Located in residential neighbourhood and our room was quiet. We did not explore beyond hotel because of a late arrival and early departure.
- Curiosity00344933068 (10/5): Lovely Inn with homemade touches - This is a gem in Drumheller. We were greeted by cheerful staff, shown to our room, which was very spacious, clean, well organized, and best of all, access to a private patio area. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the Heartwood Inn to everyone planning to stay in Drumheller. It's a very short drive to Rosewood and great theatre.
- Zachary (8/5): Nice place - Stayed on a weeknight. It was very quiet. The staff were super friendly. Enjoyed a walk around the neighborhood, and it is also located close to downtown To get breakfast is an additional charge that we opted out of.
We were only there for one night, but there weren't any downsides to our stay
- Greg (10/5): - The Staff (owners) were very friendly and courteous. Made our staff exceptional , we will go back.

- PeasmoldWW (10/5): high marks - Staying here was such a relief after finding only rather grim chain motels for most of my trip. Heartwood is a funky old house with nooks and crannies, random furniture and generally a high standard of comfort. My room had a big jacuzzi style bath – though I didn’t dare try the bubbles. I had a lockable door to the outside, leading into the front garden adorned with – what else – large model dinosaurs. The only minor defects were that the night-light in the toilet seemed to be non-functional (maybe I just never found the right button?), and breakfast was extra, which seems a bit odd for a B&B. Though I decided to skip breakfast anyway, since the only menu item was sweet and carb-rich which didn’t suit; instead I went down the street for breakfast to Vintage, open from 0730. Overall, high marks for a delightful stay.
- Hakkers (9/5): Great location. Nice place - Great place. Friendly staff Everything was good
- hurei (10/5): Great little place to stay - We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service and support from staff a 10 out of 10. This stay offers character, lots of nooks and seating areas inside and out, and is close to the downtown.

- Lachance (10/5): -
- Teresa (8/5): - Owners very nice. Good size room with new bathroom. Ashtray at top of back stairs needed to be emptied.
- Becky (10/5): Warm, welcoming, clean character inn. - I loved the service, the thoughtfulness of the owners and how little things that may have been forgotten at home were available at the inn. I loved the character of the place, the comfort of the bed and the very soft sheets. The spa tube was nice to soak in at candlelight. It felt clean and had such a calm atmosphere. Everything was great!
- Bee (10/5): - Very cute little inn. Friendly staff and the room was clean and spacious. There was a lot of construction in town when we were there so we walked a fair amount. It was a quick walk to the big dinosaur, downtown, and restaurants.
- Dana (10/5): We will definitely go back to the Heartwood Inn. It has so much character in a perfect location. - The room was cozy and clean. The location was walking distance to everything we needed. The family who runs the Inn was wonderful. We had a bit of trouble with the lock on our door, but that was an easy fix.
- Tom (10/5): -
- Bruna (10/5): We hope to return with our family - Staff were great - family run. Bathroom was recently renovated. Windows open. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, microbreweries. There is construction nearby which might mean an earlier start to the day for some people. Didn’t bother us.
- RL (10/5): Lovely and friendly inn is a lot more personal than a hotel chin. - The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and nice. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Drumheller.
- Justine (10/5): Fantastic-would definitely stay again - Staff were amazing. Great location. Felt like staying with a friend. Great backyard to relax. Nothing
- Shawn (8/5): Just try it for a change. Wonderful family run place. - Great place to stay. I like non-chain hotels if I can , and this is a wonderful spot. Awesome for solo traveler or couple.
- Rob (10/5): To sum it up it was worth it. In a world where an online customer can and does get misled it was nice to see all was re - The owner / operators are very respectful and friendly to the customers. You see they are very genuine All good!!
- Villamizar (9/5): Superb - The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and staff was lovely.
- Alan (10/5): What a find! - Loved this place. Like a bnb but you have your own entrance and outdoor lounge area. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- Barbara (7/5): Good - Loved the ambience and the antiques. Bed was comfortable. The staff was excellent. It was too pricey.
- Eva (10/5): - This Inn is so wonderful! The rooms are so cozy and the bedding is beyond comfortable. I usually pack blankets and pillows with me everywhere I go on vacation because I prioritize a good nights sleep, but I didn’t need them here! The shower had a wonderful rain nozzle, and we had a wonderful French toast breakfast before we hit the road! Every room is super private, and only a short walk away from Drumheller’s dinosaur attractions. I highly recommend :)
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Doreen (10/5): - A quant little stay with antique furnishings and off street parking. The room was beautiful, bed comfortable, a gas heater and little couch by the window to relax. The owner was personable, friendly and made you feel at home. It is within walking distance to downtown and some restaurants.
- Krentz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marian (10/5): A beautiful inn with very comfortable rooms and amenities. Delicious breakfast! -
- Derwin (9/5): Superb -
- Adam (10/5): - Room was very clean and in good shape. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Would recommend and would book again.
- Aggie (8/5): - The town of Drumheller is nothing to write home about, but the Heartwood Inn is a delight. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the room and bed are very comfortable.
Avoid the Diana Chinese restaurant...terrible Chinese food and service.
- Robert (9/5): IF you come to Drumheller to explore the badlands and see the Royal tyrel Museum, the heatwood in i - Heartwood is run by a husband and wife duo that go above and beyond to ensure a happy visit to the town of Drumheller. The accommodations were surprisingly plush with a variety of small touches to make us feel comfortable. Teas, coffees, snacks etc. That we could only stay one day.
