- Juan (10/5): The best place to enjoy your stay on Brussels. - The best host ever, my partner and I had the best time. A good location on Brussels, starting the day with the best breakfast posible made by Erik. Confortable room and bed, a couple of blocks from the Northern Train Station. Erik is the best host ever, always preocupied of everything. Good location, near the train station and also not far from the city center and main Brusells' atractions, completely walkable.
- Carsten (9/5): - Extrem netter und flexibler Gastgeber. Eric war sehr hilfsbereit und hat gute Tips gegeben.
Die Lage war prima. Alles wichtige ist fußläufig erreichbar. Gutes Frühstück. Nichts.
- Luca (8/5): Great choice for those who wants to feel at home - Erick was a great host. He made me feel at home and prepared me an excellent homemade breakfast every day. I had to cross the corridor to get to the bathroom, which is not that convenient, as you don't have full privacy.
- CHEW YAN (10/5): Wonderful and Beau - It had been a wonderful stay at Erick's apartment. The interior of the whole apartment is beautiful and artistic. It is very clean too.
Erick was an excellent host during my 2-night stay there, that I felt very much at home and at ease immediately. Thank you Erick!
The location is perfect, close to city centre, metro and bus station, and yet quiet.
The breakfast was amazing too! There were homemade freshly baked bread, yogurt and jam, plus a few slices of cheese and cold cut, and boiled egg, coffee or tea, and freshly squeezed orange juice when he was at home the first morning. All were not only tasty, also very aesthetically presented! What a nice touch! I would say, things were with soul! Impressive! Thanks a lot Erick!
Erick is very informative and of good vibe. I appreciate his directness about his thoughts and with strong principle, those made me feel he is a very reliable person. Therefore I would say he is a person whom one can have a pleasant and earnest chat with.
Once again, thank you Erick🙏🙏! And....to the two lovely fluffy cats, Baloo and Wasabee, too!!! These two cats are just adorable!!!
Highly recommended!!
- Evelyne (8/5): -

- Astrid (9/5): -
- Kacia (10/5): Would stay again - We felt right at home. Eric was very welcoming and friendly. The room was bigger, than looked at photos. I adore Baloo and Wasabi.
- Claude-Alain (9/5): acceuil très chaleureux de la part d'Erick , on reviendra avec plaisir - excellent,de nombreux produits fait maison bruits de la ville , malheureusement inévitables
- Lyubomir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cartney (7/5): It’s exactly like described. If you don’t expect much, you won’t be disappointed. Location is great. - Friendly host and well located building Very loud street in the night; toilette a bit far.
- Jakub (10/5): Wonderful stay in Brussels. Great breakfast, lovely host, and adorable cats. Highly recommended! - Eric was a fantastic host – in the morning he served a delicious breakfast with freshly baked bread. The apartment was cozy and clean, and the two British cats were so fluffy and friendly. It felt like a home away from home.
- Susan (9/5): Well connected location for our adventure in Belgium - Erick was a wonderful host.
Lovely breakfast each morning and excellent tips for our stay
- Mrs (9/5): Lovely home vibes - Easy to get to from train station. Host and his cats were lovely. Bedroom good size. Breakfast wonderful, freshly made bread and yogurt. Town roughly 15 min walk Would of liked bathroom in room( not a problem though)
- Dominic (9/5): nice place, excellent host - nice place, excellent host
- Pei-ying (9/5): The perfect option for a trip to Brussels - I love how spacious the room and the bathroom are! The location was great too: the closest metro is in 7 minutes walking distance; there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. The most importantly, there are 2 lovely cute cats I could play with! There was not much I could complaint- if I have to say something then it is the check in time which was 16:30.
- Vega (10/5): Comfortable and excellent host - Good relationship cost-benefit and the host is awesome A little bit far from the center by walking but conveniently there’s a very near bus stop (lines 65 and 66) that will take you there in 5 minutes. Not a big issue
- Michiel (4/5): the Booking rate of 9.0 is extremely high. Definitely not justified in my view. - Exterior bathroom: I was expecting a bit more privacy, knowing you need to cross the corridor if you want to use the bathroom during the night. Also there were cats.
- Zurab (9/5): Superb - Room was clean and cozy.
Many thanks to the owner for his helpful advices. Exceptionally friendly situation.
Homemade bread and yogurt deserves separate bravo!
Location is within walking distance of the center and metro station is very close to apartments.
Two cats Balu and Wasabee made a warm greeting.
