Guest Reviews
- Maggie (6/5): Was average stay - It was in a good location for what we needed to attend. And staff were really friendly The poor wasn’t operating, the tv antenna would not stay in the socket
- Irene (7/5): -
- Jakub (10/5): - Very nice and clean place!
- Suvethika (8/5): -
- Kris (10/5): - Very good
- Chilveri (10/5): - Cleanliness Aircon was not in the Bedroom
- Qinjing (8/5): -
- Saranya (6/5): - The location was nice and quiet. Booked a room for two nights and after the first night, we went out for the day and we noticed that someone entered our villa, left the lights on, and left the curtains uncovered. We thought maybe they came to do room service but the room was not serviced and it wasn't done. I wonder what they were looking for in My room.
- RDParkinson (8/5): Present value for me next stay. Easy to check in and find your villa - The facilities in the grounds were good. We played tennis. The pool has been drained but it was too cold to use it. It was old but clean. I could smell the cleaning products when I arrived. Very helpful staff.
- Wayne (9/5): -
- Melinda (5/5): -
- Peter (10/5): quick and location made it easy - Close to hospital which was the reason for our visit
Close to shopping and central to our needs
- tanya (1/5): Unacceptable - It was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed at.it wasn’t very clean didn’t supply enough blankets I would rate it a 0 out 10 Every thing
- Guest (2/5): -
- Helen (7/5): Probably wouldn’t be our first choice of a place to stay next visit to ACT. - Quite, good location. Having separate bed room and living space an advantage. Heating effective. The whole complex looks ‘unloved’. Our villa was in serious need of maintenance. It appeared that if something broke it was just removed not replaced. Switches for bed side lights but no lights. Bathroom door handle broken. Only place to put anything in the shower was on the floor. There once was a holder but obviously broke (holes in wall plugged up) and not replaced. No rails to dry towels. Carpet was buckled. Smoke alarm hanging loose. Had to wash cutlery/ crockery prior to use. The gardens once contained shrubs etc, but outside our villa ( and many others) was weeds. The outdoor table located near the four villas in the group was surrounded by weeds. Not inviting. Connecting road ways are full of pot holes.
- Edward (10/5): Brilliant - Everything Nothing
- Henry (6/5): -
- Restetuta (10/5): Wish u can use tiles instead of carpet, - Room are clean Old carpets
- Lynne (8/5): Enjoyable stay. - No breakfast provided
- JOANNE (5/5): It was good, apart from some issues - Staff was very helpful Could of been a bit cleaner,
- Leaha (9/5): -
- Josephine (5/5): -
- Christie (6/5): - The pool and BBQ facilities are fantastic, plenty of space for the kids to play. The room was cleaned poorly, could not use cooking facilities or leave food on the bench due to ants throughout the kitchen.
- Paul (9/5): Affordable stay on outskirts of Canberra city - Affordable and comfy Nothing reallly
- Viacheslav (10/5): -
- John (10/5): Friendly staff. Good value - Handy quiet comfortable All ok
- Allan (5/5): - Ground floor level access - no stairs We had a number of problems ......
- there were no bedside cabinets in the main bedroom
- there were no bedside lights anywhere in the property - we asked reception to provide at least one (as per the online advertising) and he couldn't find any
- the air conditioner controls were 2 metres above the floor, so my wife couldn't turn it on or off
- the entry door wouldn't lock so we had to move to another villa.
- Sujita (7/5): -
- Allan (10/5): -
- E Beyer (7/5): -
- Platt (8/5): -
- Helen (6/5): Basic - It was close to where we needed to be Had to ask for toilet paper and fresh towels
- Craig (7/5): -
- Angela (7/5): Quiet location but room missing basic furniture - The property is in a quiet location. The bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked, and there was a good sized fridge and functional kitchen. Good showerhead too. There was no couch in the room. All the units we’ve stayed at previously in this complex have had a couch. Our friends’ unit had a couch (same configuration unit) but ours was missing (???).
There were no bedside lamps either.
