Guest Reviews
- Kristen (8/5): We stay here often because it's nice and clean - All the employees are nice, my room was clean and large. They came in every day to make the bed and give fresh towels. I missed this luxury while traveling. So thank you for bringing this back!!! The hotel itself was very hot. (Lobby, halls, elevator)
My room wasn't hot because I could control the temperature there. I'm sure as the weather gets warmer they'll turn the air conditioner on.

- Nichole (10/5): This is our place everytime we get a room to visit my grand kids - This was our 3rd stay, they allow our fur babies and it’s clean. It doesn’t smell like animal. There’s a pool, hot tub and breakfast. N/A
- John (9/5): Its okay - Location The breakfast 7s alwsys cold and not a great variety in comparison with others in the area. It was something biting (insect) me at night while sleeping.
- Keith (9/5): -
- Marlene (10/5): -
- Vickie (9/5): - Nothing, everything was just perfect.
- Laura (4/5): It was just for 1 night - Are your rooms had a chemical smell, (room 1 ) lights didn’t work by the bed ( room 2 ) the hot tub had broken way like it had sunken are settling. Someone had taken are kids snack that was left on the the front counter. Online
- Nicole (7/5): Over all it was beautiful and we had a great time - Loved the property and the location was great I don’t think it’s anything to do with the property but it felt as if I was sleeping in a pallet. Like the beds were super hard
- Buell (8/5): better than adequate - convenient and clean breakfast was meager
- Jeffrey (8/5): -
- Suzanne (6/5): -
- Nicole (1/5): -
- Mia (10/5): Beautiful, short and sweet. - Clean Hallway traffic
- robert (3/5): the toilets are too low, the trains woke me up at least 4 times. why not get a sound barrier put up - the eggs were lifeless with no egg flavor at all the butter for the pancakes should be next to the syrup so it can be put on the cakes as soon as possible. Even if frozen scrambled eggs would have been better flavor wise. You need to have handicapped bathrooms. The first six rooms ( 102 ,104, 106, 108, 110 and 112 should be handicapped .
- Jeffrey (8/5): Good place to stay in close to downtown Republic - Heated pool in a hot tub I really didn’t have any problems
- Elda (10/5): -
- Chester (1/5): Never again, room 106 - Friendly, helpful Mattress, furnace runs till 80 degrees, then a/c runs till 60 degrees, all night. Ask for room away from ice and vending machines. They were next door.
- Q9911PFkevinb (10/5): Very kind and understanding staff. - Location was easy to find, has a quiet atmosphere with very helpful lady that works at night. My girlfriend and my baby girl woke up wanting some milk and we forgot to pick some up before we got there. Being 2 am the lady for the front desk was very nice and got a glass of milk for us and would not take any money. Very very appreciated if anyone has ever been there with a crying baby can understand! The facility is clean and seems to be well taken care of. I would recommend this place to anyone.

- Albert (4/5): Disappointing - Location Upon checking in, we WERE NOT told the TV was out of order. Further more the overnight staff spoke very little English and seemed to understand almost no English. We've stayed at this location 2-3 times each yr for the past 5+ yrs. This was BY FAR our poorest experience. We will be in Republic again in the spring of 2026 and will be looking for other lodging. DISAPPOINTED!
- Alisha (1/5): Horrible owners who won’t rent to families with little kids - Horrible owners who won’t rent to families with little kids
- Travis (8/5): Prefect place to stay - Away from the main road and easy to get in and out of Nothing I didn’t like
- Sheilla (10/5): - My last room was excellent! Would have liked a downstairs room to begin. My last room was excellent!
- DobermanMom2025 (10/5): 🏆 Phenomenal Hotel! 🏆 - This is an exceptional hotel that was recommended to us by our very good friend who lives locally. They provide more towels and other essential items that travelers need without having to call the front desk. The rooms are welcoming and have everything you need on your trip. The staff was excellent and we were very impressed with how well they handled some guests who were in line as well to check in and were under the impression that their needs were much more important than those in line ahead of them. They staff treated them with respect but in a very kind manner made it clear that they would be helped as quickly as possible. We definitely recommend this hotel and we give it 10 stars!

