- Penelope (9/5): Good Food Lovely home and bedroom, Very clean. A lovely experience. - Breakfasts were fabulous!! Different entree every morning. Nicely served. Beautiful table settings. We are in our 70's so location was a little far for us. We drove. No problem. Free Parking. Really close to town. Really Can't think of anything. Hosts were very nice and friendly and truly welcomed us to their beautiful home.
- Patricia (10/5): We would happily return there in the future. - The house is lovely and the hosts were delightful to chat with during their delicious homemade breakfast. It was also nice to be able to walk to and from the main thoroughfare of Niagara on the Lake. NA
- Kevin (10/5): Would definitely return! - Lovely dining area. Fresh & local food for breakfast with good variety in the meal & sufficient portion size. Hosts joined us at the end of the meal for a friendly chat. Access to ice would have been helpful to prep water bottles for long rides/kayaks. (The hosts were still accommodating, cheerfully bringing us ice from their personal fridge!)
- Maureen (8/5): Very good -

Our friendly host cooked a delicious breakfast, catering thoughtfully to our dietary requirements. Only a short walk from the heart of Niagara on the Lake, with shopping, lake and theatres. We will definitely be back.
- Gerald (10/5): perfect - great the htes ts were wonderful would love if they lived in states have another comfortable chair in room so two people can sit.
- Sarah (10/5): - We really enjoyed staying here. It was our first time at a bed and breakfast so we weren’t quite sure what to expect, however everything was fantastic. Our room was a great size, very comfortable, our own bathroom. We were located just blocks away from everything we wanted to do, breakfasts are included and they were very tasty! A hot tub outside was great. The hosts Cathy and Colin are really nice people, very friendly and they have a dog which was a bonus. Thank you!
- Paula (10/5): - The hosts were so warm and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing and the room was very clean and comfortable. We were walking distance from the theaters and restaurants. Very happy
- Barbara (9/5): A most enjoyable stay in Niagara on the Lake. - Within walking distance to theatre, waterfront and restaurants.
- Philip (9/5): Our visit to Antique Slumber, while short, was a most pleasant and satisfying stay. - The atmosphere was relaxed, and in spite of the rain the location was just a short walk to the theatre. Breakfast was superb, as was the conversation with the other guests. We look forward to visiting Antique Slumber again. I really dislike being negative, but I did find the bed to be rather low and very firm.
- Ohren (10/5): Amazing! - Amazing location. The breakfast was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.
- Carlos (10/5): Great B&B option with exceptional location and friendly staff - Great location, property in great condition N/A
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Host’s were extremely cordial and friendly. Breakfast was superb
- Elizabeth (10/5): The perfect place to stay! - We felt very welcome! The breakfast was amazing (3 courses, freshly cooked) and it was lovely to meet other travellers at the breakfast table. The location was perfect; just a short walk to the main street (Queen street) with lots of shops and restaurants. We had the lower level/ground level room with 2 single beds and it was quite spacious. My sister had to work while we were there; there was a desk in the room which was great. The mattresses were quite firm which may not suit everyone but we still had a comfortable stay.
- Peter (10/5): - Loved this B&B! Great location, easy 2 block walk to dining/shopping. The nicest hosts ever! For breakfast she prepared gluten-free food special for me. The friendly hosts were informative and a joy to chat with. Be aware that even though you guarantee your reservation with a credit card, THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH OR CHECK FOR PAYMENT. I recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake.
- Rosalyn (8/5): Delicious breakfasts, very friendly hosts, excellent location but our room had some deficiencies. - Breakfasts were excellent but I would have preferred a 9am start instead of 8:30 am. A comfortable chair instead of an uncomfortable bench would have been appreciated. A second wastebasket instead of just one in the bathroom. Higher wattage reading lights next to the bed. Directions on how to turn on the jets in the bathtub. A little assistance with our luggage. Our room and bathroom had a problem with black ants.
- David (10/5): Met expectations - Great location
Quiet
Friendly
- Mary (8/5): Lovely place and enjoyed talking with gracious hosts. - Breakfast was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented.
The location was ideal for walking into town and the property itself was very pretty. Twin beds on the main floor which was what I needed (can't do stairs),
however one of the mattress's was lumpy and needs replacement.
- Jeremiah (10/5): Fantastic - Excellent stay. Excellent hosts!
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Judith (10/5): Antique Slumber, Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Canada - Fabulous hosts, fabulous accommodation, fabulous full breakfasts, catering to our dietary needs. We stayed three nights and felt right at home. Excellent backyard parking which is surrounded by their beautiful gardens and a great deck. Located a few short, lovely, quiet tree lined blocks from the main street, we walked to theater, the shops and restaurants. To venture further afield, we unloaded our bicycles and rode through wonderful flat, mostly paved paths along the river to various cafes and wineries. The entire area, Niagara on the Lake, we found to be an idyllic park like setting, a beautiful place to visit and tour. We highly recommend Antique Slumber be your choice of accommodation for its excellent quality plus the hosts' very thoughtful touches at every turn. Absolutely charming, would return again and again! We loved everything!
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Clean friendly lovely breakfast Nowt
- Cfhenke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Awful stay - Awful stay. The bed was too lumpy to sleep on, the breakfast was only offered if you were at the table at 8:30. Sleeping after 7:30 was impossible as everyone was talking loudly right outside of the door.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Horrible! - You can feel the springs of the old mattress, the only curtains are thin and light in color, and you will hear everything happening in the house. Breakfast is only offered for those who are seated at the table at 8:30 am and the hostess is very rude.
