• Shshamshul (6/5): Staff friendly. Breakfast food mostly cold - Staff is very friendly. The food during breakfast mostly very cold. Room very hot and we managed to ask the staff to repair it on the 2nd last day before we checked out. Bathroom lighting should be white lights instead of yellow as not bright enough.

The room was damp and moist, not soundproof, and they put me in a back room like for crews or something. When i told them about the mold, it was a disappointment because they offer me a spray? I mean it's so irrelevant.. stuffs also was unhelpful, no one was at the front door to show where the parking lot was. Could get a better one in the city with the same price tbh. I checked out only a few hours after my stay and they didnt offer me a discount or anything to make it up.

• endros453 (8/5): Overall my group are happy - Mr Ardian The General Manager and Ms Vebby - Sales Executive are very well organized person to lead all entire team of Solaris Hotel Malang to make our stay comfortable one. This hotel is not young anymore as many new hotels open. They need to do good maintenance for cleanliness of the room especially bad smell from the drainage as well as downstairs at level one from garbage room. The room is quetly convenient, FB Staff is alright nevertheless need to pay extra atttention to cleaning up some left over immediately before asking. Many cigarette buts were not good taking care. The major outstanding points are friendly and helpfull staff of Front Desk and Security Guard. Keep up the good work and do better for the rest to win tough competition in the city.

• sheilarM9267EO (10/5): Perfect stay at Solaris Hotel Malang - I stayed at Solaris Hotel Malang for a few nights and it ended up being one of the most pleasant surprises during my trip to East Java. The location is super convenient, close to the nearest airport (18 minutes away by car), and perfectly positioned between the routes to Bromo and Batu, which made exploring the area really easy. My room was clean, airy, and comfortable, with strong Wi-Fi and a beautiful city view. Breakfast was surprisingly good with a nice mix of local and international dishes. What stood out most was the staffs, everyone was genuinely kind, helpful, and made me feel very welcome. With all the promos they offer, the value for money is excellent. I’d happily stay here again when visiting Malang.

Swimming pool is clean and crystal clear water, breakfast menu is complete with various menu like Indonesian taste. Cleanliness is good enough for 3 stars hotel and they just on progress for their Villas project this year. Recommended for stay!

• CaesiliaAriska (10/5): One night stay which left long lasting memory - We are coming with big group from Bali and checked in on March 2nd, 2024 only for a short stop 1 night. Even only for a short stop, our stay was incredible. Started with our first moment stepped in to the hotel, we embraced by the warm and welcoming atmosphere by all team here. The room is comfortable with completed amenities. The hotel also offers wide-range breakfast choice. Their sautéed vegetables (capcay) was one of the star! ⭐️ The staff even makes a special Nasi Goreng as our requested and help us to make coffee which we bring by our own. The overall ambience of the hotel, with its thoughtful touches and attention to detail, made our stay unforgettable. Although I regret the duration of our stay, we hope to return for a longer time next time. Cheers!

• Troy (4/5): Breakfast included, but it isn't!! - We won't come back here. First impressions are king, and they were bad. First they informed us upon checkin that although we had purchased "including breakfast" for the 3 pax family rooms (×2), they were only giving us one breakfast per room per day. Ie, we were going to have to pay for the kids. We ordered the kids room service that night. It took nearly an hour and was almost cold (kids fish & chips and nuggets). My wife and I went to the restaurant, the menu was limited, so i went with one of the 3 Nasi Goreng options, none were available (in Indonesia?). Trying to sleep was a nightmare due to the heat (the AC was not up to it), and the outside road noise, and in one night also due to downstairs karaoke. Also bad. Location - nothing nearby except Hawai Water Park, limited English speaking staff, poor and cold breakfast (except white rice), limited menu, tiny rooms, no luggage or cupboard space. Good. Pool is good, staff are lovely, rooms and hotel is clean

• Made (7/5): For a 1 on business trip. - The breakfast (buffet all you can eat) type was very pleasant with good quality food. The hotel is good for a 1 night stay for a work trip. Rooms are correct but avoid the room on road side (very noisy from early morning to late evening). The area has nothing to show at all. Just road.
• williamp51 (2/5): Bad experience for family - I knew that this hotel is only 3 stars but the staff don't have understanding to situation of the guest.. I arrived at the hotel at 11.30 am. My doughter have just threw up on the way to the hotel from surabaya, so i explained all to the receiptionist so maybe i can get an early check in but the answer is a BIG NO. I have to wait until 2pm to get my room. She could saw that my daughter's shirt was dirty and her condition is at a bad shape. But we still can't get check in. At the end she told me to pay 100thousand rupias to get early check in. Im very2 dissapointed
• siskanaomi (8/5): Simple and Chic - The interior design is quite adorable, it's clean and comfy. Though the building may be a bit old, it's simply recommendable for staycation or short holiday as the price is also affordable and the location is near to the city and inter-city access.
• CHIAN LIM (8/5): Normal room normal hotel - It's just a very normal stay for me. The room is considered fine. The aircon was not really working but the technician did come and clean it for us. The TV was noisy but they also able to fix it at last. The service attitude was good. Breakfast is not really satisfying, choices are very little.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - very small room, uncovenience for guest who bring 2 or 3 suitcase, no breakfast, yes we knew it before but for the price given should be compliment with breakfast located in remote area in Malang suburb (Kabupaten Malang) not in the town of malang
• pastelarasaty (6/5): The last resort - Booked this hotel only because others were full. The location is actually good but the traffic was horrible all day all night long. There is a waterpark nearby though so you can always escape to this place. Hotel staff WERE INCREDIBLE very friendly, helpful and skilled. Restaurant food was so so, but room was big enough for a family with 2 babies. Pool was clean and big enough although towel had to be asked for instead of prepped by a staff around. The AC in my room was frozen and threw ice when set less than 24C, TV had one or two channels in bad signal. Cleanliness was very well managed. No fitness centre so I think making one would be a great idea. Shout out to Mbak Pipit for surprising me with a banana frittes birthday cake, so lovely of her & her team. Overall, it’s a fair enough satisfaction compared to what I paid & expected.

It should be obvious for the hotel staff but it seem it is normal in this hotel. Cleanliness standard is very low in this hotel.There are no non smoking room in this hotel. Breakfast is below average. Parking lot is at the back of the hotel and quite far from the lobby entrance.

In the end heavy traffic prevented us for such plan, so the first day we only went around Batu, then we had our lunch in Malang before returning home on the second day. The hotel itself is just okay; can't expect much on a budget hotel such as this one. Room and amenities are basic. The staff are courteous though and breakfast offers quite a variety of foods for a 3-star hotel.

• Eddy (8/5): Mantapppp - Secara umum cukup memuaskan, yang kurang hanya suara dari luar terdengar sampai kedalam kamar, sampai sampai suara dikamar sebelah ada menggeser kursi terdengar sampai di kamar.
• hariyadi (10/5): Liburan keluarga - Hotelnya nyaman cocok untuk keluarga karena ada pilihan room family...dan jg akses ke kota batu tidak terlalu jauh...
• William AW (6/5): Comfortable for budget hotel - Overall is very good for the budget hotel. The only things is the location of the hotel that far from city. Around 10-15 min using taxi to reach the city of Malang.
