• Luc (8/5): Goed gelegen guesthouse - Vriendelijke mensen. Rustige omgeving met veel groen in de nabijheid. Zeer goed voor korte verblijven. Gunstige prijs kwaliteit. Een kleine koelkast voorzien op de kamer zou mijn beoordeling laten stijgen van 8 naar 9

Le logement est agréable, très propre et sécurisant. Nous nous y sentons tout de suite parfaitement à l’aise. Le seul point complexe est le stationnement

• Patricia (4/5): I would not go there again. - Too expensive for what it was. And I was shocked that the owner would not give us a second key. Oh just leave the door unlocked the owner said. Eventually I received a second key by almost arguing. Not good. The room was too cold. The heater was on a timer. Came on a couple of hours in the morning. So there was a coffee machine above the heater/radiator on a shelf, and its plug was on a wooden plank and that plank was on top of the heater/radiator which for me is a fire hazard when the heating system did come on in the morning for a couple of hours. Also there was no available breakfast at this property.

• Manuela (8/5): Soggiorno molto tranquillo e sicuro a pochi passi dal bus che porta in centro a Bruxelles - La posizione era ottimale per me perchè vicino a dove dovevo recarmi per un evento. L'alloggio è ben servito dal Bus con la fermata proprio davanti a casa. I padroni di casa molto gentili e mi sentivo al sicuro perché loro vivono nello stesso fabbricato. Nessuna critica.
• Andreas (9/5): Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft wählen. Sehr nettes Ehepaar. - Brigitte ist eine wundervolle und herzliche Gastgeberin. Das Zimmer war sauber und für eine Übernachtung völlig ausreichend, da wir den Großteil des Tages sowieso unterwegs waren. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, sich auf dem Zimmer noch einen Kaffee oder Tee zu machen. Gleich um die Ecke gibt es einen Bäcker. Gegenüber ein Minimarkt sowie ein paar Hundert Meter weiter ein größerer Supermarkt. Man kann Restaurants und Cafés fußläufig erreichen. Unmittelbar in der Nähe der Unterkunft befindet sich die Bushaltestelle; mit dem Bus fährt man ca. 40 Minuten in die Innenstadt.

• David & Jeanie (10/5): - It was only about 400 yds from the Forest National Arena, which was the purpose of our visit. The bus stop was only a minute walk away if you wanted to go into the City. Perfect location. Brigette also booked our car into a secure garage as we didn't need it when we were there. She also telephoned a local restaurant to reserve a table for us. Could have been a few more restaurants in the vicinity but we were only there for 2 nights so not a problem.

Nelle immediate vicinanze una buona panetteria/pasticceria per la colazione Abbiamo scelto di soggiornare lì perché vicino al "Forest National", ed anche se non in pieno centro di Bruxelles, siamo riusciti a visitarla, musei compresi, perché la fermata del bus è a soli 50 metri.

• Fiamma (10/5): Great - The room is well-finished and clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The whole house and the surrounding area are very quiet. The position is great to reach Forest National by foot in less than 10min. A bit far from the city center but between bus, tram and train there are plenty of options. Brigitte was very kind and helpful with anticipating a bit the check-in and storing my bags before it, and also with informations about the neighbourhood. Nothing really, I would just add a mid-sized towel. It was not an issue for me, but the stairs are a bit narrow so it might be difficult for people with mobility issues or if you have large bags.

• Marina (10/5): Great Location for Concert Goers - Briggitte met us, showed us the place, and gave us really valuable ideas on what to visit, where to go for dinner, lunch, breakfast. There's great bakery next door. And plenty of restaurants around. Public transport to the center was convenient, we wanted to be close to the concert hall: Forest National.

• Vlad (10/5): City break in Brussels - The host, Brigitte, is a wonderful person, full of energy, positivity and kindness. She helped us with everything that we needed and more. The room was clean and had everything that we needed. The location was perfect for us, situated away from the crowded city center, yet with two buses that can take you there in 30-40 minutes. It was very close to the Forest National arena, where we viewed a show. We didn't try the breakfast, as we had an unpredictable schedule for the morning. I don't have much to say here. The room was a little small for my taste, but I can't say it was a big problem. We'll be back for sure if we return to Brussels.

The bus stop (No48 bus) was just outside the property with an easy 20/25 minute ride into the city. The room was clean and was cleaned daily to a high standard. I would thoroughly recommend this property and would definitely use it again. Nothing.

Brigitte and Alain are great, their B&B is very comfortable and suitable for anyone who wants to visit a concert in Vorst Nationaal and at the same time wants to have a good access to city centre. Bus 48 goes frequently and directly to the centre.

• Andreea_elena (10/5): perfect holiday in a perfect location! - The location is in a quiet area of ​​the city, approximately 30 minutes from the center. There is a bus in front of the location that connects easily with the center or the train station. Near the location there is also a shop open until late (approx. 10 meters away) and a Carrefour about 5 minutes' walk away. The room I rented is in the house of the Brigitte and Alain family. They also live in the same house, but they have 2 rooms for rent. The room was clean, well maintained. I don't know if it was cleaned during the 5 days I stayed because I also left the room in order every day. Brigitte was very nice, she helped me with recommendations, she is very smiling and a pleasant presence. During the stay it was my birthday and she gave me a box of chocolates and wished me happy birthday including in my native language. I didn't have breakfast, so I don't know if it was good or not. It is an area where I think it is easy to find a parking space for those who come by car or rent a car. Brigitte was kind and allowed me to check in earlier than the time indicated on Booking. So, everything was very good! does not exist. Everything was OK! but I will make a mention that has nothing to do with the services offered by this location, but is more of a recommendation for those who have the same type of tourist as me: I travel a lot and often and, as a rule, I take accommodation in one place from where I go by train or bus to other cities every day. This location was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Uccle (the area where the location is). As I said, the area is very beautiful, quiet and safe. But it is far from the Central Station. Maybe it would have been more appropriate for me to stay in the station area because every day I traveled by train to other cities and wasted a lot of time on the bus to and from the station. But, I admit that I also saw that the station area is full of dubious people and it didn't seem like a safe place at all.

The BB is small - just two rooms and we all had breakfast together. If you look for a family like stay go for it. The BB is situated approx 30 mins by bus (no need to change lines) from the city center and the bus stop is virtually in front of it.

• Miriam (10/5): Pleasant interlude en route to Vienna - The warm welcome we received from Brigitte. Our room was clean & comfortable. The beds were very good. The ensuite shower room was well planned with plenty of hot water. It was good to be able to open the window & we had a fan as when we arrived ,it was hot & muggy.Brigitte supplied us with a local map & gave a couple of recommendations for an evening meal.The place we went to was the Spuitened Duvel, an old established auberge a street away. A friendly, traditional lively, popular establishment. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast & conversation with Brigitte who enlightened us about Flemish / Walloon culture & history.She treated us to a tour of her lovely, tranquil & enchanting garden. A non slip shower tray mat would be a useful safety edition.

We really appreciated being able to enjoy the garden for lunch. The location is lovely - in a quiet street with a lot of green areas, public transport and a delicious bakery right next door. The room is nice and well organised, perhaps a little small - we didn't have much space for our suitcase.

The place is scrupulously clean and quiet. Communications from host were perfect. Everything was good, an improvement could be made by towels and pillows being updated - these would be nice a bit softer and larger.
