Christian and the team were able to help us make arrangements for a fabulous trip to Etna and a fascinating wine tasting, with a wonderful lunch. • Angela (10/5): Wonderful place to enjoy Etna and the region - This place is absolutely wonderful! The garden is really well kept, with lemon trees and hundreds of rose bushes all around. The swimming pool is gorgeous and in perfect condition, and so were the beds around the pool. The staff was super nice, friendly, and helpful. Food was great!! The room is spacious and comfortable and it smells amazing when you walk in. The view of mount Etna is simply incredible and you can enjoy it from the swimming pool, the outdoor tables of the restaurant, and the room. Every morning I'd say the staff cleaning absolutely everything around the pool, all tables, chairs, etc. This is a true gem, especially considering the price! Nothing.

• Michael Hummel (9/5): Exklusives Hotel mit schönstem Pool Siziliens - Spektakulärer Blick und phänomenaler Pool, sehr schön angelegt. Alleine schon die hunderten Zitronenbäume auf dem Gelände sind Urlaubsfeeling pur. Auch die Zimmer sind sehr schön und modern, wenn auch etwas nüchtern. Restaurant sehr leckeres Essen, aber hochpreisig. Schönes Frühstück. Eigener Parkplatz mit abgesperrtem Tor. Schöner kleiner und schattiger Kinderspielplatz. Eierspeisen werden frisch und kostenfrei zubereitet, aber Pancakes kosten 5€? Unsinnig und nicht nachvollziehbar, aber immerhin bei Bestellung kommuniziert. Fußläufig kommt man nirgends hin, obwohl es auch nicht abgeschieden im nirgendwo liegt. Es ist einfach mitten in einem gesichtslosen Siedlungsgebiet - wovon man im Hotel aber nichts mitbekommt.

• Emma (9/5): Loved our stay! - We really enjoyed our stay at Ramo d’Aria during our roadtrip through Sicily. Every member of staff was extremely friendly and helpful before and throughout our stay, which really made a difference when trying to make the most of our days there. We also dined at the restaurant twice (once regular service and once for pizza night) and the food and service were of excellent both times. This level of quality was also present at breakfast, and it was nice there was variety in what was served every morning. The hotel was situated well for us as we wanted easy access to main roads for exploring the area. We got this hotel recommended to us by friends and we would certainly recommend this to other people as well!

Purtroppo il clima non ci ha permesso di usufruire della bella piscina anch'essa immersa nella tranquillità. La cena è stata squisita, preparata con prodotti genuini, le porzioni giuste ed i prezzi onesti. Stesso dicasi per la colazione, genuina, varia e con prodotti freschi e locali. letto e cuscini un po' duretti

Die Qualität des Abendessens im Restaurant ist wirklich sehr gut - eher gehobene Küche (insofern auch teurer als in lokalen Restaurants, aber preislich für die Qualität völlig angemessen). Zudem schaut man vom Restaurant direkt auf den Etna. Fußläufig gibt es nicht viel zu erkunden, daher hier einen leichten Abzug für die Lage. Allerdings ist man mit dem Auto zentral angebunden und schnell auf der Autostrada Richtung Catania, Etna, Taormina etc. Privatparkplätze sind direkt auf dem Gelände des Hotels. Wir würden es auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Der Ort selber ist leider nicht wirklich zu empfehlen, so dass man zu Fuß wenig machen kann.

Alhoewel het hotel nog niet oud is, zijn sommige items op de kamers al wel aardig aan het verslijten. Daarnaast, buiten de schuld van het hotel om, is het dorpje zelf en vooral de locatie niet prettig. Je hebt eigenlijk overal een auto voor nodig.

The host was able to arrange a late-night excursion to Mount Etna, as a previously booked excursion was canceled at the last minute by the tour operator itself. A beautiful, spacious, and clean room, and a fantastic breakfast. We had a wonderful breakfast outside on the terrace. No negative points.

• Karen (8/5): One of the best hotels we stayed at during the trip - Breakfast was nice. There were nice choices. The property was so beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It looked luxurious and a really good value compared to where some friends were staying. The only thing is you need a car. It was a bit out of the way but so private and it was worth it for us.
• Charlotte (9/5): Absolute bliss!!! - Peaceful tranquility - absolutely perfect spot to relax, eat, unwind. We stayed for 6 nights, so we took full advantage of the pool on a couple of days. It is immaculately clean, from the room to pool side - and everything appears to run like clockwork. We couldn’t have faltered any service that we received - all of the staff were great. First night dinner the chef wasn’t there so it was pizza dinner only, which we actually really enjoyed. Special mention to Bruno who kindly took care of us after we had a fault in the aircon which lasted a couple of days. A fabulous stay and if you can pay to stay for another night, do it. We read a lot of reviews about the location and difficulty if you don’t have a car. Personally this wasn’t a negative for us - the train station is within 20/25 minutes walk and meant we could head to Catania and Taormina. We used the hotel bikes and went on two rides whilst we were there - easy to navigate and the roads are in rideable condition.

