• Stephanie (6/5): Okay for one night, but the attention to cleanliness needs to be upgraded. - Convenient location. Staff was very helpful and courteous. The bed was very comfortable. The room was mostly clean, but felt dingy. I had 2 shampoos and no conditioner. There was a dirty rag on top of the shower curtain and the tv remote was sticky. The light in the bathroom made clicking sounds when on.
• David (5/5): - Disappointed! At 8am there was nothing left of breakfast that I liked and NO COFFEE!!!! Had to ask to have some made!!!!! Breakfast!! Also there was a small roach on the bathroom shower curtain!

• James (8/5): The stay was worth it.we have family that live nearby we will stay again because it was clean and friendly - The room was nice nice size comfortable the staff was friendly. We enjoyed our stay and I’m sure we’ll stay there again. When we got into our room, it was hot. There was no air-conditioning turned on. We turned it on. Didn’t take long to cool off the room. The hallway in the lobby was hot. Went for breakfast the next morning around 8:30. There was nothing left and it was too warm in the dining area to eat and the coffee was cold.
• Don (4/5): Not a pleasant stay. - The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. There was not a water faucet on the bathtub just a pipe sticking out of the wall to the tub. So we were unable to take a shower. Also there was food in the fridge from the previous guest. The room also didn’t have a TV remote.

They kept the hallway light off was little scary being a girl there untill my husband got out of work and walking down the hallways in the dark. But would book again staff was nice and friendly.

• Kyle (6/5): - First let me say that the lady at the check in was super friendly. That was the most pleasurable experience with this location. You walk in the doors, it's about 80 degrees in there even when it's 96 outside. There is no "breakfast" as you would like to see. There were mini muffins and 1/4 cup of waffle mix. No eggs, no bacon, no sausage. The rooms have a lot that need to be done to them. There are small beetle type bugs on the bathroom floor (dead) but still there none the less. There was a blood stain on the comforter cover they place at the end of the bed - Gross. There was an abandoned rundown home with 7 foot tall grass covering it as my view from the hotel window. The a/c DID blow cold so that was a plus. Overall, next time, I will stay in Cuero where there are a little bit more options and hotel properties that looked a little better kept. Again, the nice lady running the front desk was a delight to speak to and very helpful. That is the only employee that I encountered during my stay.

Musty/Mold smell when we got into the room but went away once AC was on. Hotel needs an update. Reserved a king bed room and ended up with queen/full bed. Plus side was the quietness and morning staff was pleasant.

• Sylvia (1/5): Treat guess like you’d like to be treated when checking into a hotel. - location Receptionist at front desk was very unprofessional! Asked for 2 beds on first floor because of having sister with disability. Was told I had to cancel reservations from king to 2 queen. As for first floor had to call boss for approval. Said first floor was all booked for convention. We were the only 2 there! Room had no towels, toiletries, ice bucket & phone not working, Had to go to front desk & request. Towels looked like very dirty stained rags! Breakfast was nasty. Consisted of egg crumbs, bagels were hard, old sausage, no syrup, bananas were black/brown. As we were checking out manager is bringing in bagels, bananas etc also for vending machines. Receptions at 10:40a met me as I was walking out to check out. Also manager follows me outdoor to asked me for key. I had given key to receptions already. Found this place dirty smelling like dog, & rude

• Bruce (6/5): Inexpensive, and you get what you pay for - The hotel was fine for a quick unplanned overnight stay. A few minor issues. Shower pressure was very weak. The sink stopper was stuck. The fabric on the room’s chair looked like a cat clawed it, and was repaired with tape. The TV was stuck one channel. But, the bed was comfortable, so there’s that.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Well, when we first arrived all of the lights in the lobby were off except front deck. Check-in was easy which was nice. However, hotel was hot and rooms were set at 80 upon arrival. Something that scared me was the view! It was of a run down house that had trash all around it. Also, I was surprised they say they have a fitness room because it had 1 working treadmill and an old piece of gold's gym equipment that looked like it would break if used. The few things positive about hotel was the comfort of the bed and that the air conditioner did stay cold the entire stay. I must say that I did sleep well.

• karen (2/5): Insect egg casings on wall. - Egg casings were on the wall and larva were hatching out. Informed staff and asked for different room. They said they didn't have another one so decided to check out. Owner refused to give refund for room because we had been in the room for 1.5 hours and had turned on the air conditioner. Staff came in and sprayed the larva, sweep them off the wall, and said the room was OK. I have never been treated so poorly.
• Dianne (6/5): Hidden Charm?????? - There is a serious safety issue with NO light in the corridors. The roaches were not the biggest I had ever seen, but a roach is a roach. The young lady who checked me in looked like she had just crawled out of bed and said not one word to me. She was a true customer service expert! The area outside my window could be used for a horror movie. The Bates Motel comes to mind.
