• RB_2014 (8/5): Sehr angenehmerr Aufenthalt mit zauberhafter Vermieterin. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt nach Heraklion - Etwas verzögert durch schlechtes Wetter zum Saisonstart wurde die Anlage in Windeseile in einen gepflegten und ansprechenden Zustand versetzt. Sophia tat Alles, um uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Die Zimmer im strandnäheren Gebäude hatten keinen Straßenlärm, aber durchaus Musik am Abend aus Nachbarhotels. Die Einrichtung war gepflegt und Alles sehr sauber. Vorne an der Straße hält der Bus (Linie 1) direkt nach Heraklion und zurück (Linie 6). Tickets gibt es im Minimarkt bei der Bushaltestelle. Das war perfekt. Auto konnte zum Glück stehen bleiben. Das Frühstück bietet verschiedene, vorkonfektionierte Optionen. Alle mit frischem Orangensaft und Kaffee. Der Strand ist eher grob, aber es gibt genügend Liegen und Schirme und man kann Relaxen und Baden. In Summe war das für uns ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Anscheinend halten sich nicht alle Gäste daran im Zimmer nicht zu rauchen. 2 optionale Zimmer rochen deutlich nach Rauch. Die Regelung müsste man vielleicht etwas verschärfen.

All of them going above and beyond to answer all of our questions and make sure that we had a great stay! We wanted to bring Dimitri home with us, but my luggage was already at 50 pounds! Our apartment was always clean, the the pool was great and being right on the ocean just put the cherry on top. Highly recommend.

• Claudia (10/5): Loved my stay, great service as apartment was serviced each day and I would def stay there again if I come back to Herak - Very clean and cosy apartment, nice balcony, super close to the ocean ans shops and restaurants plus easy car-parking. The noise from the road when sitting on the balcony but inside the apartment with the windows closed in was perfectly quiet. The property is also a bit difficult to find as the driveway is a bit hidden and narrow but with instructions where to turn exactly it was easy to get to.

Although the rooms are a bit outdated, the pool, the quality of the food, and the friendliness of the entire staff makes you feel right at home. Lovely people and best beach bar. Highly recommended!!

• Sandra (9/5): Definitely recommending and will visit again! - It’s at the beach with beach access, also has a pool, a restaurant/ bar and is located very very close to a nice street with all kinds of restaurants and shops. I liked that I have a wonderful shower- water pressure 10/10!, lots of space and a small kinda kitchen and balcony. The staff is also very nice and helpful!!! The food was delicious!! I had hair on my sheets and a dirty pillow. But it got fixed immediately so all good.

We met Sofia, Sonia, and her husband, all of whom were truly kind people. We had read beforehand about the burgers they serve, and indeed, they were delicious. I would highly recommend trying them without hesitation. The place is clean, the beach is nice, and the services are excellent. I will certainly return, and perhaps stay even longer next time. The check-in was very smooth and the team was always available – every question was answered immediately with a solution. Very personal and warm atmosphere! The other food served is great too and good value Right on the beach and a small pool area with sun beds and parasols We have just returned ( mid July 2025) the staff are friendly and helpful My only criticism is they allow people from outside the hotel to pay for sun bed rental around the pool and beach which attracts a lot of locals especially children, most are well behaved but some are not and it is not good atmosphere for the hotel guests when they are very noisy and splashing everyone around the pool especially in the evening when you are ready to go out and they are jumping and screaming and splashing water everywhere on the walk way , also if you have a hire car it’s hard to find a space because of the people from outside using them! But overall all nice place to stay Great shower and air conditioning Too many people from outside using facilities

Rendszeresen takarították az apartmanunkat és tiszta törölköző és ágynemű várt minket .Szuper személyzet akik állandóan lesték minden kívánságunkat. A szálláshoz tartozó medence és tengerpart mindig tiszta és rendezett. A Frank hamburgerező ami itt található mindenkinek ki kell próbálnia mert isteni! Ilyen nem volt

• Greete (10/5): Very nice and clean place just at the beach! - You can get to the apartments from airport very easily with line number 6 (1,20 eur per ticket) or a taxi is about 25 euros. The apartment is right at the beach where you can use the pool and sunloungers at the beach. Apartment had a small kitchen with a fridge and light cooking. Beds nice and clean, daily housekeeping and balcony was a big plus! Restaurants and shops near by and a bus stop right in front of the aparments to get to the city. Hosts are very lovely and happy people. Nice drinks and food portions are very generous at the Franks burger bar! We enjoyed ourselves very much! During weekend there were a lot of local families at the pool and the kids were jumping and splasing all over the place although there is a sign that there is no jumping, wished that the staff would have kept somekind of order.

• Nandor (9/5): A complex with a range of fine services with own beach, good for a relaxing stay. - A nice place with a limited number of apartments. Has an own pool, sun-beds on the beach with direct access, a pool bar and burger bar which serves a variety of food and burgers of very good quality, including vegetarian and vegan options. The location is a bit remote from Heraklion and the main attractions, therefore a rented car is recommended. On-site free parking is provided. The pool and beach is open for others than apartment users, visited mainly by locals. Frank's provided an excellent and quiet stay for my family. We could relax and charge our batteries successfully. The staff was friendly and helpful with very good English command. The price/quality ratio of the apartment and additional services was very good. Frank's is surrounded by abandoned or half-ready buildings, rusting industrial facilities and uncultivated gardens. If you turn away your eyes form the neighbourhood, you can enjoy the services provides.

Wspaniała obsługa, bardzo dobre śniadania, pyszne jedzenie na lunch i dobre drinki a wszystko w przyjaznej cenie. Pokój może nie klasy premium ale z czystą i pachnącą pościelą i kapitalną infrastrukturą.

