge in my room didn't get things very cold.

- Steve (1/5): Miserable unheated hotel that has fallen in hard times. - There was no Internet service throughout our stay and the front desk staff was completely unconcerned and unhelpful about the situation. Moreover, to save money, there was NO HEAT in the lobby, breakfast area and corridors. The hotel was freezing. We will never say there again! Miserable experience and miserable, unhelpful staff!

Even though I didn't use housekeeping they were on the floor everyday and offered their services. The breakfast in the mornings was good and they switched it up each morning I stayed there. Would recommend friends and family to stay here and I'll definitely stay when I'm in Fort Wayne again.
