Had all the amenities I needed…ONLY a gas station w/ Church’s Fried Chicken and a Jack - Breakfast was good I am from out of state (came in from NC) I chose hotel b:c of its proximity to IAH AND the fact that there was an airport shuttle. BUT, when requesting a shuttle for my departure on Mar 28, 2026 the front desk told me that it didn’t start until 6am. I explained that there is a govt shutdown! Passengers are told to arrive 4 hrs before departure. Hampton Inn can’t accommodate their guests for an unprecedented situation that affects the whole country? No sympathy…not her problem.

• Ronald (3/5): bad area, bad experience, would not stay or recomend this Hampton Inn - not much we were out of power and water for the whole morning, no breakfast, no shower, no electric. It ruined our plans for the morning. i would like a refund for the one day

• Robert (8/5): Nice hotel, but where is the airport shuttle? - The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are spacious and more like a suite than a regular hotel room. The bathrooms are large and well-equipped. The television is enormous and on a swivel so it can be seen from anywhere in the room. The free breakfast downstairs was well-stocked and perfectly adequate. I chose this hotel solely for its proximity to the airport and its free shuttle service, but when I arrived at IAH there was no shuttle and no one to answer the phone or text at the hotel. After waiting almost an hour I finally took an Uber. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that the shuttle wasn't currently operating and they didn't have a timeline for when it would come back into service. I'm sorry but travelers from far away really need to know these facts in advance when making arrangements. And travelers on a budget really don't like unexpected expenses to the tune of north of $60.

• Priyanka (4/5): I would not return to facility again and they charge me extra $50 for early check in which is not pleasant - I like the location . Not match with expectations. We thought it’s Hampton inn but it was not impressive . It has no locked bathroom doors , beds are small in size . has no shower cap kept in bathroom for use . It’s not bad but not impressive either

I asked the hotel to cancel our reservation in hopes of them understanding and providing a refund. Not only that, two nights before another vehicle was stolen as well. In my opinion the staff is behind those thefts.

The room was nice and big and offered everything you could need. The was a problem with their shuttle and 2 of our part members needed to get to the airport, they quickly got them an Uber and paid for it and was so please and nice about it.

There is some traffic noise but that's to be expected given the location We had to wait over an hour for the shuttle due to the hotel next door apparently borrowing it and not returning it until late. We had to call the hotel a few times to find out what was going on. Not a great first impression after a 10hr flight. We didn't have a problem the next morning going back to the airport.
• Simon (1/5): Absolutely atrocious AVOID this place - I did not like this property at all The toilet seat wasn’t bolted on, and I fell on the floor. The phone didn’t work in the room so they switched it with another phone from another room. This meant I didn’t get an alarm call. The Wi-Fi in the room did not work. The shower leaked all over the floor. At breakfast water came out of the machine instead of orange juice.

Our booking was supposed to be inclusive of all taxes but we were charged $5.85 per room environment tax at the hotel. Booking .com are currently looking into this.

• Christianna (1/5): I am not impressed with this hotel, please read if you have a family with littles. - There was only one person who worked with us that we liked, the staff was otherwise rude and refused to help us. The breakfast served was not bad, the receptionist was what made the environment sour. My family stayed at the same hotel a week or so apart. The issue that arose was a smaller room for a higher price, non-welcoming accommodations. A cricket was roaming our room and in my sons pack-n-play, bloody stain on the blanket, and a musty smell throughout the room. The receptionist was refusing to contact a manager or even help our family make sense of what was happening. No one could locate information from our first stay and then also boldly lied about room sizing and accommodation. We were told our first room was an ADA Compliant handicap room (which was most definitely not) and that all rooms were the same size, which one could easily tell was a lie due to the fire escape routs posted in each room displaying the rooms and exits. Even with how convenient the location was, my family will not be staying here again! We were told the manager would reach out to us, yet they have not made any efforts to do so.