- ecofreak4 (8/5): Good, but some little problems - Let me go through some of the things that are important to me as a traveler staying in motels. I'll be brief:
Comfort - the bed is very comfortable, the desk chair is not. This is typical of many motels in that he desk chairs are no longer able to achieve a proper height for working on a computer.
Noise - very little noise in this motel. It is not on a main street so that's probably the reason. I like that. The other side of the property is fairly close to an active set of railroad tracks so it probably is noisier on that side. They will provide ear plugs if it's an issue.
Check in - By 3:00 pm, the management should be aware if all the rooms are clean. This guy had to go and check which rooms were clean so the whole check-in process took nearly twenty minutes. Unacceptable. His foreign accent also made him very difficult to understand.
Cleanliness - Top notch. Very clean and well equipped room (except the desk chair)
Breakfast - Don't know, didn't take advantage of it.
Other items - Don't use the vending machine. It took my $2.00 and gave me nothing.
All in all, this is a good motel and I would probably stay here again
- Dana (10/5): -
- Donna (10/5): Very comfortable - Nice
- Zachary (1/5): The bottom line is… STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!! Even if you can get a room for free, DO NOT STAY! It will still end up - There is not much to say about this property at all in terms of what I liked. The room was dirty. The staff were extremely rude. The breakfast was ok. Where to even begin! On the very first night of staying there we found a COCKROACH in the ROOM. Right on the tv. Upon notifying the staff there was “nothing she could do”. The manager wasn’t extremely rude and refused to do anything (actually he put the blame on me, saying that I may have brought the cockroach in 😂🤦♂️). The staff is extremely unprofessional. There was “trash” outside the front door of the hotel. The list just goes on and on…
- Moises (10/5): - Everything was perfect
- Breiner (8/5): A great hotel, would definitely recommend to friends and family. - Didn't eat breakfast. Location was good, staff service was great. Very clean rooms, price of stay acceptable. Beds were a little to firm, but otherwise everything was great.
- Guest (8/5): -
- Kathy (8/5): It was nice and relaxing. We enjoyed ourselves. We will be back - It was clean and comfortable
- Antonel (9/5): -
- King (10/5): Excellent - Breakfast was good every morning. Staff was so kind and always had a smile. They were always willing to help with any needs. My kids loved the indoor pool. I cant say there was anything I didn't like. It was an amazing extended stay for my family
- christinehE5797YU (4/5): Bedding wasn’t cleaned on either bed. - We booked a 2 queen bed room in October. Both beds had a considerable amount of hair all over them and both had marks on them of dirt. Some looked like footprints of a dog. It was obvious that the bed coverings weren’t cleaned or the sheets.
- Jeff (2/5): - The manager is non-existent and does not give his Front Desk staff the ability to make decisions to fully serve the guests. The hotel is more concerned about their policies than understanding the plight of having to make last minute travel changes, even after staying there for 3 nights.
- Julie (4/5): - Parking was good, location was good for what we needed.
THE HOTEL IS BUILT RIGHT NEXT TO THE VERY ACTIVE TRAIN TRACKS (within 30 yards) which made it very hard to sleep as you could feel your bed start to rumble before the train ever came by ever so loudly.
The place just needs a good scrub and a remodel.
The carpets were disgusting, things were falling apart, the AC kept turning off, the hot tub was out of order, the entire place was hot (early October, so it wasn't something that AC couldn't fix)...
- Guest (3/5): - Location next to busy train tracks, furniture in disrepair, carpet needs replaced (stained and ripped) Room was not very clean stains on the ceiling. Hot tube not working. Not much, avoid this place.
- Paul (6/5): - Parking was good
- Guest (5/5): -
- vanessa (8/5): - they were able to let us check in early. rooms nice size & clean. didn't care for the pillows. the breakfast was lacking quality- we went elsewhere to eat. quiet area was nice but nothing around. i would stay there again if in the area.