- stephen (10/5): - We would stay again!
- Guy (9/5): Owners where really friendly and helpful could use a bar fridge in room being room is upstairs - Walking distance to town easy parking behind house
- Stephen (10/5): - If you're looking for a great B&B experience this is the place to go. Almost everything is within a 10-15 min walk. The owners are great and very friendly. We would definitely go back again if we are ever in the area.
- Evan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional! Will come again! - Fantastic hosts, so friendly and knowledgeable. Their charming home is in a quiet and pretty neighborhood. Close to restaurants and a short walk to the Shaw Festival Theatre.
- Brett (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lyons (9/5): We had a wonderful time. - Breakfast was excellent.
Location was perfect. I can't think of anything negative.
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Excellent breakfast. Excellent location.
- Pawan (10/5): - Cathy and Colin are wonderful hosts. Our discussions with them and other international guests were meaningful and enjoyable. The room was very cozy with antique flavor. The breakfast was phenomenal. The location is great with most of the attractions within a walkable distance. Overall, our stay was fun and relaxing - Cathy and Colin contributed a great deal to that.
- Prideaux (10/5): Elegant, welcoming & well located - The breakfast was 3 courses- muffins, with home made jams, local fruit salad in beautiful bowls, then a frittata. Plenty of tea and coffee & orange juice.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - The best rest in Niagara-on-the-Lake! Comfy, cozy, and convenient. A welcoming retreat just 2 short blocks from Olde Town! Great hosts!Delicious breakfasts! Whirlpool tubs and an outdoor hot-tub offer a relaxing cure after hours spent enjoying the best theatre in North America! Sadly, I couldn't stay longer.
- Henry (8/5): The road to the house of a friend is never long. - It is a cozy, well appointed and cared for historic home in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood just 3 blocks from Queen St. The comfy robes in the room are a grace note. The conversation at breakfast with hosts and other guests was lively. The full breakfast was delicious, creative and beautifully presented. The hosts/homeowners are welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable. Staying here is more like visiting friends (who are great cooks and hosts) than staying at an inn. The bathroom lighting could be better and a second chair and luggage racks would have made our small room more comfortable for two. The rooms and common areas would be confining for a longer stay, but it was perfect for a short stay. The neighborhood is a real plus.
- Susan (10/5): - Very pleased with accommodations and friendliness of the owners. Breakfasts were excellent!
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was excellent. The hosts were friendly, kept the place clean, with an amazing breakfast every morning. And it was just a short walk from the downtown main street. No complaints everything was great
- Terry (6/5): Pleasant - The location and breakfast was great. The garden was lovely and the bathroom and towels was very good. A/C was good. Access through front and back was helpful. The mattress and pillows were awful. Patio furniture was rusted and we were concerned for our clothes.
- Anthony (10/5): - Cathy and Colin were wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were delicious. The place was very clean and walkable to the main street in Niagara-On-The-Lake.
This was out first experience with a B&B so I don't know if this is normal but, my only complaint was their request for cash, e-transfer or cheque as payment. They did not want credit cards. Knowing this, we will be better prepared the next time.
- Gary (10/5): Superb! -
- Alberto (9/5): Superb - Very nice people Credit cards not accepted
- Julie (10/5): - Our hosts, Cathy and Colin, were friendly and welcoming. Their hot breakfast was delicious and filling. It was a treat to chat with their other guests at breakfast!
- Gareth (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (10/5): Great B & B - Engaging hosts. Excellent location close to downtown and the Shaw Theater. Beautifully restored 19th century home. Lovely neighborhood. Outstanding breakfast. Good value. Nothing really.
- Herbert (10/5): Cathy and Colin were the best host and hostess. Would stay again! - Loved the privacy the way the b and b is set up We loved it all
- Shari (10/5): Great Bed and Breakfast - Great hosts, very clean and within walking distance to the main strip. Absolutely nothing!!
- Julia (9/5): Superb - Great breakfast. Hosts were kind and hospitable. The windows in the room needs curtains. It was very bright in the room prior to 6am which made it hard to sleep.

- RICHARD (10/5): Convivial - Convivial chatter over excellent breakfast
- Micheal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juliet (10/5): My stay was an unforgettable one with great memories. Truly grateful to Cathy and Colin! - The homely atmosphere and the friendliness of the hosts made us feel as if we were visiting friends. The kindness of the hosts touched us deeply as they treated us like family and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make us feel welcome. There was nothing to dislike as everything was lovely.
- Laurie (10/5): - Cathy and Collin were very hospitable. Easy to talk to. Gave great information about the area. There was antiques throughout and they had it beautifully furnished. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and you will not go hungry. We would definitely stay there again. A thanks again for a great stay
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (10/5): Quite enjoyable and I will be back. - Cathy & Colin were warm and engaging hosts. Their home is beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained. We regularly attend the Shaw Festival and this is our first choice for next year’s stay.
We could easily walk to any of the Shaw theaters or a variety of restaurants. Breakfast was a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Our room was comfortable and quiet. I couldn’t ask for more. After booking I learned credit cards weren’t accepted for payment. Arranging to get Canadian currency was not difficult however and I felt it was a reasonable way to keep costs down and the stay was a good value.
- Allan (10/5): wonderful -
- eleanor (10/5): - The owners Cathy and Cole are fantastic hosts. We have stayed there many times and have recommended it to many of our friends
