Staff are super friendly, from the helpful front door staff help us loading the luggage from car, to our check in staff Kayla, and Arun taking care our luggage, room service staff building tent for our kids, can’t remember all the names, but their smiles gave us memorable trip in Macau. Will definitely come back again!
Carmenchau (2/5): A nice hotel with poor service - My husband and I stayed two nights in this hotel for the first time, once we arrived, there is a staff standing by the other staff, who pretend not noticing us when we have eye contacts and we just go straight to her and let her handle our checkin. We found that she was new while processing since she needs help from the other staff, which we understand, but we already feel unwelcome at the moment. The other staff handle our checkin finally. We then spent a long night in casino and when we went to sleep at around 3am, found that there is light leaking through the glass between the bathroom and our bed, and we found that it’s the light from the tv on the mirror in the bathroom, so we search the buttons to turn it off and finally got the remote control in the drawer, but it is not working, we spent half an hour to fix it and since it’s late, we gave up and had a poor quality sleep that night, but the most frustrating thing is the phone rang at 11am, which is a reminding call for checkout, it’s a machine automatic call and we just hang it cos’ no one is talking actually, we were already mad at that time cos’ we have two consecutive nights booking in the same room, we were woken up with no reason!what made us angrier is the door bell rang at 11:45, which woke us up again and need to open the door to answer, it’s another checkout reminder! We were so tired due to the poor quality sleep already and woke up with no reason for two times! Later that day, we called the front desk about the tv on the mirror, and finally found that it’s because the remote control is out of batteries so it’s not working.How could that happened in a five star hotel! I sent an email to contact them about the issue, they gave me 5000 marriott bonvoy @pts as a goodwill gesture, which is useless. It shows the complaints handling skills of management is not up to standard as well, I don’t feel they are really sorry about that and not taking it seriously! I am still mad with their service after receiving their email, will not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Especially concierge Amy and Call centre Korine assist me to prepare surprise to my girlfriend in advance. Also we would like to highlight Lydia and Rita allowed us to check in early and prepare beautiful handwritten card and cake. We both have a very enjoyable stay in here!
Sashiendhran (3/5): - The staff are very attentive and professional. Rooms given had cigarette smell, room toilet door can't be locked, toilet panel doesn't work and bath tub shower didn't work at all. Not worth the money they charged for their Marriott brand. This is very disappointing.

WilliamLau_Canada (10/5): JW MARRIOTT MACAU HAS GIVEN US AN UNFORGETTABLE WEDDING ANNIVERSARY HOTEL STAY EXPERIENCE - We were tired when we arrived JW Marriott Macau from shenzhen. Check-in staff has arranged us checking at the Executive Club lounge. Club lounge staff "Young" realized we were tired and have missed our lunch due to traveling, "Young" has arranged hightea set for us and Grace has prepared us coffee. Guest Relation Team " Tiffany" also came and welcomed us at the lounge. Her friendly greeting relaxed us, we totally forgot our tireless and have quickly blended ourselves in to this comfortable and luxury environment. On the other side, check-in was also completed by Young seamless. When we entered our room, our luggages have already been delivered to our room. Wow, a one King Bed suite has been arranged for us with a bottle of Portuguese Red Wine, fruit platter, Macarons and a anniversary greeting card signed by many staffs. All these arrangement have already been placed in our living room tea table. The view from our room to Galaxy Rrsort and Lazy River was also spectacular. To avoid the crowd in main dining room "Urban Kitchen", we decided have breakfast in the Executive Club lounge. Foods in the lounge were good and high quality. Guest Relation Manager Sophia came to welcome us. Sophia was friendly and have provided unparalleled care to us. What a team work! We returned to Executive club lounge couple of times, Club lounge staffs Sopia, Victory, Jessie amd Nata took good care of us ebery single time. Hotel suite was sparkling clean, thanks to the very polite housekeeping team and concierge team was also very0 attentive. Our King bed was comfortable. Foods from JW Marriott Macau were tasty, thanks for the support from all the amazing chefs. Chef Gina came out from the kitchen and have checked with us on food quality. I would say JW Marriott Macau management has done an amazing job, they have trained their staffs service quality well above other Marriott Bonvoy hotels that we have stayed in the past. On our day of departure, a luxury van has been arranged for us and the van brought us to the port that directly departure to Hong Kong International Airport seamlessly. I wish everyone in JW Marriott Macau keeps up with the good work. I will visit all of them next time when I return Macau. Thanks, William

