- Paul (3/5): If you value sleep and value for money avoid this hotel and choose the numerous similar places. - Beds were adequate The location of this hotel within the city is ideal, it is next to the city center, and walking tracks along the river. Unfortunately, the location of the hotel is situated between a noisy hotel and a truck parking stop, where trucks are allowed to park between 7PM and 7AM. This means that on a Saturday you may hear other guests departing, as some tend to accelerate briskly when leaving the car park and leaving rubber. Early in the morning (typically 6AM) you will truck startup which you will hear if you are in a room near the road. If sleep is paramount, it is advisable to try elsewhere. The room was also outdated and needs a major improvement to keep it up to modern standards. The carpark is also brightly lit, and the room I was in didn't have black out curtains, meaning the room was lit up near the window. The TV is also in an elevated positions (which isn't bad), but unfortunately the TV had a massive white light while it was in sleep mode, further increasing the light. Easily fixed by turning the tv off at the switch but is indicative of the thought that goes into the outdated rooms. The rate here (at least on booking.com like for like rooms) was more expensive than their counterparts. Booking.com won't be my primary point of call for such reservations in the future.

- Laura (6/5): - Central location in town, staff friendly and helpful. The value was okay. The bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was adequately appointed and clean. Easy swipe card access. Beware on Fri/Sat night - it's behind the pub with loud music. Bring ear plugs if you want an early night! Facilities are in desperate need of an update! Cleaners need to vacuum behind the table acting as a bedside, and when I turned the fan on, it was snowing dust!

The staff in the pub would not give me a key to my room until 2pm even though i didn't want to get into the room. I was heading to a friend's 50th and wasn't sure I would make it back later to get the key. Pretty poor service.

- Rose (4/5): Will not stay here again - The hotels was old but very clean. The noise was dreadful. I am unable to use stairs at present so requested a ground floor room and they willingly supplied that as there is no lift. However, I was put in a room between the stairs to the upper level which meant I could not park outside my room and heard every person going up and down the stairs at all hours. This hotel is also behind a pub so the noise from there was loud as well as patrons cut through the hotel carpark.

- DELAWYN (5/5): Passable - Location is good within walking distance to Main Town centre. Arrived and the room did not have enough towels for all of us. The tissues box was not topped uo and there were not enough soap/shampoo satchets in the room. Toilet/Bathroom light was not working - all these items were mentioned to receptionist as were were staying for two nights. However, the toilet/bathroom light was not fixed until we departed. Received more towels and sopa etc after asking for these.

- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - We always stay here convenient and well equipped for an overnight stay The bathroom had some mould issues going on which I brought to the attention of management who informed me the bathrooms are getting a make over (quite outdated) however the mould is a housekeeping issue not an outdated one
