- Gabrielle Nicole (10/5): - Love the Anumana. Perfect location for walking in to central Ubud where the markets/palace is. Several routes you can take to change it up and lots to look at on the way. Many quality restaurants/cafes on your doorstep. Coco supermarket at the end of the street for snacks etc. Highly recommend :)

- Timothy (10/5): - A real key attached to a large piece of wood? Seemed clunky and outdated. Some of the tiles in the pool were missing but didn’t really detract from the beautiful pool area. I actually really liked the pool area! Easy walk to the money forest and the downtown area. A lot of street vendors just an easy walk away.

Said room was almost ready but made us wait over an hour (past check in) to get entry. Pool was very uninviting so didn't use. For the price I expected better. It was OK but not what was expected from other reviews. Room security an issue. No lock on pool access doors, just a catch. Doors didn't fully close so very easy to open from outside the room. A disappointing stay. Don't understand great reviews. Yes it is in Ubud but the wrong end (find one near the Palce end of the street).
- Ashlee (8/5): - The hotel is conveniently located next to the monkey park, lots of restaurants and stores. The breakfast options that are included are good, lots of choices for everyone. Be aware the monkeys will come onto your balcony and/or by the pool and will take your stuff.

It was hard to leave. Felt like family. Food, breakfast, dinner was amazing. Beautiful grounds and pool area. Quiet even for being in Central Ubud. Monkey Forest 5 minute walk. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. Highly recommend as a place to park your bags and explore Bali.

Stayed in a room with plunge pool which added a touch of luxe. The bathtub in the room would fit 4 easily! Just huge!! The Main pool was well kept and restaurant served amazing meals. The breakfast was really good also with a decent a-la-carte variety to choose from. The monkeys climbing about doing their thing around the front of property is a bonus. Would I stay at Anumana again when in Ubud... ABSOLUTELY!! Thank you to the wonderful staff that made every moment of our stay comfortable and welcoming.

- Roy (8/5): - Well located in the centre of Ubud. Monkey Forest a short walk away. The pool whilst shallow is easy to access. Staff where so frendly and help full. Breakfast very nice, the coffee is really strong and thick. The only downside we had was the bed was very hard, but might suit other people. And the room next to us had very loud guests however that is not the hotels fault.

The pool was really nice, albeit there being some broken tiles to watch out for. There was an issue with our room and they were able to move us to a new room immediately for the rest of our stay. They also provided free massages as compensation. The hotel itself is a tad run down which is noticeable but overall in an amazing location. The breakfast was also really good everyday. It is alacarte but has a ton of choices and is made fresh!

The breakfast and lunch/dinner options were also great. We enjoyed several of their cultural shows and entertainment. The monkeys were an additional treat!

Other than breakfast (which was great) we didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant as there are some fabulous eateries within 5 minutes - Ibu Susu was our favourite and just across the road. It is well located for dining and drinking and the monkey forest is just next door. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated, clean, with great facilities and the staff cannot do enough for you. We had a superior room with pool view and had everything we needed - but we only really slept there as there was too much to do outside the hotel. A highlight was having coffee on the balcony first thing in the morning and watching the monkeys creating havoc around the pool! I would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Ubud.

It’s conveniently located right where all the shops and restaurants are, plus the monkey forest. It’s quiet, even though it’s centrally located. We enjoyed our stay here and would likely return.

- Simon (10/5): Absolutely Wonderful - An amazing stay at the hotel. The rooms are big and clean. We had a private dipping pool, which was lovely. The air conditioning is very effective and the hotel kept lovely and cold. Beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. Easy to get Grabs from to explore the island. There is very little not to like about the hotel and overall a super experience. We felt safe and were very well looked after. We ate twice in the hotel. Food was lovely and not overly expensive compared to others in the area. Service was very slow on both occassions. The only thing that i did not like was that they check the room thoroughly in order to check you have not stolen or broken anything. There is a list up saying the cost for a briken glass or cup etc. It just did not feel the nicest way to leave what felt like such a lovely and luxurious experience. However, it would not stop me going back as it was wonderful but i would like to leave without being checked like a thief!!

They provide free breakfast if staying at the hotel and I ate their famous avocado toast during my stay here. I would recommend this place if staying in Ubud.
- Yuet (10/5): - Spent a week at Anumana Hotel Ubud. The hotel has traditional Balinese interior design. The hospitality is above and beyond. My room came with free breakfasts, and I took advantage of this every morning. It is not your typical breakfast buffet, but you get to choose items from a menu. They had both Western and Indonesian offerings. Everything I tried was delicious. The staff here is amazing and made me feel at home. I would recommend anyone staying in Ubud to at Anumana Hotel.