- shereta (10/5): - Clean Hot tub was amazing
- Theresa (6/5): - A/c unit thermostat didn’t work, breakfast….coffee was weak, hot food was not hot
- Kathy (10/5): - Clean room
- Kimberly (4/5): Check your room before you accept it - First room... walked in and it smelled like a wet dog. I asked for a new room and the clerk seemed upset and rolled his eyes. The second room.... walked in and it too smelled like wet dog, but not as bad. I asked the housekeeper for air freshener and she got the clerk. He seemed upset again until he walked in and smelled the room. He apologized and gave us a 3rd room. Third room... it was fine, no smell. The breakfast was ok.. the pool area was pretty cute. I liked the hot tub.the pool towels could have been bigger but thats just nit picking.
- Tammy (6/5): - Was fine for 1 night.
- Ellen (2/5): - Specifically booked a “non smoking” room with 2 double queen sized beds, and received a smoked room. The employees then placed my family into a single queen size bedroom for 4 people. Unpleasant experience overall. On top of that it took them awhile to find our booking info. You want to be able to come and not have to deal with this kind of stuff after a long day.
- Megan (2/5): - We left in the notes we had our daughter in a wheelchair, (she's cp and autism), they put us on the second floor so we ended up carrying her.. because in a fire we can't use the elevator with her wheelchair. Then we get to the room and the WiFi is not working, we tried EVERYTHING, even our hotspots on our phones to the tv. Went to front desk, the came to our room couldn't figure it out either and said, "give it some time". Which is not how WiFi works but ok. (Neither spoke English well) So we went back down saying it still wasn't working, the lady was NOT nice about it, said we could go to another room. (We needed WiFi to work for her stimming shows etc) we get to a new room same problem. So obviously none of their TVs have WiFi access like they said, and they did not want to help us or figure it out (or couldn't ?) long story shorter, we turned both sets of rooms keys in and left, having only been there not even 2 hours. And zero reimbursement.
- Christina (7/5): -
- Rose (6/5): Convenient but uncomfortable - A/C was inefficient and the pillows were uncomfortable. The location, however, is the closest to Republic.
- frankcF9271UR (6/5): Maybe! - Love the out of the way hotel, away from all the hustle and bustle, and felt very safe!
The toilet in the room got plugged right after we got there and no one fixed it and so we had to stay in a room with a nasty toilet all night...
- David (6/5): - I didn’t like coming back to a room I paid 130 bucks for being covered in ants, they claim “we know we keep the rooms as clean as possible”
- Wil (6/5): - facility does ot meet its ratting ,shows wear, tear and lack of attention. The dead bolt door lock appears locked, bolt does not penitrate the door jam . Staff seemed unconcerned or did not understand the problem after I demostrated at the door.
- Arturo (10/5): - The rooms are spacious and the bed comfortable. But perhaps the best part is that rooms are extra clean..
- Kevin (10/5): - Clean and convenient!
- Laura (10/5): Very happy-return customer - I have stayed here several times. It is always clean. Rooms are kept clean and in order, showers always have really good water pressure. Staff are great! Very helpful . Breakfast is always good I have no complaints about this property
- JACQUELINE (10/5): - It was a very good stay. It was clean and well kept-up. We had no problems during our stay.
- Luke (6/5): - This property was good overall for being a hotel/ motel. Checkin took 20 minutes to get a person up to the desk as the person working the desk was taking care of another issue in a hotel room. The hotel was extremely clean. The mattresses in the room felt like cardboard with a pillow topper, the air conditioning worked well and the bathroom was well stocked with both towels as well as toiletries. The blinds in my room were not in working order as the chain had skipped off the gear. I fixed the blinds and fixed them. Overall very adequate lodging. The lodging was also close to everything in Republic
- Adam and Stefani (9/5): quality place to stay. great pool! - pool was great! kids loved the pool. really nice how they have it set up. room was large. breakfast was good. safe area. rates were good. shower did not have a working exhaust fan in it...and the drop ceiling in the bathroom was rusting because of it. also the hair dryer was broken. bed was not very comfortable. we did not like the bed.
