• Patrick (10/5): Amazing experience in heart of Phnom Penh - treat yourself! - One of the best places we have stayed in Asia. Staff were amazing, the whole building is stunning. We treated ourselves to a private pool room and, while expensive by Cambodian standards, it was worth every penny. Private, refreshing and clean. Staff also kindly arranged a lovely welcome display for our anniversary. Location was great - not far from main attractions and cool places to explore like Bassac Lane. Breakfast was really tasty (both Asian and Western options) and plentiful. Two really nice pools (we preferred the relaxed nature of the Sun Pool). We will definitely return. Wish we could have stayed for longer.

La habitación está bien, el baño es un poco pequeño, pero la zona exterior y la piscina son increíbles. El personal es muy amable. El restaurante al lado de la piscina es muy agradable. Sirven un desayuno a la carta muy bueno y puedes pedir todo lo que quieras. No hay un armario o una estantería para organizar ropa y demás. Los enchufes están debajo del escritorio, si quieres utilizar el calentador de agua tienes que meterte debajo del escritorio. En la repisa donde esta el calentador, las tazas, etc. no hay enchufe.

• June (10/5): A peaceful, green retreat in the heart of Phnom Penh - In Phnom Penh’s extremely hot May weather, this hotel was a quiet, green oasis. The grounds and pools are particularly lovely and if you like a hotel with charm and character, this is your type of place. Our room was in the old original house and was comfortable and spacioous. The breakfasts were great and in fact the food, service and setting were so nice that we had several meals here too. We didn’t want to leave.

• Abigail (10/5): My favourite hotel of the trip - a gem of a place to stay - I LOVED this hotel. It is absolutely beautiful, with two swimming pools each surrounded by lovely plants and lighting. Breakfast is served overlooking one pool and the other is tucked away at the back. The grounds are immaculately kept and there are interesting art pieces all around. The hotel is a veritable oasis as Phnom Penh is very hot in May but the hotel feels serene and cool. Our room was very large and had 3 windows with fan and air conditioning all working well. Breakfast was to order but came very quickly with a wide range of both Asian and Western dishes and vegetarian/vegan options. The staff cannot do enough for you and booked various activities for us. Nothing.

• Pozniak (10/5): relaxing sanctury great location - We had a wonderful stay at the Pavilion Hotel. It truly felt like a peaceful sanctuary in the middle of the city. The restaurant staff each morning at breakfast were so lovely and welcoming, and Mey always made us feel especially looked after. The reception staff in the afternoons were also incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. We also enjoyed a beautiful massage during our visit, which added to the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special — we would definitely return. nothing

• Stella (7/5): Pleasant enough hotel. Lovely dining/ pool area. Great location. - Quirky charm, location. Wait staff were attentive. Front desk staff seemed uninterested. We traveled around Cambodia for 2+ weeks, staying in comparable hotels, before we arrived at Pavilion. We were spoiled by being wished a good day when we departed for a tour, greeted upon our return, etc. Seems a small thing, but friendliness is what we consider when we think about returning somewhere.

• Theboymeasures (10/5): Beautiful vintage stay - I had last stayed here twenty years ago and was excited to return having very fond memories from my previous trip. I was delighted to find that nothing had changed it was still utterly charming, discreet and understated style that combined a vintage eye with modern facilties. My room was huge and comfy with a massive four poster bed, and the hotel's ambience is wonderful with two beautiful pools and lots of vintage touches. The staff also really lovely as well. The hotel location is great on a side street that's a few minutes from the main palace and the river and close to some very nice restuarants. Look forward to my next stay, I hope it can be for longer and not take 20 years next time!!

• Timothy (10/5): Terrific refuge in downtown Phnom Penh! - Aside from “Just about everything!”, the two greatest assets at this hotel are: 1. The staff! & 2. The whole property - buildings & grounds. The “walk-ability”, with proximity to the royal palace, river & downtown, was also fantastic! I would recommend slightly better pillows & A/C improvements. My pillows were not especially comfortable & the air-conditioning blew directly on me - regardless of fan settings or temperature adjustments, I could not get comfortable enough to sleep well, all night. I believe minor adjustments (by maintenance) could adjust a few of these things.
• Aurelie (9/5): - Magnifique hôtel style colonial au cœur de la capitale et de ses sites historiques. Accueil chaleureux. Très bon petit déjeuner. Notre chambre était cosy avec une bonne literie. Seul regret la piscine privative que nous n'avons pas utilisé et qui n'est pas nécessaire.
• Merril (10/5): Grüne Wohlfühloase in der Stadt - Tolle, kleine Anlage im Herzen der Großstadt. Leider waren wir nur 1 Nacht in dieser schönen, grünen Oase. Im Kolonialstil erbaut mit liebevoller Einrichtung und zwei tollen Pools. Zentrale Lage. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit Balkon zum Pool. Sehr gute Matrazen. Fußläufig zum Palast und Riverside. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr gerne empfehlen wir dieses Hotel weiter. Es gab nichts.
• 317RobG (10/5): Always a great stay in central Phnom Penh. Highly ecommended. - We have stayed at The Pavilion a number of times over the past 15 years and it's always our go-to place in Phnom Penh. The location is great and the quiet ambience is wonderful. Beautiful peaceful vibe around the pools/garden/restaurant. We had a Suite Room for 4 nights and loved it. Very spacious and clean. We love the "mansion" feel to the buildings and rooms. Breakfast is excellent - plentiful, varied, and tasty. There's a 2 for 1 happy hour at the bar each afternoon. The staff are friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

• Paula (10/5): An Exceptional Hotel - Everything !!!! This lush boutique hotel is just exceptional . Location was great for exploring city and the staff were great . Shout out to Mae and her colleagues at the bar area. Two great pools - one lush and a sunny one. We stayed in a bungalow with a Jacuzzi and it was wonderful . The bed was comfortable and room was just an oasis of calm . The mosquito repellent was a great idea . We loved the daily message on the Buddha ! Absolutely nothing
• martib241 (10/5): Heavenly Haven - The interior public area is gorgeous. The room was spacious. We were traveling with friends whose accommodations were terrific as well. On a busy street but once inside it was truly a peaceful haven. Attentive staff and good food and drink.

• Sally Ann (10/5): - A serene oasis behind a secluded entrance on a busy city street. Loved the historic building we stayed in and the lush gardens and pools. Food was good in the restaurant or as room service. Great location.

You should not stay anywhere else if you come to phnom phen it was the most beautiful friendly and relaxing place to stay especialy with the bussiness out sode when you come to stay you will feel like you have been transported to somewhere else. If you cant tell we loved it.

Lovely staff - great meal - will most definitely recommend this one hotel with no question asked!
• Rod_Brown (10/5): Great hotel in Phnom Penh! - We loved this hotel. It is a green and blue oasis in the middle of the big city. Lots of trees and plants, and two swimming pools, plus individual plunge pools with some of the rooms. The food at the restaurant was excellent. And the staff was overwhelmingly friendly and helpful.

• john (2/5): Spoilt - Stylish rooms The staff were mostly unhelpful. A simple request for an early breakfast of two croissants was initially rejected but eventually they agreed to provide some.We duly collected our take away breakfast and there were no croissants. My wife was then made to feel like a thief at check out as the hotelier came running down the street after her for a Kit Kat bar that had gone missing from the fridge. The moral is don’t put your own chocolate in the fridge with that which belongs to the hotel. All in all a distinct lack of class
