John (10/5): My hotel of choice next time I have a stay in Monroe LA. - It was clean and near Sam’s. My room wasn’t available upon arrival over 2 hours of 3pm check/in time, however the desk clerk problem solved and overcame the issue.
Maya (7/5): Overall I enjoyed my stay, there was only one inconvienience and a minor annoyance. - I liked the breakfast options. I loved the lemon poppy seed scones. Most of everything at the hotel was good. One of the elevators closes too fast. The room key stopped working mid-stay.

Rochelle (8/5): - Only complaint was housekeeping kept skipping our room. We had to ask twice for cleaning and additional towels during our stay. The first time, we went down to the front desk who came up and brought us more towels and the second time we asked, we spoke to staff member on the floor who sent someone up, we got the additional towels but beds weren't made.

The breakfast didn’t match the room price! The smell. At times I thought it was the Paper Mill, when I went outside the smell wasn’t in the air. I believe it was the hotel plumbing. I also didn’t like the traveling workers to be allowed to grill in the parking lot. The charcoal smell spread throughout the room.

Navigate58382341976 (10/5): Thanksgiving joy - The location was great easy access to I 20,the mall, and restaurants. Cynthia in the kitchen was very hospitable, friendly and accommodating. She delivered service with a smile. you could tell she had a heart for Service. Tara at the front desk honored my request instantly it was overall a great experience.
jamescaje (10/5): Quick stop before getting back on the road - We stayed here as we were traveling across the US and stopped here mainly due the reviews on here. We traveled an extra hour on our day to get to Monroe due to concerning reviews in other places of LA. This hotel was extremely clean, great value and while I booked the cheapest king size room, it was incredibly spacious, great smart TV, clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was a complete hot breakfast (omelets, waffles) and the evening and morning staff were extremely kind and helpful. The location is a little blah (as in a Sams Club is RIGHT there, not a long of restaurants very close, etc) but for us this was a place to shower, sleep and get back on the road.

KJDC19 (6/5): OK Spot right off the Interstate - Travelling as a family of four we stayed 1 night enroute to Vicksburg to see the historic sites. Situated on the far northeast side of Monroe close to the airport and Sam's Club directly off I-20 highway this is a pretty standard Hampton location with all of the amenities and frills (or lack thereof) you would expect. Breakfast was standard fare and average. The hotel staff was helpful and we are very thankful for their assistance with mailing us back a stuffed toy that was left behind by one of our daughters!

srjh (8/5): Thanks to the daytime staff for your hospitality - While our initial impression wasn't great (the desk clerk wasn't particularly friendly), things got better. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a quick overnight stay. The breakfast was quite good and every employee we encountered on the day shift was super friendly and welcoming. We'd stay here again if passing this way.
ISC624 (6/5): Average Hotel, Less Than Desirable Location - We only stayed one night, and this was an average Hampton Inn & Suites. The room was clean, and well maintained. The free breakfast was the standard fare. The downside was the location. We had to drive west of our location to find a restaurant that wasn't part of a chain or in a rundown area. If Hilton is your go-to brand, there's a Hampton Inn west of this one.

That was a first! The room was clean and functional. No problems during our quick one-night stay. Would probably stay here again if traveling with pets.

Eura Dell (10/5): - There wasn’t anything to do at the hotel. There wasn’t a restaurant or bar. There was a self serve breakfast area, which was good. The room was equipped with everything and that was good. They didn’t have dresser drawers, only basket-like containers to store my belongings.

Porsche (5/5): The hotel is in a okay location that is close to shopping centers and food. I was pleased with the staff interaction wit - There was an indoor heated pool. The location is 5-8 minutes from Ouachita Park where we was headed every day. The room was stuffy. The room did not smell clean and smells. The air only works half of the day. The shower pressure is low. The breakfast was okay but not many choices.

We were traveling for all-star baseball and went between games to see if we could check-in and was accommodated to check-in early which was so nice. Breakfast was great. We’ve stayed in many hotels and this was this first time we’ve ever had homemade grits for breakfast which was a change and great! Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Also, Ms Diane served a wonderful breakfast with delicious omelets, grits, muffins and so much more! It was off an odd side street that looked like a one-way. We missed our turn on it in the dark because it was not striped or well lit from the interstate.

Special shout out to Ms. Diane... Pool area was clean and very well maintained--indoor pool! Guest service was also great! Beds were super comfy. Overall an exceptional stay. I will definitely visit again ☺️ Location wasn't the easiest to find. The GPS took us elsewhere. And it wasn't near many food places without getting back on the interstate.