Definitely recommend staying at B&B Welcome To My Place.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Secretariat (9/5): perfect location, nice welcome - perfect location near European Commission buildings.
very cosy place, with cats roaming around. a bit difficult to find the right doorbell for the B&B ;)
- Borisginger (9/5): Perfect B&B experience - The breakfast alone is already worth to stay at this place. Home made bread and pastry, fresh juice and home made yoghurt, in a cosy environment. Host is extremely friendly and helpful. -
- Bartlomiej (7/5): A nice, inexpensive guesthouse for undemanding guests - The guesthouse is located close to the old town and equally close to the European Quarter. Comfortable bed. Very good breakfasts. A friendly, smiling and helpful owner. The area is not quiet. Until late hours and early in the morning you can hear noise from the street, construction works, garbage collection, etc. It doesn't matter much when the windows are closed, but when they are open it is quite annoying. My room had a "private bathroom", but to go to the toilet I had to go through a corridor that was also accessible to other users, which was quite embarrassing.
- Sokol (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olaf (10/5): - -Persönlicher Charme des Gastgebers
-leckeres Frühstück mit viel selbst gemachten

- Seyedesima (10/5): Exceptional - Eric was an outstanding host, providing excellent suggestions for exploring the city. The breakfast was fantastic, featuring freshly baked bread daily, homemade jam and yogurt, and refreshing orange juice. The added bonus of his two friendly cats made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for a delightful stay. -
- Michael (9/5): Great experience in an authentic Belgian apartment. We definitely felt welcomed. - Breakfast was very good. The freshly made bread, hand-squeezed orange juice and home-made preserves were a nice gesture. Location was great for either walking or it was close to various metro stations to get to farther sides of the city. Host was very knowledgeable when it came to local restaurants and things to see and he was a pleasure to have a chat with. The cats were an extra bonus. More pillows on the bed. They were a little soft for my liking.
- Costanza (7/5): Very nice host and good place to stay. Bonus point for the 2 cats. -
- Kathrin (9/5): Superb - Very kind host, clean room, cosy appartment. Recommended for everyone who wants to feel at home while staying in Brussels!
- Liliana Cristina (10/5): - Erik el anfitrión, es muy atento
- Susan (10/5): A homely stay in Brussels - A most kind owner has a really lovely welcome for guests. The breakfast and facilities were homely and it’s an authentic Belgian apartment. Thank you sincerely Erick.
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional - Wery nice and quiet place, great localization in a center of Brussels. Breakfasts was very tasty and Eric was very helpfull host. Everything was ok.
- Alan (10/5): - Erick (and his fluffy cats) welcomed us to his lovely home for our Christmas market break. He was an incredibly friendly host, sharing plenty of recommendations for things to do in the local area. His breakfasts are entirely homemade, with bread, yoghurt, and jams that he bakes/prepares himself. He even presses his own orange juice. The effort that he puts in to make sure guests stays are comfortable is exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. Our room was clean and comfy, and we enjoyed our stay very much.
- Bartosz (8/5): I really recommend this place for quick city break, Erich is amazing owner! - +Breakfast was very tasty, prepared every day
+owner is very friendly person eager to help on each step
+2 very chonky and friendly cats
+Great location, 20 minutes from city center by foot
+Comfortable bed -Shower in room
-Price ratio is pretty bad
-Breakfast was really tasty and prepared by owner, but it was a little bit boring after few days
- James (9/5): Fantastic stay in Brussels. Would defo stay again! - Beautiful room, fantastic friendly host, lovely cats! Was a little worried about the bathroom situation but was not an issue at all. Homemade yogurt was really tasty Maybe a little loud outside at night but really not a massive issue as it was a weekend. Sunday night was fine.
- Dennis (8/5): Great place to stay in proximity to public transport and central Brussels - Erick was exceptional and always provided great recommendations for things to do and where to enjoy good food. Pretty cats too :-)
- Anon99 (10/5): Very pleased! - Erick was very friendly, the house is well located near the Botanique metro station and there was a tram line just outside. The unis was clean, toilet and shower facilities were new, clean and had strong water pressure. The homemade breakfast offered was simple but hearty! We had the room with a private external toilet which was right outside our room door. This was clearly explained in the description and was of no trouble whatsoever. The two resident cats were friendly and unintrusive - Wasabee especially was always keen for a belly rub! Nothing!
- Roberta (10/5): - Erick is the host with the most! He provides a super-clean, comfortable property and a fantastic breakfast. He makes his own yogurt and bread, and sets a beautiful table. He is very friendly and has a lot of info about Brussels.
- Etienne (10/5): I'll be back ! - The place is super nice. It is clean and well tended. The room was very confy. The breakfast is superbe with most of the marmelade, yogourt, bread homemade ! Erick is a wonderful host. At the time I was landing, he happened to be passing by the airport and proposed to give me a direct lift to his appartement . That was very kind of him.
The two cat are beautiful and super quiet. Nothing. Everything was good for me.