- Alex (10/5): - I liked the decor a lot the bed was comfy and it was easy to walk to downtown
- Heather (10/5): Quaint Romantic Getaway for two - The rooms were amazing. Unfortunately, the TV did not work in the original room I had reserved. After trying to rectify the problem, they quickly moved us to the turret room across the hall. A massive upgrade. Both rooms were amazing! The main lady that owns the place was wonderful! So kind, polite and ultra helpful.
We chose to have the breakfast. It was delightful! Two slices of french toast stuffed with blueberries/raspberries/blackberries. Then an array of fresh fruit and whip cream circled the plate. Hot maple syrup was served on the side. Delicious! Fresh squeezed OJ and a plethora of coffee and tea choices were available. Super value for the price. Definitely coming back. Wonderful place for a mini-getaway. Not an issue for us....but for some folks the stairs up to the rooms may have been an issue. It is an older house with lots of rooms. The stairs up are steep and narrow, as well as the back exit stairs are rather steep.
We managed quite fine, others may not.
- Parsons (10/5): A great place to stay - This place was a great find. The room was clean, nicely furnished and a good size. The staff were all fantastic, I wish I could have stayed longer than just 1 night. While breakfast is not included, it was delicious and well worth the extra cost (which wasn't too much considering how good it was). Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Drumheller, you really can't go wrong with it.
- River (10/5): - The staff were super friendly! The room was beautifully decorated, and the inn itself was cozy. The location allows for easy access to the town.
- Jaden (10/5): - Very good stay, would recommend for anyone staying in drumheller
- Stephen (9/5): Fun, easy, would stay again. - The people were kind and explained everything we needed when we arrived. The room was nice with a unique layout. The shower was great. Pillows were comfortable but a big thin for our preference. That was minor though.
- Morris (10/5): - Was just fine! Attentive owners.
- EvyDel (10/5): Don’t think about any other place, this one is THE best!!!! - Best place to stay in Drumheller. The owners are THE sweetest people who know how to make you feel welcome. Bed is the best towels the whitest, fireplace, private entry and the breakfast is worth purchasing it was so delicious 5 different fruits, juice, Saskatoon berry stuffed French toast. Rooms are spacious and have everything! Coffee and snacks always available. Loved this B&B
- Marliana (9/5): Superb - I loved the house, the staff. The room was very clean and felt comfortable to be in. The breakfast I ordered was outstanding, good bang for your buck ❤️ The door to my room is on the outside and unfortunately it is an older door with no proper seal around it. So I found a lot of spiders, box elder bugs, months etc would make their way in. These are new owners and I am sure they will be fixing these minor issues sooner than later.
- Riho (10/5): - Delightful place, new ownership now for 2 months with very hospitable personalities. Not suitable for people who can’t climb stairs. The room we got had a fireplace, and a very modern bathroom with a multiple head shower and was comfortable in a homey way that corporate hotels can not match.
- Darius (9/5): great hosts with a nice property - hospitality of the hosts, cleanliness small closet space
- Kali (10/5): Awesome!! Will stay again :) - It was in a beautiful area and very clean Nothing!!
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): A very unique and pleasant experience and the owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. -
- CalgaryCutie51 (10/5): Great spot, we’ll definitely be back! - Highly recommended! We reserved the Upper Turret Room which features a king sized bed, fireplace, and a 4-piece bathroom with a double sized whirlpool tub. It was a hot weekend and the air conditioning kept us perfectly cool, the bed was super comfortable and it was quiet. There’s a bar fridge and the room comes with all the necessary toiletries. The new owners of the inn are great. Everything is neat and clean and they welcomed us with a plate of cookies and some water and juice. In the mornings there are multiple kinds of coffee, some granola bars, homemade muffins or oatmeal if you prefer. It’s a good location, on a quiet street, walking a distance to restaurants & pubs, only a few minute drive away from the Badlands Amphitheatre (oh my gosh, was a stunning venue, if you haven’t been here you must come) and 12 minutes from a VERY challenging golf course. This was our second stay at the Heartwood and we will definitely be back.
- Jane (8/5): A relaxing, comfortable stay - will definitely be back - The friendly welcome (great customer service!), fresh muffins, fruit and tea and coffee, being able to access the car directly from the back door of our room without having to go through the inn, a peaceful night's sleep A very minor point but as someone with arthritic knees I am finding it harder to climb in and out of baths without assistance, but as I travelled with a partner this was not a problem
- Cassian (10/5): - Really cute and great location best downtown
- Ceri (10/5): Friendly and quiet place to rest your head right in the middle of town - very convenient. - The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The Inn was full of character with a friendly crowd. I paid extra for breakfast and boy was I happy about this, even though it already came with unlimited coffee and snacks! I had my own terrace and separate entrance to my room - with an amazing bathroom with all the toiletries I needed, from cotton buds, to clean towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner etc. I well equipped BnB - would gladly stay again. Not a lot to improve, it was a lovely stay!
- sandra (6/5): - Carpet was old in halls and had a smell. Our bathroom also smelled and has tape on shower walls. ? Mold but the staff was wonderful and the bedroom and bed were comfortable