I would like to express my appreciation to Eva and Joann from Front desk and guest relations! I felt their efforts to make our stay perfect. Cake, card and cardholders (that's really surprised) were full of love. Not only the check in process was good, but also the Exe lounge and the Urban Kitchen. After check in we went to the Exe lounge, we got warm greetings from Jenny. We enjoyed the afternoon tea! In the evening, we booked the dinner buffet at the Urban kitchen, so many choices of food and drink! The guys were professional, I think they're supervisor or AM? Super friendly. Not only the stay was perfect, but also the pre arrival experience. I would like to show my gratitude to Lydia, Zai, Vinny from GR, Melo from Concierge, Lina, Coco from the Urban Kitchen, who dealt with me thru emails, made our stay unforgettable and wanted to come back next year.

DimAh3003 (10/5): Impeccable service - Spent two nights again, having previously visited earlier this year. The service at the hotel is impeccable. This started already with check-in by Kava and Lydia, who acknowledged our return and made us feel valued. This should be the standard at hotels, but is so often lacking. Unfortunately our stay was impacted by guests smoking on non-smoking floors. The staff did everything to rectify this, including a move to a new room, air purifiers etc. Ultimately this issue is of course out of their control, but we appreciated the recovery efforts led by Tiffany and also with the follow-up by Don the day after. I don’t usually name drop in reviews, but I felt the service from the staff was sincere and they really made every effort to make our stay pleasurable despite the issues. This is a great hotel; aside from the excellent service the rooms are fantastic and there are great swimming amenities. A real shame that certain guests feel they can smoke anywhere they like.

bmbplastering2016 (10/5): Really nice hotel great service and clean comfortable rooms - From walking in the door and being shown to check in the staff at the Marriot were freindly and helpfull throughout the stay. The room on 31st floor was immaculately clean and very spacious the lounge area food and drinks service was great too The pool area and the lazy river make the stay fly past( odd you need hand stamps but. Hey it doesn’t hurt ) The breakfast was really good great selection and fast service( we also had spoons and sugar o with the coffee something a lot of hotels seem To struggle with ) The only complaint was there wasn’t a place to get a late Night drink when returning from a Show! Lobby bar closes at 9.30 And that’s about the only real critique I can give Well done to team jaw Marriot Macau can you please train other he’s staff please !
katie23Wakefield (10/5): Great stay - Amazing stay from check in to check out. Lovely upgrade to a suite. The executive lounge was good with nice food options and drinks. The JW pool was pleasant and there was access to the Galaxy slow river and slides. Lots of choices at breakfast with attentive service. The gym was good with up to date equipment and very clean. The spa (in the next door Ritz Carlton) was very relaxing. Four very small items that didn’t impact stay (1) options for both salted and unsalted butter should be provided - worked around this by adding salt to the butter (2) a plastic band would be preferable to the ink stamps stamped on hands as it does smudge on clothing and has to be scrubbed off - as soon as we received the stamp we scrubbed off (3) there wasn’t much floor room in the gym and no bars for use in for example weighted squats - worked around by using a towel and did floor work in front of the cross trainers and put 2 dumbells on my shoulders - not as comfortable but did the trick and (4) there was no where in the hotel to obtain a nightcap as the hotel bars seem to close at 9pm - as such we wondered to the Broadway area - c10 mins walk away. As I said very small items and would definitely stay again.

The room was clean, spacious, and modernly decorated, making it a very comfortable stay. What impressed me most was the outstanding customer service. As an elite member, I felt truly valued at this property. Even though the hotel was fully booked, the staff at the Executive Lounge went above and beyond to arrange a nice room for me. A special thanks to Young and Inga from the lounge, who made my stay especially memorable. This hotel represents the very best of Marriott hospitality, and it is one of the main reasons I look forward to visiting Macau again soon.

We were lucky to miss the previous typhoon signal. Today, the weather is perfect – nice and not hot at all. We checked in at the executive lounge. This time, two Asian girls attended to us; they were extremely warm and patiently introduced all the hotel facilities. There are plenty of parent-child activities available. The room setup is wonderful too. They gave my kid a bathrobe-wearing teddy bear, which is absolutely adorable. A special shout-out to Victory and Ariel from the lounge staff – they were warm, patient, professional, and attentive.