I was there for a business trip with intense working day. Resting in Erick's flat at the end of the day was relaxing.
- Ivaylo (7/5): Good - Erick the host is very friendly and helpful! We were feeling cold the first night and he immediately changed our duvet to a winter one! Location is perfect - close to the metro and the center. The 2 cats are adorable and you can pet them as much as you want - they love it! It’s was cold in the building as the central heating wasn’t enabled when we stayed. There wasn’t any external heater we could have used so overall it wasn’t pleasant staying in the room, unless you are covered by the duvet. The toilet is private, but didn’t feel like so, as it is located close to the kitchen/living area. When booking, read all the description carefully so that you know what you are booking and there won’t any be any surprises
1) this is a B&B accommodation. The apartment is shared between 2 guests in their private rooms and the host who lives there (sleeps elsewhere)
2) there are 2 cats living in the apartment at all time. Both of them are very well mannered, super fluffy and playful. If you are afraid of cats tho, it would be another experience
- Rudi (10/5): Great place for money. Outstanding hospitality - Top Hospitality, Nice breakfeast. Very clean. Great location.
- Frances (10/5): Exceptional - Erick was the perfect host, providing a delicious breakfast with homemade bread, yogurt and preserves every day. When we arrived at 9pm on our rainy first night, tired, hungry and soaked through, he very kindly phoned one of his favourite local restaurants to ask them to accommodate us for a late dinner. We enjoyed getting to know Erick and his very friendly cats, and hope to visit them again in the future.
- Silsby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (7/5): Good - The kindness of the owner and the two lovely, big cats. The location close to metro botanique. The building is quite. The toilette outside the room is not opposite or close to the room. You need to go through a door in the corridor opposite to the kitchen. There is not privacy.
I would recommend to offer at least one croissant for breakfast close to the home made bread and the little sweet cake
- Ramiro (10/5): Exceptional -
- José Luis (10/5): Definitely going back - Staying here with Eric was great, he has a lovely place where to stay, the neighborhood it's great so you don't need to worry about anything. He pays a lot of atenttion to details so our breakfast made us feel like we're not in a regular B&B, you gotta try the delicious homemade bread and the strawberry jam also the Yogurt. The room was pretty big and the bed very comfortable. Definitely going back. Mexico Here!
- Milena (10/5): Exceptional - From the first moment, you get the feeling that you are welcome. I felt like I had arrived at an old, good friend's place. After a tiring day at the meeting, a comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, and unobtrusive conversation with pleasant people. I highly recommend this accommodation.
- Federico (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent place to stay in Brussels! Location at walking distance from city centre. Erick is a great host; he's friendly, helpful and happy to provide info and recommendations. His place is very nice; the bedroom was comfortable and beakfast delicious. His home-made bread and yogurt are a plus! And he has two adorable cats.
- Gareth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marc (10/5): Great place to stay , very kind and helpful host. - Excellent place to stay in Brussels , the host is very kind and does everything to make your stay perfect. The breakfast was haw-some. The bathroom large and plenty of space to enjoy the hot water.
The room was large enough for one person with all necessary accommodations. The bed was fine. Nothing negative to say , it is definitely a great place to stay for a couple days in Brussels
- Daniel (9/5): excellent - location at walking distance from town centre and good communications
Erick is very attentive and helpful
- Dani (10/5): My stay was perfect, cosy bed, great breakfast with fresh baked bread and the most friendly and helpful host. Thank you! -
- Lauren (10/5): Lovely place - So cozy and great breakfast!
- Hendrik (5/5): A basic B&B for those who don't care about modern standards of comfort, hygiene or privacy. - The room was clean except for a fungus (mould) problem that was caused by the not well separated shower in the room. The bed was good. There was free WiFi, although I did not need it due to a data flatrate on my phone. 1) I didn't like the location - it was my first time in Brussels and I had to realise that this quarter of Brussels is not one of the best - I saw a lot of dirt on the roads on my way walking from the train station Brussels North where I arrived to the hotel. I had been warned of robbery etc. by a friend (whom I missed to ask earlier) when I told her my place, so I was cautious with the people I saw on those dirty roads and nothing happened, but it was not a good feeling walking there.
2) I didn't like that the door of the room had no key - it remained entirely open when leaving the room! I have never experienced this in any B&B where I have stayed before, in any country. Normally, of course the guest and the host should have a room key, but it must not be open to other guests of the accommodation.
3) The breakfast was rather basic, below the average I know from similar places e.g. in Czechia or Germany that cost less per night. It had been labelled as "superb" by booking.com, which was one reason to book this place, but in reality it just consisted of some sweet bun, spongy toast bread (self made by the host, but a good bread from a bakery would have been far better), butter, some jams (not interesting for me as I don't like sweet breakfast), ONE type of cheese (Eidam or something similar), one little (max 100ml) glass of orange juice, one cup of tea or coffee, and a yoghurt (which I did not like much). No tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, etc. that are nowadays standard in good B&B places.