- Sonya (8/5): -
- Carlos (10/5): - Front desk check-in person was nice, friendly and helpful. Property is nice, clean, and spacious.
- Paula (7/5): Good - Clean
- Kimberly (7/5): Too much for a short stay. - I wasn’t there very long so I didn’t experience anything at the hotel but the room. The front desk lady was sitting in the chair in the lobby when I arrived. When asked about the rate, I told her I would look online for a better price. When I finished, I couldn’t find her. I hit the bell and she popped from around the corner.
- Cassandra (1/5): Very upset - Our plans changed so I didn't need the 2nd night that I had booked. They told me that they could not give me my money back for the second night but then they still checked me out even though I said I would come the next day to check out at the end of my reservation. When I came in the next day to check out, they had rented out the rooms. This means that they got double pay for the second night. We also were not able to get something that was left in our room because housekeeping had missed it and someone else was already in the room even though I had not checked out yet. I will not be staying there again or using booking.com.
- Memama (5/5): Passable - My TV didn't work so I had to stay in the room with no entertainment
- Kevin (10/5): - Everything was fine.
- Matthew (10/5): I had a wonderful 3 day get away and I’m going to do it again - The while property was amazing! Well maintained! Nothing! Everything was perfect
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Hearing the train!!
- Theis (8/5): Very good - Clean
- Richardson (7/5): Good - Clean, easy to find The train is very loud and goes through every 2 hours all night long
- Jesse (10/5): Quiet, clean was great -
- Laura (2/5): - The staff member at check in was very kind. Despite what looked like strict rules about not smoking, my room reeked of smoke. There was a burn hole made by a cigarette in the comforter. The toilet handle was broken. The hotel was full, so nothing could be done. The indoor pool and hot tub were really good. Breakfast was so so. I would not stay here again.
- Mccoy (8/5): Very good - Peaceful Train
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I got what I paid for. Basic hotel, wasn't aware I will be next to railroad and trains are loud at night. Shower experience wasn't the best. Hotel is not that old, but theres mold in a tub. I liked more or less cleaness of the rooms. Hotel location is convenient and super close to restaurants.
- Lois D (6/5): - It’s okay and the only one in that town
- bradley (10/5): - Great stay
- Earl (8/5): - '
- Sandra (1/5): Bad - I found very little to like at this facility -- The train that passed every two hours directly behind the room was the worst!
- Aaron M (10/5): - The staff was very polite and friendly, I’ve stayed at this hotel several times in the last year, great job!
- Jeremiah (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jeremiah (7/5): Good -
- Jeremiah (7/5): Good -
- Jeremiah (7/5): Good -
- Kathy (10/5): - Very nice and clean budget hotel.
- Courtney (2/5): - We tried two different rooms and they smelled terrible and had bugs crawling on the furniture
- Celina (7/5): Good -
- Justin (8/5): - Good room.
- Madison (1/5): This hotel is extremely run down and nasty. Will never be staying here again - Location Hot tub was cold and dirty. There was a roach in our room. The bedding had holes and stains. The lobby smelt bad like poop covered up by baby powder.
- Frank (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeremy (2/5): - There were ants in my room. I told them severel times and they did nothing about this. I would like a full refund.
- Liz (9/5): Superb - The location and convenience were great. Nice area for our pet. Would stay at this location again The train was a bit loud and would recommend getting a room in the front for less noise.
- Rosann (8/5): - Staff was very nice and helpful.
Clean room.
- Michael (8/5): - Great to stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok stay - My biggest issue was i xalled the front desk to let them know about a issue with a room close to us, they had a dog and it barked most of night and than for at least a good hour to hour in half. Was told they would put us in a different room after 1pm. Well that never happened. The woman working the front desk said their was no notes for our room when we was told they would put a note that we was to get a different room. Only other real issue is that they never had any towels in the pool area. When i got back to the hotel Saturday night the whole lobby and the 2nd floor smelled of Marijuana.
- William (7/5): Good -
