- Paul (8/5): Fijn verblijf in Edgartown - Voelt meer als een B&B dan hotel. Persoonlijke touch. Ligging is ideaal. Ellen is een hele gastvrije host. Ook haar collega’s waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Was het overal maar zo. Goed ontbijt met lekkere producten. Kamer was heel geriefelijk. Lekker bed. Ruim, badkamer prima en alles even schoon. Balkon was een fijne toevoeging (wel extra voor betaald). Eigenlijk niets. Het is allemaal prima verzorgd, maar verwacht geen nieuw 2026 hotel. U moet met koffers de trappen op sjouwen (voor ons was dat geen probleem), want het is al een wat oudere locatie (historisch). Mijn vrouw is gevoelig voor room-spray. Dus liever geen artificiële geurtjes gebruiken.

Had a minor hiccup when checking in (my fault, not theirs) and it was handled very professionally. They had very good morning breakfasts too. Why the not perfect rating? It was obvious the floors were not cleaned prior to our stay. Walking into the bathroom barefoot (after taking off socks) the bath mat would be covered with dirty foot marks. We dealt with it and didn't complain - wish we had but surprised the staff didn't recognize the problem when they did a cleaning mid-stay. Would stay again, but would ask them to ensure the floors are clean.

It was wonderful to walk out and either take a walk down to a beautiful residential area or head to Main St for shopping and dining! We especially enjoyed the round the clock coffee and tea, the afternoon delicious cookies and the bountiful breakfast with many healthy options! The staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant! We will definitely stay here again!

AND they serve warm, salted chocolate chip cookies for the most delicious afternoon snack! The bathroom could use more shelving for toiletry storage.

The location is conveniently situated within walking distance of all that Edgartown has to offer, and for those feeling adventurous, Oaks Bluff is easily accessible by bike, with a rental shop conveniently located next door. Bathroom a good size with the toiletries too. Which meant we didn't have to carry all our toiletries over in our backpack. Location great for everything. Recommendations from Alison perfect. Lovely light breakfast. Fruit, pasties, yoghurts, granola (which was amazing) muffins, drinks No water in the room and we were on the top floor. Steep stairs so chose not to carry the bottle provided all the way down to the ground floor to fill it up. As we had had a super long day travelling

The breakfast items were a delight, as were the cookies in the afternoon. Coffee and tea, plus filtered water were available all day and night. The staff was courteous and attentive, helping with travel arrangements and dining options.

- john (10/5): - The Christopher is located in the center of town within walking distance to everything. It’s near the bike path to the beach and not far from morning glory farm which we enjoyed. The Christopher staff are super friendly and attentive. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Each morning we enjoyed the self serve breakfast bar with banana bread from morning glory farm, overnight oats, muffins, granola, juice and coffee. We appreciated the free insight parking and a bike storage area on site as well. The inn has charm and is beautifully decorated. We would highly recommend staying here and would come back again

- Russell (10/5): - This was a lovely bed in breakfast situated just off the Main Street in Edgartown. It’s and easy walk to dinning, shopping and bars. The hotel is beautiful decorated and the staff is delightful and accommodating. Our room on the top floor had great views, including a glimpse of the water. It’s close to everything while still being a peaceful, potentially romantic retreat.

- Melissa (6/5): Not a great value for price - The location is very walkable however beware if you get a main floor room. Its very loud and our room was very small and was not pictured on the website. We felt overall it was not a good value for the price.

- Nick (7/5): Nice place, good location, but rather expensive for what you get. - Great location, nice staff, decent room. Very expensive for what you get, poor plumbing and a rather odd breakfast.

- Toni (10/5): The Christopher - Great king suite with balcony, with 2 separate doors to balcony. Cute, quaint, just a beautiful place. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great, just enough to get the day started.