- Hanif (10/5): - Warm welcome and villa cleanliness Nothing
- Seon Jae (8/5): - clean
- Rob (10/5): -
- Michael (10/5): -
- Tamara (6/5): Clean but comfortable cheap stay. - Price was good. It had 2 bedrooms and parking straight out front. Linen and towels were clean. Bathroom was via the kids rooms. Room was not dark. Small rooms, the main bedroom door could not be shut without moving the bed. The pool and basketball court was locked so we couldn’t use them.
- Fowler (7/5): You get what you pay for - Reasonable size for the price The kitchen had no bowls, no spoons, and not really enough items to actually make use of the cooking facility
- Jacob Hungo (10/5): My weekrnd in canberra - How comfortable it was, the shower preasure was awesome, the air conditioning was great after a long day out. The plumbing was a bit loud but once the shower was on you dont hear it
- Danielle (8/5): -
- Ken (9/5): - Room clean & quite comfortable. Area was very quiet with neighbors very private. Driveway terribly potholed. Parking space dangerous with exposed pipework.
- Robert (7/5): - Price Windows had been leaking, wet carpet smell took a while to clear
- Nick (8/5): -
- sonja (6/5): fairly quiet, friendly staff - size of rooms were great You have to walk through children's room to get to bathroom / toilet. Maintenance and repairs were of poor quality. Carpet needs to be re-stretched and cleaned. Premises looked so much better in photos
- Graeme (5/5): - Shower door brocken.....very hard to close......Windows only had thick block out blinds.....could of had lighter curtains to allow light into room while still giving privacy.
- Howard (8/5): -
- Odette (8/5): Good value for money - Basic, no frills cabin that had what we needed in quiet surroundings for a good price.
- Stephanie (9/5): Don't judge a book by the reviews - Was great location and quiet at night. The pool was great on the hot nights.
I was concerned with the negative reviews I had wasted my money but I cannot fault the amenities. It was basic but comfortable and clean.
Don't believe all the reviews Water was a bit cold in peak times in shower.
- Lokesh (5/5): not worth to stay more than a day or two. - bed toilet/bath room leaking, carpet is dirty, house keeping is poor. only given extra towels, not changed or tidy up the bed or soap or body lotion.
- Wayne (7/5): -
- Maximo (7/5): -
- Donna (6/5): Ok - Basic and roomy accommodation. Cockroaches everywhere.
Kitchen could have been cleaner.
- Kellie (9/5): - Clean,friendly and had everything I needed
- Christopher (1/5): -
- Andrei (10/5): + - Great hotel excellent staff. Nothing
- Kathy (1/5): Wouldn't stay again - Pool Mouldy smell in #273, kitchen cupboard off the hinge, chain lock on door, frypan didn't work with the induction cooktop, not enough plates/bowls/cutlery, no exhaust fan in bathroom. No couch in the room either, windows all had locks and needed keys, really hard to open. Ended up switching rooms, next room still didn't have the right cookware or cutlery, not as many locks which was better, open the curtains and you're looking straight into the neighbours cabin or they can see into yours. Fridge stank, tap kept running in the bathroom, so did the toilet which is right next to the bedroom so was hard to sleep with running water all night.
- prakash (8/5): - Good Cooking top is slow to heat
- Loren (6/5): - The location was good. Not too far from shops and attractions. It was quiet and had a good pool and BBQ area. The room was not very comfortable. There was only the dining table to sit at to watch TV, with no couch or comfortable chair. The bed was a bit hard, and the pillows were too thin. It was a bit inconvenient to get to the bathroom through the kids bedroom.
- jon (2/5): Dirty, dusty and black mould in the bathroom - Staff were friendly Cleanliness and kitchen facilities
- Cody (8/5): very good and comfortable - Never had breakfast as we left early morning each day shower head was broken
- Elie (3/5): We have been staying at sundown every year, this year was not the best. But service was good and things like this can ha - Location, and size Toilet was not working, basin was Clogged. Then water came out from the drain on the floor into the bedroom. But staff was lovely and in 5 minutes we were moved. When we moved to our new room, I put the kettle on to make a cup of coffee. The electricity went out. Luckily my husband was an electrician and was able to fix the problem by switching the power on from outside. But this was a problem all night and the next morning. I went to dry my hair and again the power switch off. Even though we only had the air conditioner on. This room was far cleaner than the first room which had mold in the bathroom.
