Apartment was very well equipped. It was lovely to have the two on suite bathrooms, one with shower over the bath and one with a walk in shower

My autistic son had trouble getting the showers to stay at a temperature he liked.

- Louise (5/5): - It is very spacious and clean, near all amenities. Bed was really comfortable. Didn't like king-size quilt on a double, kept getting my legs trapped in excess material. Heating was hard to get on. Tried everything. We were freezing cold a few days and nights. Carpets throughout, not good when you request a dog friendly accommodation. So I was really stressed in case my dog had an accident. The host only met us on arrival. Didn't once pop in to see if we had everything we needed or just to say hello. The tv in the lounge was horrendous. We couldn't hear it as when you turned the volume up, it made a bussing noise. We had about 4 channels in the bedroom. The noise from traffic was horrendous, ambulance and police sirens all night long.

Washing machine needs a good clean found someone’s old lighter jammed in the rubber of the wheel.
Kettle needed descaling which I did myself would be better I say for them to do this before guests stay.

Huge apt in a brilliant location supermarket across the road short walk to restaurants bars etc, the beds were very comfortable hostess brilliant waited to greet us at property and took us through everything the apt Aldo has a very handy lift I will definitely return Nothing do fault here only issue on leaving day we had to leave apt for 10 I think that is a little early for a property you go want to leave so no time to make breakfast last day .

I liked that there was extra seating and the dining area.I was also impressed with the private garden area, which was brilliant for kids. We were allowed to check in early and leave our car in the car park after check-out, which was a bonus. Parking is always an issue in Southport, so this made all the difference. Dave was very welcoming and showed us round a few of the other apartments. We will definitely be staying again.

- Charmaine (10/5): We loved staying for two days and will be back again soon I just wish you could stay longer than two days ie 3 day stays - I loved how the decor of the apartment it was so comfy it was like a home from home type of accommodation plus it was well equipped so you didn’t need to buy or take anything with you apart from food and your luggage. I’ve stayed here before and it was such a lovely stay this time round again. Nothing the property was within reach of shops and bars so it was ideal location and family friendly

- Vlb966 (10/5): Pure Comfort and Luxury - The apartment was lovely and much nicer than I expected. It was big, clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need and even the things you dont think about. The beds were comfortable too. A little garden out back that was enclosed for the dog too. Private off street parking was apprecaited and very handy. Walking distance to Victoria Park where we were working for the weekend. Each room had it's own en-suite which is good when your sharing with work collegues. I look forward to rebooking again next year.

First class accommodation
- Anthony (10/5): Great apartment, very well equipped in the centre of Southport - The property was very central to Southport, very clean, everything you needed was in the apartment. Very well equipped and to a high standard. Very spacious and comfortable with plenty of seating, and great beds. We had the penthouse and the lift took you straight into the apartment which was a nice touch and helped when taking baggage to and from the apartment. Dave was the perfect host, very friendly and informative about the area. An absolute gentleman. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended if you are staying in Southport or as we did for Aintree.

Well equipped and lovely and warm. Onsite parking very near to the front door of our apartment. Traffic noise all day long from 6am in the morning into the early hours of the next day. It’s on the corner of two busy roads. Ear plugs definitely helped.

- Laura (10/5): A lovely spacious getaway - How big and spacious each and every room was, it was nice to have a lift to get our bags up and down and the balcony was a lovely treat! We didn’t not like a thing.
- Murphy (9/5): Brilliant apartment - Beautiful apartment. Large, clean, and well furnished.met Dave who runs the place and he was a lovely bloke. Very helpful and made us feel welcome.
Perfectly situated at the far end of Lord St. So very handy for shops but not right in the middle of town so nice and quiet.
When we next visit Southport, this will be the first place I check to see if there is an apartment.
Thoroughly recommend this place. Thanks Dave for making our stay such a pleasant experience.

- John (9/5): City centre break. Repeat Booking of Great Accommodation. - The Shelbourne remains our go to choice for accommodation in Southport. Great central location with parking. Excellent space standards. Nicely fitted out and homely. Great host who cares about customer care, friendly and helpful. Overall good value for money and thoroughly recommended. Some of the well stocked kitchen facilities/ utensils becoming a bit worn - e.g. knife block, radio aerial broken. But very minor issues - as overall excellent compared to similar offerings.

Morrisons across the road handy for shopping. 5 minute walk to Victoria Park and Marine Lake for dog walking. Host very friendly and helpful. High standard of facilities with parking, very homely and comfortable. Would stay here again.

- Geraldine (10/5): Great accommodation in the centre of Southport - Very good location for the coast, the park and the city centre, without having to take the car.
Accommodation was very well equipped and very clean and had a car parking spsce. We had a great stay visiting family nearby. Hope to return soon.