We had to rearrange some of our travel plans and she did everything within her control to accommodate us. While we were at our apartment, she and her staff took excellent care of us and took a personal interest in us. We already plan to return for another vacation. 5 stars, highly recommend!

• Lucy (10/5): The friendliest place we’ve stayed in a long time - Has to be one of the friendliest things places we have stayed, and we have travelled a lot, the apartments have everything you need, ideal location in walking distance to local restaurants and shops etc, but what made it was the staff, especially Daniela and Sofia, they went out of there way to make us welcome the service was absolutely fantastic keeping us topped up with drinks and food, the club sandwiches and burgers are the best! • Christiaan Hugo (10/5): Fantastisch - Hartelijkheid bij ontvangst,ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel. Prima appartement (brandschoon) met zwembad en strand voor de deur. Niet zoveel te doen op loopafstand in de buurt maar met een auto ben je zo in Heraklion.
• Valerie (9/5): - La gentillesse du personnel , l emplacement, les équipements transats sur la plage , la piscine, l arrêt de bus juste en face pour aller sur Heraklion, être situé dans le centre d Amoudara Le 9 sur 10 est pour un matelas un peu mou et la WiFi qui ne va pas jusqu au chambre
• Herbert (8/5): A beautiful place at the beach of Amoudara with a very nice staff - We very much the enjoyed the swimming pool, the veranda and the terrace. Many thanks to Daniela and Dimitri. We stayed 9 nights and the room was only cleaned twice. We had not enough toilet paper. So we we went to the reception every time we ran out of paper. The ladies of the cleaning should pick up at least the trash.
• Janet (10/5): Everything right there, or across the. Can't wait to go back next week. - Beach pool staff location perfect to connect with local buses, taxis, shopping, restaurants. Loved it, going back next week.
• Zbigniew (4/5): quite disappointing despite good reviews, location and nice staff didn't quite make up for thefaults - The staff was friendly and mostly helpful, the beach was wide and sandy with comfortable access to the sea The beds were three single ones instead of a (requested/promised) double, toilet cistern was leaking and continuously noisily re-filling, WiFi was weak signal and intermittent at best (non-existent at times), breakfast was rather limited (4 offerings: eggs+bacon, omelette, Club sandwich or yogurt with fruit hence monotonous), there was no shower/water to wash feet at the beach for the first 6 days, the pool was filled with water on the 5th day, "mountain view" from the room was an exaggeration
• Grzegorz (10/5): Dobry hotelik dla mniej wymagających gości i lubiących kontakt z innymi ludźmi. - Przede wszystkim rodzinna atmosfera w całym obiekcie. Ciekawy fakt, że zarówno pani właścicielka jak i pani zarządzająca miały na imię Sofia. Obie zagadują (po angielsku i niemiecku co najmniej, znając w innych językach, w tym po polsku kilka zwrotów). Byliśmy w połowie maja, więc przed sezonem, dlatego nie było tłumów (ponoć są w sezonie). Hotelik jest podzielony na 3 piętrowe budynki, które są rozmieszczone na działce od jezdni (pierwszy jest 20m od jezdni) w stronę morza, po 6 pokoi w każdym (3 na parterze i 3 na piętrze), za budynkami znajduje się parking, potem budynek z restauracją (z pysznymi firmowymi burgerami) i tarasem z basenem i leżakami, potem bar i leżaki z parasolkami już bezpośrednio na plaży. Blisko przystanek autobusowy (łatwy dojazd lotniska w Heraklionie jak i do centrum miasta). Bilety można kupić w sklepikach przy przystankach lub u kierowcy (trochę drożej). Są 2 strefy, bilety są jednorazowe (II strefa = 2,5 eur) i jednodniowe (II strefa = 5 eur). W pobliżu są kilka wypożyczalni samochodów z opisem w jakich językach się mówi w biurze. Angielski jest dominującym, więc nie ma problemu aby się dogadać nawet mając podstawowy poziom. Wiatr, który, jak przeczytaliśmy, wieje o tej porze zawsze z różną intensywnością.
• Van Laarhoven (9/5): - De propere kamer en het goede bed. Het uitzicht vanuit de bar, zwembad en zee. Vlakbij de bishalte. De vriendelijkheid van het personeel Voor de slechte slapers, oordopjes meenemen. Voor de rest viel er niets tegen.
• Jolanta (10/5): Wspaniały - Mój pobyt w apartamencie Frank był wspaniały ! ciepła i rodzinna atmosfera szczególnie pani Sofiji sprawiła , że czułam się jak w domu ,, ponieważ było jeszcze przed sezonem i basen nie miał wody , zostałam przywitana śniadaniem na koszt restauracji ,, plaża jest piaszczystą i czysta ,a wygodne leżaki są w cenie pokoju z którego widok na morze sprawiał podwójną radość,, napewno tu wrócę 🥰 W kuchni brak deski do krojenia i Żelazka które było w informacji wyposażenia aparatu
• Akif Cem (10/5): - Plaja çok yakın , çalışanlar çok güleryüzlü ve kahvaltısı süperdi!
• Tatiana (10/5): - Siamo stati accolti con una gentilezza e una disponibilità davvero rare: il personale è stato caloroso fin dal primo momento, facendoci sentire subito a casa. La stanza era nuova, pulita e luminosa con vista mare — abbiamo avuto l’impressione di essere i primi ospiti dopo una recente ristrutturazione. La colazione inclusa era abbondante e in stile americano, ma lo staff era sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta con un sorriso. La struttura dispone di parcheggio, un dettaglio comodissimo, e di una spiaggia molto bella. Un soggiorno rilassante e curato nei dettagli: consigliatissimo!