- Kaye (3/5): Freezing - The heating system did not work efficiently. With overnight temperatures of 5 degrees. The unit was very cold. The portable heater did not work at all
- john frank (7/5): - heating
- Aravinda (8/5): - The cabin was very clean, nice place to stay.
- Manisha (6/5): -
- Param S (8/5): -
- Sutton (3/5): Would have been great if it was clean and the cooktop worked - The location but then anywhere is Canberra is good There was hair in the bathroom drawers and in one of the beds between the blanket and top cover. The shower had old soap in the bottom of it and there was rubbish down the side of the cabinet in the bathroom and the whole bathroom was not clean. The cooktop was hopeless , it took a different setting each time it was used to make it hot. There was an induction cooker in the room but it didn’t work at all. There were only 3 chairs for a booking with 4 people and they were extremely uncomfortable and covered in stains as was the floor. The double bed was just like sleeping on the floor as hard as concrete. The whole room was not cleaned very well at all. The heater also didn’t work
- Brenda (8/5): - Nice units all at ground level with parking. Perfect for my 6 day stay. Fly screen door kept coming off tracks. Unable to turn off outside light.
- Lanee (10/5): -
- Lorenzo (2/5): Far too expensive for such poor facilities. - The Parking was uncovered, but close to the accommodation. The hot water was really hot and you didn't have to wait long for it to become hot. The size of the villa was ok. The shower arm kept falling down and spraying water everywhere so the whole bathroom got wet and this was very unacceptable. There was not enough crockery for four people (one bowl and three spoons). Kitchenware was dirty and so was the stove top. The blankets were not clean and there was heaps of stains on the carpet. Very tired facilities in desperate need of an upgrade.
- Kirsten (3/5): -
- vimal (6/5): -
- Joel (9/5): -
- Rosemary (4/5): -
- Karen (10/5): -
- Enisa (10/5): - Nice pool close to the city clean
- Charli (7/5): -
- Guest (9/5): - Good value
- Francisco (7/5): -
- Renee (5/5): - Price Kitchen equipment was very limited/small for a family room. Seating limited. Bathroom was not clean.
- Gemma (7/5): -
- Hayden (10/5): -
- Baby (7/5): - The location and pool Dirty and not enough cutlery and plates
- Mathew (8/5): -
- Margaret (8/5): Once we were aware that the lighting worked when the key accessory was inserted in the thing! - Convienience Probably the fact that the bathroom was only accessible through one of the bedrooms
- Stephen (6/5): -
- Nishan (7/5): -
- ilze (7/5): Good. - You have to put the sign " reception" before entering. We didn't find reception.
- Daniel (8/5): -
- Macenzie (4/5): -
- Mariam (5/5): I didn’t like it - I didn’t really like it I didn’t really like it
- PETER (1/5): Could be better - Cheap accommodation but.... BBQ's didn't work, dirty tissues under the bed from previous people, no room service - ran out of toilet paper, 3 chairs in a 4 bed villa. Very rundown & maintenance is a low priority, for example curtains stuck to windows, low standard of cleaning beyond the basics.
- nitin (4/5): Just short of value for money - Pool Cleanliness
- Seng Fei (7/5): - Spacious cabin. Comfortable. Surrounding area, basically nothing.
- April (7/5): - Quiet location, friendly staff. No smart TV, no broom to keep floor clean, no Frying pan.
German cockoroches in kettle base and behind microwave,
Bathroom fan did not work, "quilt' was stanned and dirty.
For long stays need to bring own kitchen supplies, toilet paper, tea, coffe, garnage bags, sugar salt and pepper as there is a charge if need more items.
Room is not serviced.
- Jan (10/5): - Super sted
