- Michelle (10/5): Betws-y-Coed's gem - Nestled away with outstanding views lies this gem of accommodation where every nuance is catered for. The room is immaculately presented with a wonderful bed and en-suite and many subtle comfort facilities. The hosts are caring and attentive with a wealth of knowledge of the area and keen to impart their advice and support. I enjoyed a different breakfast each morning, but the homemade vegan sausages are to die for. I congratulate Matin and Pippa on running a delightful nest within easy walking reach of Betws-y-Coed with all its dining and activity opportunities. Not a signal complaint except I wish I could have stayed longer

- Dan Schofield (10/5): Stunning little B&B in the north wales mountains. - Lovely little B&B in North Wales, Martin, Pippa & Marian are amazing hosts and go above and beyond.
From the moment we arrived till the moment we left, we felt welcomed and at home. Martin gave us a nice little lesson on how to pronounce some of the local towns and villages. And also recommendations of places to visit.
Rooms were immaculate, and there was no dirty or dust to be found. There are no marks anywhere, and definitely well looked after.
Breakfast was very yummy and well presented, delicious and fresh with lots of different options to pick from.
The welsh cakes & Bara Brith cake slices that were wrapped in tinfoil for snacks also delicious and went down a treat.
Definitely the place to visit and stay at the foot of snowdonia and will for sure be back again in the future.
Oh, and definitely consider booking the front viewing rooms, the view i could sit and watch for hours! The only thing I could think of...and it's a very far stretch was the shower could maybe do with some sort of floor mat or grip as I did some slip and sliding a few times! But it's not really an issue.
- jitesh (10/5): A gem of a B&B with the loveliest hosts and a setting that feels like home in nature - We had a truly wonderful and memorable stay with Pippa, Martin, and Marta. They are the loveliest hosts so welcoming, kind, and genuinely hospitable. The B&B was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located, just a 20-minute walk into Betws-y-Coed. It really felt like a home away from home, set in a beautiful location surrounded by nature. Breakfast was delicious, and having a hearty cooked meal was especially appreciated on the day we hiked up Mount Snowdon it gave us the energy we needed! This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and I would love to return again one day. Everything was perfect

- Coates (10/5): Excellent stay in the beautiful Welsh surroundings - We were in. Room 8 and it was absolutely stunning, so much space and a HUGE bathroom with gorgeous shower. Beds were so clean and comfortable and we slept amazingly. Hosts were brilliant, so welcoming, friendly and offered lots of insights into the surrounding area - places to eat and visit. Breakfast was wonderful. Tasty and locally sourced and we were even sent off with a lovely pack up of Welsh cakes and fruit loaf. Hosts went above and beyond in making sure everything was okay and if we needed anything. Would HIGHLY recommend and hope to visit again. Everything was amazing, nothing we would change.

Room 8 is perfect for a small family and has lovely private seating area outside and large bathroom with huge shower. Breakfast was outstanding and lovely little touches throughout making the stay very enjoyable. Quiet location but with easy access to the town.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Wow, what a place! The most amazing hosts, it’s truly a home from home. - The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. There was some seating outside to enjoy, and the rooms were extremely comfortable and well stocked. But it’s not just the b&b itself - I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such amazing hosts before! Both Martin and Pippa were so friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. You can tell they take a lot of pride in giving guests the best possible stay, it almost feels like a stay with friends and family. I don’t eat gluten which they were very attentive to (including gluten free biscuits in the room, gluten free restaurant recommendations, and gluten free pancakes to die for!). Our only regret was that it was only a short stay. Nothing!
- Tracey (10/5): -
- Linda&Marc (10/5): Perfect place - Arriving at the nice B&B, parking in front of the door, we were warmly welcomed bij Martin. Straight away we had a laugh, his nice sense of humor made us laugh more often ;-).
Everything was tip-top: spacious room, with a very nice view over the hills, good shower, warm hospitality, etc. Breakfast was lovely with a lot of choice, topped of with some freshly made cake. Martin had some good advise about walking trips. We ended up doing a very nice walk (the yellow one) which starts in the village, like many others (btw, you can easily walk to the village in about 20 min.).
Overall, we really enjoyed being at Aberconwy House, glad we booked it for 2 days (could have easily stayed longer . . . .)! And Martin: again, really thnx for your help with the keys, much appreciated.

- Karen (9/5): Lovely and welcoming! - Warm and friendly welcome from Martin, Marian, and Pippa and lots of great tips during our stay. Nice location just on the outskirts of Betws-y-coed but very walkable. Spacious room with comfortable beds, nice seating area with a view, and everything clean and thoughtfully appointed. Breakfast is delicious and is served in their lovely, light-filled breakfast room with a view of the birds feeding. There were lots of diet-friendly options (incl. vegan) as well. Martin was especially easy to communicate with in the lead-up to our stay and he sent us off both days with some lovely homemade Welsh cakes to enjoy! Would definitely recommend! We were very pleased. No concerns.

- Geraldine (9/5): Great time. Would love to return - Excellent choice at breakfast. Friendly staff with good knowledge of local area
- Tarik (10/5): M&P are the reason why we will definitely be doing back - Nearly everything, except a poor internet bandwidth which is absolutely out of the hand of the host everything was exceptional, the level of friendliness is absolutely heartwarming. Clean, tidy, accessible, quiet and you have everything you need.
- Glenn (10/5): A gem of a B&B in a beautifull part of the world - Excellent hosts who were extremely helpfull.
Room was spacious and comfortable. Nothing.
- Tamsin (9/5): Fab, would definitely recommend. Spotless room with everything thought of. -
- Karen (10/5): We enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be returning. 10/10 - We stayed in room 6, and the four poster bed was exceptionally comfortable. The accommodation was very peaceful, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, wonderful views from our room, delicious breakfasts, and the hosts were friendly and attentive. Our adult daughter was staying in room 5 during our stay, and was equally very happy with the facilities and hosts.
- Debbie (10/5): Very enjoyable stay. - Is located just outside of the centre of Betsw-y-coed but within walking distance. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable room and a good size. Excellent facillities. Staff very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend. Parking was a little bit cramped as B&B was full but wasn`t really that much of a problem.
