• Arthur (2/5): - It's unfortunate that a hotel can't connect to international credit cards. I went to another hotel and used the same card without any problems. It should be made clear that it only accepts domestic guests. A total disaster with completely outdated technology. Due that was impossible to made a check in.
• Marjorie (10/5): Very nice - I had very limited interaction with the staff, but the front desk clerks were very nice. The only suggestion I would have is to make the ease of the bed night lights operation better.

The outside and the inside are well-maintained! Plenty of shopping/restaurants across the street and nearby! Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area :) plus the staff were exceptional!

• Schyann (10/5): Impressed with the Atlantic Inn - The front desk was very polite and friendly! The Inn is quite small, but it is well decorated and very, very clean! Despite it being on the highway, it was not loud at all. I couldn't even hear any of the other guests. Within walking distance there are a few restaurants, including a diner and Starbucks. The rooms were very nicely decorated and had an elegant feel to them.
• Kinsey (8/5): - I love this motel and everything about it. My only complaint is the initial smell of the room when you first walk on. You get used to it after 5 mins of being in the room but still happens after 3 visits.

• Laura (10/5): Nice stay - Very nice stay. The rooms were comfortable and very clean(!). It would be great if there was an in-room mini-fridge. Location next to a starbucks and near restaurants is convenient. Nice to stay somewhere that isn't one of the chain hotels.

• Xiaodong (10/5): - This is the best small budget hotel I have ever stayed in, although I am a very picky person, if this hotel can provide breakfast and dinner of the quality that matches its decoration and facilities, I must describe it as "excellent". If I were to visit that area again for accommodation I would have no other alternative.
• Edward (10/5): A Gem. - Nicely renovated motor inn with clean updated bathroom, comfortable bed, AC, new appliances. Wonderful shower, great water pressure, fast hot water. No microwave or mini-fridge.

• Michael (8/5): Great place to stay, but no working WiFi. - Everything was great. Our only complaint was that the TV was strictly connected to WiFi which didn’t work, even with the password they gave us during check-in. We had to use my cell. phone’s hotspot to watch TV and connect to one of our streaming services to watch TV on our downtime. And, the desk did not do anything to compensate us for the problem with the WiFi. We were still charged the full rate.

• Eric (10/5): Wonderful! - Room was very nice. Bathroom was nicely remodeled. There were towel bars for all of the towels and walk-in shower was configured so the water stayed in the shower! Perhaps small details but in my experience these stand out from nearly all other hotels I’ve been in before.
• David (6/5): - Check in was terrible. Clerk Margaret, wasn’t helpful at all. The price I had on hotels wasn’t the price that I paid. When I questioned Margaret, she just shrugged and told me to find another place.

• Susan (8/5): - I have stayed at this property several times. This last time I was very upset. As when I arrived my two relatives rooms were ready. However mine was not. That was not the problem. The problem was when we all returned from our relatives birthday party we had just gotten out of the vehicle and we were greeted by a staff member stating that they had a complaint about noise. Funny thing is we just arrived, how did you already receive a call if you met me at the sidewalk when we pulled in. Then I received a phone call from this staff member stating the same thing and that this is not a party hotel. We were just unloading our luggage at this point. She then stated that we had 10 people in my car. No there was just five. Me my husband and my three grandchildren. My grand children were staying in the other two rooms with my sister and cousin that each had a room there. So I didn’t see the problem when the staff stated that my room was over booked with guest. I went to checkout and was hoping to speak to the owner. However, she was not on site. My husband was really upset and advised me not to stay here again, but I do love this place and never had an issue. I told my husband that we would wait to see if I get a response from the owner on if we will stay again.

There was a constant clicking in the ceiling...almost like creaking from someone on the roof...but it was LOUD. Kept me awake at night and drove me crazy. Horrible for relaxation or sleep. Ruined our stay.
• Lynn (10/5): Very nice accommodations! - This motel is really a “cut above”! It was a very good value for an older place with a very thoughtful update. Both the room and the bathroom were impressively clean, the linens and towels very nice. I would definitely return if I’m the area.

So, we had to upgrade to an executive suite, which was much more spacious, but of course cost more and was only available for the first three nights. So, we stayed three nights (comfortably), but then had to find another place for the other 3 nights.

• Lori (8/5): Fine for a one night - This was a quick overnight stay for us on a longer trip. This motel is older but well maintained. There is significant road noise, but they provide a white noise machine in the room. We thought the mattress should be updated, but other than that, the room was fine for what we needed. Clean, convenient to the highway and bonus: next door to Starbucks!
• James L. (10/5): - I grew up in Newington ct and know the Berlin turnpike well. This hotel is safe clean and not what you expect o Berlin Tpke motel to be. The room is so clean and the ground kept beautifully. I now live in fla and will use this as my place to stay when visiting Connecticut
• Shirley (10/5): - We had the executive suite. It was lovely, very clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was like brand new. It was very convenient to major highways. Would definitely stay there again.

It had a door between the bedroom and living area in one of the rooms (we enjoyed coming back and having another night while on our trip! View of ocean is beautiful from the balcony. • Matthew (6/5): - The biggest problem was they lost they offer noon time check in but when I got there at 12:30 I was told they only do 3:00 check in. The whole reason I booked this location was for the noon check in. The room was small but clean and met my needs do think it’s very pricey for the size of the room and not have a noon check in.

• Geoffrey (8/5): - In town for a 2 night stay. The property is a little out of the way from where the in-laws live but I have to say I was impressed. The property has been recently (nicely) renovated and first impressions were great. The room and bathroom were very clean, the shower is roomy and has great water pressure. There is a big screen tv with full cable and a big comfy bed. Two comments: When housekeeping refreshes the bathroom, if you remove the old soap and shampoo, can you replace them with new supplies. We had none for the second night. The place was very good but it would be perfect if at sometime down the road you added mini fridges! The next time we’re in Hartford, we’ll be booking with you!

• Ian (4/5): Torture! - The room was smelly, hot, and bathroom Door was very hard to close. Also the air conditioning struggled to cool. Also not Enough towel for 3 people and the TV remote was under the bed. Further the bed frame had evil metal pieces that stuck out to assault your ankles. Then there was a knocking on the wall of something and the walls shook from other doers slamming.

• Esme (10/5): - Believe all of the excellent reviews about this Inn. It was in a super convenient location, very clean and modern, quiet (at least it was in our room in the back:) and the beds! Oh my goodness, SO comfy! The pillows were amazing too! I wanted to buy the same ones for home but there were no tags to be found on them (I tried:) Also, reasonably priced and a short less than 10 minute Uber ride to our concert we were in town for.) Thank you! I’d stay here again 100 times over.
