• Candice (8/5): Very good - Very convenient location. It was right across from the mall with a grocery store and plenty of food options. The rooms and bedding were clean and comfortable. The showers could do with more attention to cleaning.

They did fix it the next day, but my children lost interested. Other rhan that the experience was very good. We stayed for 4 good nights!!

• Mark (6/5): Hard to recommend if you need to stay connected - Overall nice and clean and comfortable WiFi was WORST. Never stayed connected for more than 10 minutes and then had to re-log in at least 5-8 times an hour. I rely on it for work and entertainment and it failed me and cost me a great deal of money and frustration

Booking trips is expensive directly by the hotel, but they give you a number and then it is much cheaper

• Olivier (2/5): They should rename the hitel to medium, or even poor Cakra. - Actually, only the lady at the reception was really sweet. Her name is Puji. Otherwise, the beds were OK. But certainly not a 4 star worthy Almost eveything. Grand. Akra should be called medium Cakra. It has lost all it’s value of a 4 star hotel. Smelly towels, food way to greasy (it’s not hath difficult to pit lumpias first on kitchen paper to take away the grease). Waiters couldn’t really communicate, breakfast buffet was all empty ar 08:00 already. We had to ask to get something. And it seem to bother them we did ask. Croissant was from 1 days ago, and Inchewed longernon pne bite than I do on a chewing gum. Almost no fruit. Nothing without lactose (cowmilk), which is important as my kid an allergy. Let alone they were helping to find a solution. In the end, went to the supermarket for my kid’s breakfast. Oh, and they let people smoke in the breakfast area. Disgusting, even for a smoker like my brother could not understand it Swimmingpool was clean, but the surrounding is horrible. One side green bush , but they do not show on the picture on booking.com that the otherbside is the hotel itself where the wallpaint is falling of. Paint it with some fresh colors, and it is solved. In the end, we decided to leave ywo night earlier, even if we had already paid. We decided to call the hotel “grand caca” .

• John (8/5): Business hotel on the outskirts of town. - This is a pretty nice hotel. The rooms were decent size and comfy. A couple of chairs for sitting near the window was nice. Room service was prompt and inexpensive. Food was good and good value for money. The staff arranged a trip to Tumpack Sewu Waterfall. The neighborhood is upscale. There is nice supermarket and mall across the street. It is far from the center of town, over 20 minutes by cab. The pool was closed for the first day, and once it opened, we found the seating around it to be a bit lacking (most of the chaise lounges were in need of repair). They put out some stacking padded chairs from the conference rooms for extra seating. The hotel lists a second flood bar, but it is only non alcoholic drinks and was closed the whole time we were there.

• Keepyercool (8/5): Very good - Clean, spacious, well airconditioned rooms with a nice view across to Bromo if staying on 5/F or above. Good sized pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall and adequate and well-maintained 4 star hotel. All windows are completely sealed for safety, but this means there is zero ventilation in the rooms as the aircons are simple split units, there is no central air-conditioning. Consequently the air in the corridors is also stuffy, with staff always shutting the small window there if you try to open it. Another odd feature was the height of the washbasins in the bathrooms: they are placed only 71cm above the ground. For anyone over 1.80m, this means bending or kneeling to access the washbasin, a real pain if you are stiff or have a bad back.

The internet was awful, the room was not very clean, old and mouldy furniture and doors, bad smell inside and couldn’t open the window to get fresh air, no hair dryer in the bathroom.

And since this is a business trip, it was nearby Persada Hospital where my workshop held. The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful (compared to another 3 star hotel) Also the location, outside tbe housing complex, the highway are too busy with a lot of truck