4) The toilet was about 10m away from the room, after passing a corridor and 3 doors. The room with the toilet had no sink for washing the hands, which in this situation is hygienically not good. The light in the corridor could only be switched on from the end where the room was located if it had not been switched off before by the host on the other side. As a result, in the first night I had to use a torch to go to the toilet.
- Woody (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thalita (10/5): Exceptional - The bed is super comfortable and the shower is very good. Erick is a great host and makes himself the bread and juice for the breakfast which is a really nice gesture! Everything went great and it was easy to get to the city center from the apartment.
- Rezvan_alamian (9/5): Superb - The host was very helpful, friendly and nice. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good. The toilets was outside the room.
- Charlie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Corentin (9/5): Superb -
- Amra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katarina (10/5): Cosy B&B with cats - The place is at the walking distance from the historical centre of Brussels, so it was easy to get there. The host was very nice and friendly (and so were his two cats). We liked the home-made bread we got every morning for breakfast and all the jams. And yoghurt was great.
- Victoria (10/5): Amazing b&b - Erik was lovely, he was so friendly and attentive. He had prepared freshly baked homemade break each morning, homemade jame, homemade yogurts and freshly squeezed orange juice! His attention to detail was amazing! Really happy with the room, very modern and the bed waa extremely comfortable. Had a great sleep every night! Would definitely stay again!
- Nilay (9/5): Home comfort in a good location - A Breakfast that makes you fell in you home. Erick is a great host and thinks everything you may need. You can use a Flibco bus + metro + 5 minutes walk to reach from airport. 15 minutes walk to Grand Place. Close to City2 shopping mall.
There are some markets on avenue but nearly 20 minutes walk. Cats but it is because of my allergy. They were so tame.
- Augusto (9/5): Superb - Erick kindness. Nothing.
- Aleks (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was very nice and the breakfast was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a great time. The location was very central, so we could visit many places without using the car or public transport. For me the bed was too hard, but that is only my preference. Otherwise everything was awesome.
- Malcolm (8/5): Very good -
- Sonja (9/5): Superb - We had a wonderful time at Ericks' place. We felt welcome right away by Erick and his two lovely cats. The breakfast was simply amazing and the place isn't far from Brussels centre. Erick also offered some good tips on what one can do in Brussels. We always book his place again.
- Sonja (10/5): great host. Erick left breakfast every morning, fresh bread, salami, orange juice, yoghurt. It is an apartment and 2 roo - perfect location, 15 min walk to center. Has two beautiful cats. Clean
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Juan (7/5): Bien con reparos - The host is very nice. The place is well located and they have a good breakfast. I don't like that cats can be everywhere: in the kitchen, on the breakfast table, etc. In the general information of the establishment they should warn that. If I had known, I would not have gone to this hotel.
- Doriana (10/5): Really cozy and comfortable room. Erick, the host is very friendly and kind. - Really cozy and comfortable room
- Simao (8/5): Nice B&B in central Brussels, but not for cat-allergic people. - Really well placed B&B, close to the Botanical garde. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was comprehensive and communication with staff was great (we didn't meet the owner but the lady who received us was great). The cats in the appartment are very lovely and well behaved, but unfortunately if you have allergies (which my partner has), it's a bit of an issue. They do not go into the rooms but it was still an issue in the common areas. Probably not an issue for most people, but it should probably be a bit more clearly advertised. Other than that, our room was great, but we'd have loved to have the possibility to have more darkness inside in the morning.
- Gary (10/5): A perfect weekend in Brussels. - A very friendly and helpful host nothing
was too much trouble. an excellent
knowledge of the city with some great
recommendations.
- Even_whatever (9/5): Superb - Erick is super nice! This apartment is very close to metro station. Two lovely cats (also a reminder for people have allergy) Not a dislike. Just a reminder that you need arrange the checkin time in advance :-)
- Ievgeniia (6/5): I haven’t read the description properly and it appeared to be a shared property with two cats. also CHECK IN is at 4pm ! - Good location I haven’t read the description properly and it appeared to be a shared property with two cats. also CHECK IN is at 4pm ! we had to wait almost 3 hours until we’ll check in, so obviously we were very irritated. But after the landlord was nice, he left us a good breakfast and helped us to get a taxi to the train station.
- Carol (10/5): Quirky stay - Friendly, knowledgeable owner, went out of this way to help Nothing
- Akari (10/5): - Wonderful owner, place, and breakfast!
We stayed very comfortable.
5 star!!!
