My husband and I came up to visit friends and catch the color change, and when the day was done, it was nice to come “home” and just relax. Whoever owns this unit, we thank you for making this stay a memorable one.

- Conni (8/5): - Beautiful property. However, the fireplace did not work in our unit and we left messages with the front desk, but never received a return call. Also, our property was on the first floor however, the first floor which meant taking an elevator down one level, walking down the hallway and then we had to lug our luggage up five steps to get to our condo. This information was not communicated in the details of the room online.
- charles (6/5): - Room just was showing its age. Lightbulbs were not functioning. Toilet wobbled. Living area and kitchen were narrow and crowded.
- Andy (6/5): - Check in was miserable. Room wasn't ready for over 2 hours after check-in time. Impacted plans because we couldn't get in our room. Communication on delays after arriving were non existent. Front my desk staff had no idea when room would be ready. We arrived early, understandably our room wasn't ready, but were given no indication the room would not be ready until well after check-in time. Decided to wait. Checked back at front desk 15 minutes after check-in time, 1.5 hours after we arrived. Staff was thinking room would be ready 15 or 20 minutes later. An hour and 15 minutes later, 1.5 hours after check-in time and almost 3 hours after we arrived the room still wasn't ready and the staff still had no idea when it would be. We knew for a fact that multiple rooms of our type were clean but not checked in yet. My friend and I had to leave for an event and our wives had to stay and continue to wait. We were offered "free" drink tokens as compensation which was insulting. Especially when we read the tokens and saw they weren't free. We had to buy a drink to get the free drink. Room was eventually ready over 2 hours after check-in time and 3.5+ hours after arrival. No true apology for the significant delay. Staff didn't seem to care they ruined the firstv night of our vacation. They knew we were there waiting and did nothing to get us in our room. The resort was nice but the check-in process was horrendous and the management should be ashamed by how they treat their guests.

- Lori (8/5): - It was good except for on the 1st night we went to hot tub in our complex & a man wearing only a towel was sitting on edge of hot tub in the dark when we walked in... He preceded to show his junk to me while others were in the sauna & I was sitting at a table. Very uncomfortable & we left right away. This was around 9:00pm.
- Jeanne (10/5): Peaceful and beautiful lake views - We liked the peace and quiet and the restaurant here was great. Also good walking paths and views of the lake.
- Allan (8/5): Heat controls inoperative - Just staying 2 nights, I didn’t want to unpack my suitcase. There was no room in the bedroom for it, so I used 2 dining area chairs to support and hold it. Was unable to use the 2 controllers to change the room temperature. Did not complain about it because it was a minor issue.

- Brett (4/5): - Very scenic property that looks like a great place to stay. However, the customer service is horrible. First they gave me a room that smelled HEAVILY of fresh smoke. Took me three hours until at 11pm they finally offered us a different room. Then the next afternoon demanded we had to be out of the room without a warning and forced us into our third room in 24 hours causing us to be late for a wedding. Staff was never apologetic, and tried acting like this wasn’t their problem.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Worth a stay - Overall we were pleased with our stay at the Landmark. It is well located and reasonably priced for what it is. The decor is dated and in need of an update, but it is clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and we made good use of the amenities. During our stay one of the pools was inoperable for a time and the waking path was inaccessible due to storm damage. However, the complex was fairly vacant and relatively quiet. Perhaps for this reason the rules were not strictly enforced, which depending on your expectations can be a + or -. For example, we saw a host of children in the pool during "adult only" late hours. On the other hand, we were able to quickly relax and feel at ease because there was a lack of rigidity to the place which made it feel more organic and welcoming. My teenage children enjoyed the ability to wander about the grounds and access amenities without constant adult supervision. I don't know if the walking path provides access to town but some guests walked, jogged or biked on the main road just off the property, which has no shoulder, some curves, and cars are going around 45 mph as they pass by: it's not a particularly long road to town, but we chose to drive just the same. I suspect our experience benefitted from being off season, but I would return to Landmark again and would recommend with the caveats I noted.

- Sarah (4/5): - We were incredibly dissappointed in this property. Pictures look amazing, and the view cant be beat, but it is an old property with small units. We had 1 bedroom with a loft. Tge bedroom was so small, our luggage had to be in the living room. There was not a spave large enough to open a carry on sized suitcase. Units were incredibly hot, even with AC on, had to sleep with the bedroom door open. Upstairs loft was almost miserable for my 20-something daughters. Im glad we were only there 2 nights and another (less expensive, but much better, actually) resort the other 4 nights. Also - wi-fi was terrible. Not a huge bigggie on vavation but we couldn't even get google to load while on property. Overall, very disappointing for the cost. August 2025

- Gloria (8/5): - I liked our wooded view. It was very peaceful and quiet. The outdoor pools were so full we didn't use either. The carpeting in the building (Chart House) was in need of cleaning. Housekeepers could have been friendlier. Didn't like seeing piles of pool towels outside individual rooms.

