The pristine setting offers stunning, panoramic views from every angle and provides an immediate sense of tranquility, making it the perfect escape from city life. We stayed in a spacious, impeccably clean lake-view suite. The private balcony and deep soaking tub offered true relaxation, but the greatest luxury was the peaceful view of the lake from our room, ensuring an exceptional night's sleep and ultimate comfort. The Gold Standard of Hospitality: Manager Vivian Li The true standout of our stay was the absolutely top-tier service. The entire team demonstrated genuine warmth and professionalism, but we must emphatically single out Manager Vivian Li. Her service attitude was beyond exemplary—it was the gold standard of hospitality. She was professional, proactive, and provided such personalized, attentive care that she transformed our luxurious stay into a truly bespoke and memorable experience. Her dedication to guest satisfaction is simply outstanding, and she is a tremendous asset to the hotel. Superb Facilities and Dining The facilities are wonderful, highlighted by the magical infinity pool overlooking the lake. The dining, particularly the wide-ranging breakfast buffet and exquisite dishes at the Chinese restaurant, was superb. Final Verdict The Hilton Yuxi Fuxian Lake is a destination we cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks to the fantastic setting and the dedication of the staff, especially Manager Vivian Li, we left feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated. Highly recommended for a perfect, luxury escape in Yunnan.

Комната большая, все необходимое есть. Нам не дали комнату с видом на озеро, но зато предоставили лаунж бесплатно, где можно было получить как снеки с 3 до 5, так и полноценный ужин (горячее, салаты, фрукты, десерт, несколько сортов алкоголя) с 6 до 8 вечера. По вечерам мы могли наслаждаться культурной программой - смотрели завораживающий танец огня, так же могли сами принимать участие в традиционном Юннаньском хороводе вокруг костра и танцевать! Мы остались очень довольны. Мы ожидали умный туалет (говорящий унитаз). Но был обычный. :-)

- zsx11 (4/5): Room has cigarette smoke smell at midnight - What's good: The breakfast is really wonderful. The view is also nice. What's bad: When booking, I had added request for non smoking connecting rooms but hotel staff said the connecting rooms are not available and the manager said that the computer system didn't show the request. I had booked directly from Hilton app, the problem is that the original request and original booking cannot be viewed because the hotel changed to other rooms and the system only reflects the latest modified by hotel. The manager gave some night dessert to compensate and said they upgraded the room. But there's no air con in the room, so hot that I had to on ceiling fan while night and at midnight or so, I can smell cigarette smoke even when balcony doors are closed. It's such a miserable night for me.

- 984kayat (10/5): Amazing hotel with best view and friendly staff - I’ve visited this place last month and it was such a great hotel to enjoy holiday. You won’t feel cold here even though it is winter time in China as people call here Spring city. Hotel was quite busy during CNY with many families traveling for NY celebration and had so many cultural activities to attend. Food was amazing with many options such as dinner buffet, a la cart menu for local cuisine and Cantonese cuisine in Chinese restaurant. Staffs were friendly and energetic for great service. In general, a relaxing trip in this hotel for 3 nights and will come back for next visit for sure.

The hotel is very clean and nicely designed. We loved the walks down to the lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here.

- pingshanl (8/5): Gorgerous view, friendly staff but strange food experience - The overall experience was good, very friendly and professional front desk manager and concierge. But the food have left me a deep impression. We tried the western style restaurant during labor day afternoon around 15:00, the only restaurant opened at irregular meal time. But the food and service is wired and terrible. The waitress feels somewhat reluctant to convey our orders to the chef when we want to order some more dishes. Maybe the chef is irritated when asked to cook during irregular working time？The fries are squishy and stale and the avocados in Cobb salad(which takes 20+mins to chopping)is entirely RAW！ As hard as stone…. . The whole salad is more like a boiled vegi complex but not salad, and why there is boiled celery in Cobb Salad!!! We barely take a bite and leave the restaurant. We inform the manager and they send a fruit plate to our room, but I don’t think they have noticed what was going on.

- ben (8/5): Great hotel, need to work on customer service - Overall very nice hotel with beautiful location, grounds and facilities. Breakfast very good. The outdoor pool is amazing and you will have it mostly to yourself during the day as Chinese people don't like to get a tan, so they usually only go in it early morning and late afternoon onwards. My wife told me she heard several kids calling their parents stupid for being scared of the sun! Dinner caused a great fuss because we paid for dinner expecting a buffet to be offered, but they didn't offer it on any of our weeknights, and instead offered a "set" with a salad, a pizza and watermelon juice. We turned this down as being far too limited and after much unpleasant haggling in which the staff tried to tell my wife that we were the only people ever to complain about this, and one staff member suggested pretending to be the manager, they offered us 300RMB to spend against the menu (but only in their main restaurant). My wife was so angry with their attitude until getting to that point that she ended up speaking to the actual hotel manager who, to her credit, gave us immediate access to the executive lounge where we could get drinks and food all day long, and also agreed to refund the dinner cost through hotels.com. That began another saga of calling hotels.com in America, who seem to be staffed by very nice but hard to understand native Spanish speakers, including one lady working from home with a barking dog in the background!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Beautiful hotel - Upon checking in the receptionist on duty was very friendly but does not speak English very well. I wanted two rooms with connecting door and she tried to help but unable find the availability. However, she managed put both rooms next to one another but the rooms were located very far from the elevator which was not ideal at all. My room airconditioning system was not working. Although I put the temperature at lowest it was warm . Fortunately there was a ceiling fan which I had to leave it on the whole night. Other than this, the room size is big and nice and also the bathroom is luxurious. We had breakfast at the hotel which was very good spread. The location is too far from the airport as it took us more than 2 hours to arrive at the hotel. Fortunately we hired a car to drive there or else we will not know how to get there. The hotel should provide free shuttle service as the hotel is located in such a remote place, far away from everything though it has a stupendous view of the lake.

- Shakil (10/5): Good location for relaxing - Upon arrival I was shocked to know that hotels.com had misinformation on room size. I booked a 900 sqft room clearly printed on my print out from hotels.com, but was given 400 sqft even after showed it to the manager. The management said it was a mistake on hotels.com. The bathroom commode was leaking, which we realized day before we left the hotel! The Chinese restaurant staffs were great and very helpful. All supporting stuffs were great. I thought the room cleaning staff were not happy working and their job wasn't up to standard. All these can be rectified and this really could be a great hotel in Yunnan. Breakfast was huge & great.
- Kate and Ed (10/5): A grand new hotel with spectacular lake views - We stayed for five magical nights in this magnificent new hotel overlooking the beautiful and pristine Lake Fuxian. The room was palatial and tastefully decorated. The food was first class at the hotel and the staff service excellent. The indoor and outdoor pools were very attractive as was the lake beach. We would definitely recommend staying here for the perfect get away whether it be a romantic honeymoon or family holiday. Hiring a car from Kunming would probably be a good idea as public transport to the hotel is very difficult. Alternatively we found a lovely local taxi driver who took us to the various tourist attractions throughout our stay.
