A rude and scary night manager claims there was no booking, as I couldn't find the room and asked directions (the correct key was in the night box for me to collect however. Why, if no booking??) I had to call the police(!) and keep my camera on him to avoid physical assault for defending my rights and paid booking - sole female traveller, middle of the night, he flatly denied i'd even booked a room despite bank and booking.com evidence shown etc!! (Later that day, a police complaint made, and some knucklehead also tries (and fails) to cackhandedly and secretly hide and delete the original booking. Truly stupid icing on the cake.) ...Wolf Creek Wangaratta. Complaints with appropriate authorities, action pending. -10,000/10. See above.

Most frustratingly, we received no room service or cleaning for two consecutive days. To top it off, when we tried to address these issues, the manager was quite rude and unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you value basic hospitality.

It would have been a lovely stay had it not been for the negative issues. Other guests smoking and drinking outside my room door until 1:30am, keeping me awake. The room was filled with the smell of cigarette smoke (non-smoker here) due to the door being inadequately sealed, and poor room ventilation.