Mr_Everywhere (10/5): Stylish Hotel in the Galaxy complex with great staff - Checked in quickly and went to executive lounge escorted by English speaking Soon ( great service) The lounge offers a modest but nice dinner for platinum members. We were greeted by Young who took good care of us every night and was very knowledgeable. The buffet breakfast at Urban crust was nice and had great selection ( Chinese, western, Korean, Indian and Japanese). Room was nice with great view and we got a lot of extras- bottle of wine, fruit plate and a Bday cake for my girlfriend ( nice touch from Soon). Gareth (10/5): Amazing Hotel - Really amazing hotel. The service was exceptional, the room was perfect. Everyone was very friendly and so attentive. They seem to have everything you could ever need in the room and the staff where very detail focussed, noticing we had a lot of shoes and had lots of charging cables so a shoe rack and cable ties arrived in an evening. The executive lounge I think is good value for money too, they say you have hors d'oeuvre and cocktails from 6pm but really it’s a buffet dinner and every type of drink. The location is very close to the strip and the Light Rail but being a separate complex (Galaxy) means it’s a bit quieter and easier when you want to step away but still have restaurants and shops available. Honestly, I think when I’m in the region again I’ll probably go for a couple of days just for the hotel. You also have access to some facilities in the Ritz Carlton, which has great restaurants and a super bar which is worth a visit. My thanks to Kayla and Celine at reception, Inga in the executive lounge, Rochelle the room attendant for making our stay so special!

Eadaoin (10/5): We had a fabulous relaxing stay. - The facilities in the hotel were fabulous. There was a beautiful pool and easy access to the grand deck resort water park too. It was located within walking distance of the rest of the strip to. The staff were amazing. They noticed it was as my husbands birthday in a few days time, from his passport at check in. They then provided him with two lovely surprises to the room.

Certosini (9/5): Great location and facilities. Check-in/out is not 5 star worthy - The hotel amenities are amazing. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable beds, plus kids are well taken care of. Breakfast buffet has a huge variety of Asian and international dishes and service is very good. It took us 35 minutes to check-in (not including waiting time in line). Then staff came up to our room because they forgot to take passport details. Check-out was also lengthy and staff over complicated things. I would expect from a 5 star hotel, that check-in and out is effortless and quick. We had four kids waiting and running around.
Ms (10/5): Great choice for a family vacation in Macau - Great location and facilities with grand resort deck just downstairs and kids club accessible for hotel guests too! Particularly appreciate all the staff at executive lounge, super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Great food and great service! The kids club in JW Marriott seems a bit small and charges fees even for hotel guests.

Patricia (10/5): Satisfied stay - The check-in was fast and smooth. No hip cups on the process and staffs were patient in explaining the procedures. The room is very spacious and facing the pool view, staff was very kind to help to upgrade the room for us due to my friend’s birthday trip. The conceige staff Amy was very helpful in explaining the routes and advised us to take the express bus to hk instead of taking the ferry. Highly recommended to stay. The housekeeper was very detailed by cleaning our luggage’s wheel and tidy up the place very well. Ample of space for yoga too

Room service is amazing. - We had a Premier Room booked for three days through Booking.com and for some reason could not book for the fourth day in the same room. We ended up booking the fourth day in a Standard Room with Trip.com. When we arrived, they upgraded our fourth day so that we may stay in the same room for the four days. The Premier Room was spacious and well designed with a modern feel. Just perfect for the two of us and our 2yo child. It looked over the resort deck and my child was very engaged in the view. Room service is amazing. They folded some of our clothing that had been strewn around and provided additional baggage horses so that our luggage can be accessed off the ground. Our child was provided with a care package. They hung our wet swim gear on the hanging line in the bathroom for us and provided cable management straps for all our personal electronic wiring. The only thing I can comment for improvement is the provision of drinking water fountains inside the Grand Resort Deck if not the hotel pool area. Access to potable water should be readily available. It is not only an inconvenience to the us as the guests but it should not be a luxury item to be charged at great expense. Free water bottles are provided in the hotel rooms, why not at the pool area as well where it is most needed?

Bee (10/5): Excellent service and fell home sweet home - The staff of JW Marriot especially when check in "Alexa" explain the hotel facilities very patient to me. Room service "Sue" did clean my room very nice and tidy. And "Grace" from the executive lounge fulfill all our request when we need help. NOPE!

We waited an hour for our turn to come up. Requested for an upgrade which took another hour to process and 2-3hr to get rooms. - English speaking staff to be added that will help international tourists
