Robert (10/5): Comfortably spent a happy night here - Well, I like the bungalow approach. I very much liked the continental breakfast. I like the fact they had a picnic table outside to eat at under a verandah. I liked the common space A-frame down by the pool and café. I liked the way the rooms were very clean and functional. I put in the special request that I was bringing a service dog and they asked me to provide official documentation and I had to tell them that there is no such thing, and then they didn't reply for sometime which made me anxious as to whether I would have to move to a different hotel. On the other hand: before too long at all, the owner called me and told me that there would be no problem and so everything was fine in the end.

Jacqui (10/5): An amazing stay at Caoe Cod Veranda. - What an amazing stay we had. Cape Cod Veranda is lovingly well kept by the wonderful owners. Our room was spotless and had everything you could need. The grounds are extremely well kept. They even have a dog park if you are visiting with your dog. The breakfast presentation is equivalent to a five star hotel. It was great to sit at the window seat to be entertained by the wildlife, chipmunks, rabbits, squirrels and an array of different birds. The owners are amazing. This was our first time inn the US of not staying in a chain hotel and it was certainly worth it… highly recommend Cape Cod Veranda. Nothing to dislike, everything was very positive.

Patricia (8/5): - Very nice room, suitable for pet with direct entry from parking. Nice little dog park. We’re grateful to be able to leave pet in her crate in the room for a few hours. Clean and comfortable with accommodating host who brought us a coffee maker because we like coffee so early and breakfast wasn’t until 8. Road construction made it a bit difficult coming and going. Not the fault of the property.

The property is meticulously kept. The breakfast is beautifully laid out with care and in a variety that makes everyone happy. And the location is very central to anything you'd like to do while in Cape Cod.

Brian (10/5): Good quality hotel with good amenities in a quiet area - Great facilities, the quality of the rooms were great, not just IKEA-pieces of furniture that look good and break apart easily. Continental breakfast was solid. It was very quiet (we did go during the beginning of offseason though). Honestly everything was great, and I'm a picky with what I look for in where I stay. I wish the wi-fi was a bit more reliable but it was fine for the most part.

Katherine (8/5): I would recommend this hotel the grounds have a lot to offer, the owners go out of their way - The location of the breakfast was perfect , plenty of seating very clean and nice selection . Loved the enclosed seating area with comfortable seating I was very pleased with the room , it was very clean and had a comfortable bed. The room was tastefully decorated and had plenty of space. What I didn’t like was that you had to walk through a grassy area that had dirt and when it rained in made the walkway muddy. Then you entered your room.

Heidi (5/5): Nice looking room and great breakfast, but hard to get ready without working outlets. - The rooms looked really nice and they had a great breakfast. Unfortunately functionality wasn't good at all. They are old rooms where the decor has been updated, but not the necessities like electricity. We were in one room where the lights flickered when you ran the hair dryer. The outlet stopped working completely so I was unable to wash my hair because their was no working outlet in the bathroom to be able to see to style it. They couldn't figure out how to fix it, so we asked if we could move to another room. They did provide one. The outlet didn't blow in the second room but the lights dimmed when you plugged in a dryer or flat iron. I used another outlet to charge my phone all night...just to wake up and find that wasn't working either. They really need to update their wiring.
Gary (9/5): It was a very pleasant weekend. Good place to get to bike trails and other rides. - it was very good and had a great variety of food. It was a great area to enjoy breakfast. Hostess was very friendly. The shower head in our bathroom shower was a little strange and was hard to get a good rinse after washing my hair.

Excellent general amenities and an exceptional continental breakfast. A very well-thought through hospitality business with great attention to detail and a memorable personal touch from the very nice owner who made us feel welcome. Initially booked for 2 nights but decided to stay for a further 3 nights - says it all!

John (10/5): - Lovely property very clean and great facilities, breakfast was great and the owners were lovely and very helpful, I asked if they had any gluten free bread but they didn't, the next morning they were kind enough to get me some, fantastic, if I had let them know before I arrived it would have been provided. No tea or coffee provided in the room which means you have to get dressed to go and get some, we also thought it would be great to have a rug on the floor just to keep your feet warm when walking around.

Auch der Zimmerservice war perfekt. Das Frühstück war das Beste was wir bisher in den USA genießen durften. Alles wurde täglich mit viel Liebe zubereitet! Aber was diese Unterkunft so einzigartig macht; ist die Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit der Inhaber ! Das Schild am Empfang; Du kommst als Gast und gehst als Freund stimmt hier zu 100%! Wir und unsere Kinder werden definitiv wieder kommen. Ich denke wir werden uns sicher auch demnächst in Europa sehen 😉 Danke für diesen wunderschönen und unvergesslichen Aufenthalt bei euch ! Marsha (8/5): All and all it was good! - The breakfast was certainly adequate but the surrounding for wonderful! The room was damp. The air conditioner or swamp cooler did not alleviate the humidity in the air. My clothes and everything I touched felt wet.

One of our favorite places to stay! Everything was so great but the WiFi is not great. No service without the WiFi so that was a little annoying. TV was also cutting in and out constantly, didn’t work due to the WiFi issues.

Small kitchen area, everything is well designed. Only complaint is the bathtub doesn't have curtains or door so it's difficult to shower.

