• Lauren (8/5): - Room was very spacious and very comfy bed. Some noise from the pub next door but that went quiet early and was not disturbing for sleep. Coat hangers could do with a clean (built up dust) and there was no iron to go with the ironing board, however, the hair drier got the wrinkles out so I didn't report the missing iron.

• Wendy (10/5): Other than the person smoking near our accommodation it was excellent - Good location, room was clean and comfortable Unsure if it was a cleaner or a person staying at the motel around 7.15am but they were sitting up the corridor smoking and the smoke and smell was disgusting as it was floating down to the room that we were in.

• Gemma (9/5): - The staff are lovely, the beds are very comfortable, and the place is clean. It is quiet and easily accessible. It is close to tourist amenities. For me, it is close to work so an easy pick. It is a comfortable place in an exceptionally good location. A little dusty in some spaces (corners), no cutlery or plates, no wine glasses, and the lighting was a bit dim - wall lights only.

• Kelly (4/5): Even wit the great location, I would not say there again. - The location of the property was great. They came and pull the bed up daily, removed rubbish and replaced toilet paper. They were able to accommodate a later checkout on request. The car parking was not appropriate and I was unable to park my car in the allocated park as my medium size car could not fit with a car either side. When the car park is full I am not sure how you would exit without driving backwards and the drive way is extremely steep and only big enough for 1 car. The room had a microwave and kettle but only mugs and teaspoons. There needed to be plates and bowls and all cutlery. Not anything to wash these to use again. I also didn’t sleep much as we were on the bottom which was at ground level and the windows were in the main road. There was no blackout blinds so we had every car light throughout the night shine into the room which wasn’t appropriate, especially with a bed against the window.

• Robyn (8/5): Great - We were in room 7, away from the street, so no noise, room was large, little out date and could do with a bit of a touch up, but suits us ,,as pub next door for meals and Macca`s across the road, what more do you need could do with plates and cutlery, as you have a toaster and microwave, no utensils for buttering your toast on ..but not a complaint as we know to bring our own

• Peter (9/5): A really excellent budget visit with extremely helpful and pleasant staff - We arrived 4 hours earlier than advised, but the staff still allowed us to check in early for which was hugely appreciated. Way more appliances in the room than I expected including microwave and great ironing facilities. Well within walking distance of everything we needed to do. Comfortable beds. There is a pub next door which on the Saturday night we stayed was quite noisy but our room remained quiet. As an older motel, certain design aspects may not meet current expectations. For instance it was a little difficult to access the power point to plug in a phone charger. The shower recess has a fairly steep surface. Without a car, room access is via a shared sloping drive with no walkway. I only mention these factors as information for prospective guests with mobility issues, they did not adversely affect our particular stay at all and I would very happily book here again.
• Les (8/5): Comfortable stay in historic Bakery Hill. - Spacious room, comfy bed. Right next to a pub and some local eateries. Not walkable to central Ballarat, need to drive. In hindsight I would have paid more for accomodation in the CBD. Tight parking. Room looks very tired.

• Rhonda (8/5): Wil stay again, when we travel back to victoria. - We used to live in victoria and always stayed in this motel throughout the years. When we fly back we continue to stay here, as it has always been reliable and consistant. Although it is an older motel, the beds are very comfortable with fresh linen, and the rooms are spacious, with all the neccessities. We love staying here. The staff are obliging, and theres a mcdonalds ,hotel and cafe next door. Everything we needed was there, so there was nothing we didnt like.