Lighted pathways that are easy to travel. A condo unit that was well stocked, very nice, and comfortable. Friendly staff and easy check in/check out.

- Katherine (10/5): July 4th in Door Co. - We always stay at the Landmark when we go to DoCo and rent a condo. The weather was cooler so didn't get to use the pools but the hot tub in our building was great. We did not have a good experience at the Carrington Restaurant located on the property. Food was fine but the service was poor - took 50 minutes to get our food when the waitstaff said multiple times it would be a few minutes. Egg Harbor had 2 days of activities for the 4th of July so it made our stay very enjoyable. Bailey's Harbor had great fireworks too.

- Kristina (10/5): - First time staying at the Landmark. It was an absolute dream. There is not a more gorgeous view in all of Door County. Loved the outdoor pool and indoor pools. The staff was all very kind and attentive. The kids really enjoyed the park, pickleball, and walking trails. We especially loved the location. It’s in the heart of everything. I do think a tiki bar by pool would be a big hit but we packed a cooler and that worked out fine also. Will be back for sure!

- Lisa (6/5): - Great view! The room was big, but the bathroom was terrible. The shower didn't work at all, and the bathroom was incredibly small for the amount of money. I have stayed at less expensive hotels and had large bathrooms where the shower actually works, and the bathroom sink drains. The manager explained to me that the shower needs a how-to tutorial on how to work it. A shower should just be able to turn on and have water pressure. If you are expecting luxury or above average accommodations, do not waste your money. Also, the room and hallways smell extremely musty. On a positive note, the view, pool, kitchen and fireplace were nice very nice. I wish the bathroom functioned and there wasn't a smell. If those were fixed, I would stay again.

- Kelly (10/5): - We keep coming back to Landmark because we love it so much. The views are incredible. Location is great, close enough to Egg Harbor but out of the direct hustle and bustle. Property is so peaceful. We use the walking trails, tennis courts, playground, shuffleboard, and love walking over to pickup food at the restaurant. My only suggestion for management would be to start replacing condo doors with solid doors for soundproofing. But overall, the general theme is relaxation (haven't experienced anyone up late being noisy) so noise isn't a deterrent for us.

- William (10/5): - We've been to Door County many times in the past, but this was our first stay at Landmark Resort. We were pleasantly surprised. It's not on the lake/bay but on a bluff overlooking Green Bay with sunset views that are incredible. The resort has been there quite a few years, but it is well maintained and in very good condition. Our rooms were perfect for our stay and included a small kitchen so we could eat simple meals without going out to eat three times a day. We'll be back!

- tyler (4/5): - The Landmark staff were friendly, the grounds well kept, and the room was clean aside from a a press on fingernail that I stepped on when I walked around my side of the bed. There were a lot of fruit flies in the bathroom sink and the room smelled of stale smoke even though we stayed in a “non-smoking” room. The furniture was outdated and you sank 2-6 inches when you sat in the chairs. The Carrington had friendly staff, but cold, tasteless food. Would not recommend, and we won’t stay at the Landmark again.
- Peter (10/5): - I have been going to Door County off and on for 30 years. I had never stayed in Egg Harbor, thus had not stayed at the Landmark before. My wife and I were very surprised at the resort and the accomodations. The room, we had, was sapcious and well furnished. There is a "main" area, which included the kitchen and living room. The bedroom was off that room and very comfortable beds. The property has 4 main "lodges", where were in the Chart House. This is more towards the woods and is fairly quiet and secluded. The other lodges had Bay access overlooking a wooded bluff. They looked nice. There is indoor pool and hot tub (it was nice and hot, too). The facilities is a 3 minute drive to Egg Harbor. If you know Door County, each little town is 5~10 minutes from each other. I highly recommend this resort
- Danielle (8/5): - Very nice resort. Pool was great. Views were awesome. Rooms were clean. Only downside the rooms are pretty small, was too tight for a pack and play and for that reason will have to go elsewhere next time. It fit, but with not much more room in bedroom to walk. Could be walkable to town ~20 min, but we just drove everywhere. Staff was polite and helpful. I would recommend to others

Would go back again.! The only complaint I have is that I wished there was a ramp to use the luggage trolley to our room, we had to stop at the end of the stairs and carry the rest to our room. Maybe a map of the property to know were trails are or what they all had to offer during our stay.

We had some issues with all of the construction on Hwy. 42 but that was not something the resort could do anything about. They were nice enough to let us know about the construction and give us directions to get to the resort around the construction. We would consider staying there again should we go back to Door Cty. in the future

- Verified traveler (8/5): Peaceful Getaway - Beautiful property! Room size and beds were great! Clean with well stocked kitchen. Only draw back was there is only one indoor pool and it’s in another building. Normally not an issue except during bad weather and you have small kids. Pool was pretty crowded and chemicals were a little strong so didn’t use it much. There is a good size whirlpool in every building tho which turned out great!