The rooms were spotless and large, and we were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the pool area was. Parking was simple and stress-free. It’s clear that the owners put a lot of care and attention into the hotel, creating a truly enjoyable and welcoming experience for their guests. We arrived a bit early and at first it seemed like no one was at the reception desk until the 3pm check-in time. Thankfully, we quickly connected with the owner, who was so kind and helpful in getting us settled.

Claudia (10/5): Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! - Eigentümer geführt. Sehr gästenah und immer ansprechbar. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und das Frühstück einfach nur phantastisch. Bietet viel mehr als normales Continental. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Gasgrill und die Picknickplätze können jederzeit von den Gästen verwendet werden. Besitzer stellen Besteck und Gedeck. Für den Strand werden Stühle und Sonnenschirme verliehen. Schöner Poolbereich mit anschließender großer Wiese mit Sonnenliegen. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Alles perfekt!

They left me a little gift in the room for my birthday knowing ahead of time about it. The continental breakfast and coffee bar setup was very lovely! I wish the fire pit area could’ve been open a little later at night. The lights turned off by 10, which isn’t terribly late but even on weekends maybe keeping it open till 11 would be nice.

Carolyn (10/5): Hidden Gem in Cape Cod -we wouldn’t stay anywhere else - We have stayed numerous times here and have never been disappointed. It is immaculately clean, comfortable, centrally located family-owned motel. The continental breakfast is always good and often includes fruits and vegetables grown in their gardens. The property is well maintained and new amenities are always being added. We have found visiting the Veranda resort to be relaxing and almost like visiting family. Highly recommend! Michelle (10/5): This felt like home away from home and I’d high recommend staying here, especially if you have young children, a car, an - Infant & toddler home away from home While on parental leave, we took the kids to the Cape after reading the raving reviews for this hotel. This place is now going to be our go-to hotel when we visit the Cape, especially as we came with a 2 and a half year old and a 5 month old. CLEAN: my toddler explores all the strangest places in hotel rooms and always comes to us with dirty hands, but not here! Everything is so impeccably clean! The moment you enter the room, it smells of fresh laundry which is so inviting. Aesthetics: The architecture to the communal area is so desirable, I absolutely need to find a way to replicate it at home! Wood or gas fire pit under wooden beams and Edison string lights, lush ferns and orchids, warm fuzzy blankets, alongside a home grown garden of tomatoes and fresh basil on each table, amazing coffee, all was provided and covered! Even my toddler was drawing with crayons, playing hopscotch with another guest’s daughter, and playing with stickers in the evening hours! Adirondack chairs against a freshly mowed lawn next to the pool and gas grills, chef’s kiss! They really thought of everything for everyone! Breakfast: Because I’m nursing, I’m eating more rolled oats and they had the same kind I’m used to that you get at Wholefoods or Costco, alongside organic almond and oat milk. This wasn’t just any continental breakfast, this was the type of breakfast you have at home with your family. Staff: it’s a family resort but truly operates like a family owned business. I bumped into the owners or their sons everyday and they were all so nice and informative, helping us navigate where to go and what to do during our trip. They would even wipe the dew off the picnic table in front of our door every morning. Just a heads up before you go, make sure to bring drinking water, and if you bring your infant, don’t forget the baby bath rinse cup!

Stef (10/5): A perfect place to stay and feel like you’re still at home. - We stayed at the Cape Cod Veranda Resort from Thursday to Saturday for a quick getaway (just about an hour and 15 minutes from home), and it far exceeded our expectations. At first glance, the property looks unassuming, but don’t let that fool you — the rooms are exactly as pictured online, and the entire resort has a warm, welcoming charm. The front office is beautiful, and the owners are on-site to make sure every guest has a perfect stay. We booked a king room, which had everything we needed: a comfortable king-size bed, a couch, refrigerator, cable TV (a big plus for us!), and plenty of storage. Parking was conveniently located right in front of our room. The veranda area is stunning both day and night. Breakfast was way beyond “continental” as they offered cereals, oatmeal, fruit, cookies, eggs, pancakes, bagels, trail mix, charcuterie, coffee, and even an espresso machine. We loved eating lunch under the veranda surrounded by beautiful plants and fresh herbs on every table. It reminded us of Costa Rica! In the evening, the veranda glowed with cozy ambiance, complete with a gas fire pit. If that’s full, there are other gas and wood fire pits outside, with blankets provided if it gets chilly. The property itself has so much to offer: a pool, picnic tables with a grill and smoker, a swingset, and plenty of outdoor loungers for relaxing. The dog park was the biggest surprise, our 13-year-old dog loved having the space to himself. They even provided bags and trash bins, which made it so easy. We usually avoid pet-friendly hotels because of odors, but these rooms were spotless with no carpet and no pet smell. The owners were amazing, introducing themselves to each guest, checking on us throughout our stay, even filling my water bottles before we left. When we accidentally left a sweatshirt behind, they called us right away so we could come back and get it. That personal touch is rare and so appreciated. The only thing that I didn’t like, I had nothing to do with the resort, but rather our neighbors smoked nonstop outside their door the entire time that we were there.

Kenneth (10/5): Absloutley Amazing Hidden Gem - Absolutely amazing. Everything from Checking in. To walking into one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in . Will defintely be back. The large gazebo where you could sit and have a wounderful complimentary Contenentail breakfast. The clean quiet pool area. The dog park. All was exceptional.
