• Claire (9/5): Great - going back next year for the Goondiwindi Picnic Races. - Comfortable and well appointed family room. Very clean and tidy. Had everything we needed. Powerpoints by the bed would be handy, and bigger coffee/tea cups would be great. Maybe bedside lamps instead of bright overhead lighting over the bed.

Coffee was amazing and breakfast was delicious and served quickly. The food/dining place was lovely and my daughter (13months) was fascinated by the water feature ‘wall/window’ Highly recommend stay here. Mine was for an overnight stop on my way through and I would stop again even if just for the coffee 😂🫶🏼

• Jen (2/5): Spoke to Receptionist next day to inform them and hoping some kind of compensation would be offered as I regularly use t - The air conditioner stopped working throughout a hot evening. Tried to contact Reception twice and no answer at 1230am left a message. Had nil reply. Had a long drive the next day and lack of essential sleep didn’t help.

The room was very light at night - must have been lights outside the room / in the car park.

• Loveroadtrips (10/5): Very clean and comfortable room - This was a very good sized room and was the cleanest motel room I have ever been in! Proven by no sneezing and I have a big dust allergy! Bed was very comfortable. Lady in reception was very friendly and helpful. Also there was undercover car parking.

My husband had a dip in the pool and enjoyed that (he was the only one in the pool) The rooms were all booked out but it was quiet there. We had to wait for a while before our breakfast order was taken and it took a while to get our breakfast. I guess they were short staffed on the morning we were there.

We had on the coldest setting yet the room remained uncomfortable. Was reset by staff however that did not help. As aircon was so poor we decided we would have a swim to cool down only to find the gates locked over an hour before the stated closing time

• Harry (8/5): A well-located, clean and comfortable motel with a nice restaurant offering a good menu. - The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We were going to eat out at a local hotel but decided to stay in instead, and we’re glad we did. The menu had a good selection, complemented by a nice choice of wines. I had a steak cooked to my perfection, blue, and it was very tasty. Probably explains why there were locals dining there as well. Hardly anything on the website mentions the Cascade restaurant or its dinner and breakfast menu. Highlighting it more would be great, as the ambiance is lovely with the cascading water feature and cathedral-like dome.

Great staff. - Vry clean and comfortable room, very helpful and welcoming staff, good restaurant which was is very handy after a long drive. The water wall in the restaurant and the giant rock at the entrance are great features. We would stay again. Just a touch pricey but it is probably justifiable to maintain standards and provide the services.