The pool has a lot of tiles loose or missing (although still beautiful and relaxing, it was a concern having children). Close to restaurants and a grocery store, and the monkey forest, but not so much any shopping.

Notre air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas bien.Dès que nous les avons informé et bien tout de suite ils s’en occuper.Le manager nous a offert une autre chambre avec un dédommagement et le lendemain ils installèrent une nouvelle machine.Incroyable autant de service.En plus, le lendemain nous avons eu une autre surprise que le manager nous offraient chacun un massage gratuit pour les inconvénients.Tout le personnel est incroyable.Je vous le recommande fortement.Très bien situé si vous aimez les singes.

The monkeys were great entertainment every morning at breakfast! Very clean room, comfortable bed, and beautiful view of the pool, lush vegetation and flowers from our balcony! We felt at home!
- Samantha (10/5): Great Location, would stay again. - It’s such a great location. Walking distance to everything, including the monkey forest. The staff were wonderful. The room was clean, tidy and spacious, with a view, looking at the back of the property and the front. I loved all the natural sunlight. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, then this is not the property for you because it’s close to the street so you can hear the hustle and bustle. And the music played in the restaurant is quite loud until around 10 pm I had a welcome fruit basket in my room for arrival, which was a nice touch. I would definitely go back and stay at this property again. The day spa across the road. It’s great too, but I didn’t use the one in the hotel. When checking in just make sure they don’t try to charge you again. I had already prepaid.

- Rebecca (10/5): - We were recommended this property through friends, what we liked most is the central location, close to great restuarants and bars. We stayed 3 nights, nothing was a problem, clean rooms. We had pool access rooms and the accessibility to the pool was great. Of an afternoon Monkeys would visit and cause a bit of mayhem if you were by the pool, trying to take your water bottles off day bed etc, the staff would act quickly to move them on when they noticed. We would gladly stay here again, we absolutely loved our stay here.
- Crystal (8/5): - The rooms were clean and a good size. We had interconnecting rooms for our family of 4. The balcony has monkeys visit every morning from 6:30am. They jump from balcony to balcony and make some noise so prepare to be woken up unless you’re a heavy sleeper! We didn’t mind the early wake up call though as it allowed us to start our day. The staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was a La carte off the menu with fresh fruit juice and a fruit platter to start every morning. The hotel was on a main road and just a few minutes away from the monkey forest. A million restaurants to choose from at your doorstep. The pool was a bit small but did the job for a dip! Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend the hotel.

- Chelsea (10/5): - The Anumana exceeded our expectations for our stay in Bali. The property and room was beautiful. Loved the pool and on site restaurant. The included breakfast was amazing. Very walkable to everything in Ubud. The front desk staff went above and beyond to meet any requests, including arranging airport transportation. The only thing that could have been better was our experience at the spa. We got 2, 1 hour Balinese massages which we scheduled a day in advance. The masseuse was late, and one of them even answered a phone call on her cellphone during my massage. The room itself was not a very relaxing environment as we could hear traffic passing by outside. So if a spa experience is what you’re looking for, maybe go elsewhere but the hotel itself was fantastic.

We felt like Anumana was in the perfect location, close enough to everything but not too loud or busy either. We will recommend Anumana to anyone heading to Bali, Ubud is such a fantastic area too

- Clarence (10/5): Great hotel in a great loaction - Anumana Hotel is absolutely brilliant. Its position is central to absolutely everything around Ubud, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the rooms are modern, spacious and very clean. Anumana is highly recommended as a great place to stay to discover all that is Ubud. All of the staff are outstanding, however, I would like to mention one,I was negligent in getting his name but a staff member that really stood out lives near the Pende Ege Babi Guling restaurant and gave us the best advice and service that you could desire.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Anumana rocks! - What a beautiful place! Comfortable and excellent food. We never had to worry about getting sick from eating at their restaurant. We loved the wonderful pool. The entire staff was fabulous and we left as big tips as we could. We also liked that the hotel staff included tour guides and concierge services and spa services. We hardly did anything besides sight-see outside of the hotel. We felt they did an especially good job as we were there at the COVID-19 outbreak, and right before a major holiday. I think the massage therapist came in to give me a massage on her day off. The staff also showed me how to do some of their traditional basket making with coconut palm leaves. Another fun thing was that on 2 nights/week, there was live entertainment in the dining area.

However, the hotel neither offered a shuttle service nor called a taxi for me. All they said was that I needed to grab a taxi outside the hotel which was very inconvenient. Also, I didn’t feel safe during one night as there was a neighbor or hotel resident screaming at 3:30 am. This lasted for over 30 min and ruined my sleep.

Rooms are so-so, a bit old style (old style key lock doors). But the service is really good, people are nice and generally willing to help. We would recommend if location is your preference.