• T. (9/5): Een prachtig hotel vlakbij de Etna - Giarre is niet echt een hele leuke plaats. De reden waarom wij deze plek uitgekozen hebben was omdat het redelijk op de route ligt naar de luchthaven Catania. Het is een prachtig hotel, erg modern. Alles is zeer goed verzorgd. Het ontbijt uitstekend, diner ook aan te bevelen en het zwembad heerlijk met lekkere ligstoelen. De kamer was zeer verzorgd, bed erg lekker en een goede badkamer alhoewel de douche erg klein is. Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk en vooral Christian was erg gastvrij. Op de dag van ons vertrek moesten wij vroeg weg en konden dus niet ontbijten. Er werd heel lief een tas met ontbijt aan ons meegegeven. Dat is nog eens service! Dit is meer een smaakkwestie maar wij vonden de eetzaal niet heel erg gezellig.
• Teodor (9/5): - comfortable, quiet, a little far from nice restaurants. A car is needed. The staff is polite and responsive The room is a little worn out but overall it is good.
• Tim (9/5): - Proper, mooi zwembad, zicht op Etna, rustige omgeving. Je hoort veel lawaai op de gang en van andere kamers. Locatie is eerder afgelegen, auto is noodzakelijk. Door verschillende redenen konden we helaas niet gebruik maken van het restaurant.
• Kristian (9/5): - Et utmerket sted for å slappe av og nyte freden. Samtidig er beliggenheten perfekt for utforsking av Etna området. Hotellet ligger i et rolig boligstrøk med stor avstand til sentrum, og man trenger bil for å komme rundt i området.
• Angela (10/5): Mooi hotel met fijn zwembad en restaurant - Heel mooi zwembad en fijn ontbijt. Het eten is ook goed, zowel diner als lunch. Vanuit hier kan je naar de Etna. Het bed was erg hard. Je moet ook echt wel reserveren voor het restaurant anders geen tafel.
• Joanna (10/5): A excellent stay - Friendly staff, nice breakfast, beautiful pool with view of Mt Etna. General ambience was great. Very relaxing. Can’t think of anything.
• Hanna (8/5): Schöne Unterkunft mit Verbesserungspotential - Der Pool und der Ausblick auf den Etna sind sehr schön. Auch ist das Hotel ein guter Ausgangspunkt um Ausflüge zu machen. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich. Die Preise im Restaurant sind teuer und die Frühstücksauswahl war nicht wirklich groß (kaum Auswahl für Vegetarier). Allgemein gibt es in der Hotelanlage einige Dinge die in die Jahre gekommen sind und es wäre eine Sanierung notwendig (Zimmer, Pool-Möbel,...)

• Susen (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft, zum Wohlfühlen, wenn man mit weniger Zimmerkonfort auskommen kann! Grundsätzlich empfehlenswert! - Der Pool ist definitiv ein Highlight. Lädt zum Relaxen ein! Die Räumlichkeiten sind gepflegt und modern! Alles ist sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr sehr aufmerksam und leistet stets einen tollen Job! Sie sind alle extrem hilfsbereit und jeder Wunsch wird er füllt! Zimmer sind leider etwas unpraktisch eingerichtet. Es fehlt die Möglichkeit etwas zu hängen. Auch fehlt in den normalen Zimmern ein Schrank oder zumindest Ablageplatz. Die Bäder sind dafür toll geräumig und bieten viel Platz. Die Suite, die ich kennengelernt habe, verfügt aber über einen Schrank dafür sind einige Stockflecken vorhanden. Offensichtlich ein Wasserschaden! Die Flecken sind im Bad und im Zimmer. Sollte dringend renoviert werden!
• Olivier (10/5): - Un merveilleux séjour. L’hôtel est superbe, les chambres sont spacieuses. Le personnel est très agréable et les petit-déjeuners sympathiques. Pour le souper, le restaurant de l’hôtel est aussi fantastique. Je recommande chaudement cet établissement.
• Addie (10/5): - The property is located in the most beautiful spot with incredible views of Mount Etna. The staff were incredible and extremely helpful. The hotel is easy to get to by taxi or train from the airport. The food was delicious and fresh. Would highly recommend!!
