- MARVIS (4/5): - The night receptionist was a wonderful lady, I had an early arrival, she offered me a safe place to crash. The early receptionist was so unfriendly, I paid 1000 baht for an early check in not an issue. The room I was offered, was in the new building with tiny corridors and steps with mattresses on the wayside. Lift from one floor to the other old building. Very confusing, a fellow quest had to show me the way. I requested a room change as I was becoming anxious. Eventually got a room in the old building. I was harassed by the breakfast waitress, as soon as I served my breakfast, she accosted me at the middle of the floor for payment, I told her to let me place my food on the table as the money was in my waist bag. I started eating as the food was getting cold, she kept on harassing me for money, pacing up and down staring at me as if I was going to do a runner because of 199 baht i recorded everything.
- katj725 (8/5): Very good stay - With three-day in Bangkok, the First Hotel was one of our good places. The hotel is located in the heart of shopping and eating areas. Room are very clean and the AC is super cool which is amazing for us. The breakfast is very good and the staff service is very friendly and supportive. We are sure to come back. By the way, thank you
- nlstnly (6/5): It was ok - Stayed for a week during year-end holiday. Place is okay, near to lot of shopping centre and street foods are just one-step away. Hotel was average, room is big enough for luggage and stuffs, air conditioning works as intended. Bathroom is way too small, and hot water isn't working the whole stay, forcing me to take the cold shower entirely. Room was clean enough, the bathroom was just ok but they could do better. Cold storage available in our room, bur not water heater. Only 2 power sockets available in our room, which are dull and we have to hang our wall plug during charge. WiFi connection was good, but needs password to connect, which given only 2 passwords each room (but you could request for more passwords to receptionist). There are maximum 2 pax capacity for each room despite its big room size, and will be charged THB 1000 for extra person, each night, which we forced to pay since we're staying with 3 person a night, and no available room left. In conclusion, First House Hotel strategically located in 'heart of' Pratunam, a decent hotel for short-term stay to get easy access to most tourist picks. Personally i will not recommend this place for long-term staying.
- rprettywoman2203 (2/5): Bad customer service by front desk staff - Front desk receptionist not attentive, not friendly and no customer service. 24/11 9.45pm, i have approached the front desk reception counter and informed them that i have misplaced one of my room keycard. Perhaps i might have left it at the breakfast room in the morning. To my surprise without asking for my room number the front desk staff told me that there is a charge of 300baht. I then asked them whether anyone have found it and return the keycard to the front desk. Rudely with a bad body language the front desk staff ignored me and kept on mentioning about the charges. The staff even asked me to check myself at the breakfast room tomorrow. I then asked for a manager. The front desk staff rudely said ‘ the manger went out.’ She even encouraged me to make a complaint when i told her that i will make a complaint about her rude behaviour. She then sit down at the counter and ignored me. Before i left the front desk counter i have mentioned that they have given me an impression that i dont have the money to pay for the charges. In fact i have placed a deposit of 2000baht upon arrival. Bad experience ever. Poor customer service.

But sadly, we can not park bike in front only for a second, while there were lots of motorcycle park there. The security says no parking, but there was alot of motorcycle park there. And what I bring is only a bike. It is what it is, do not bring come with vehicle eventho you think it will be only for meeting your friends for a short moment.
- BMWgaI (6/5): Clean and afforadable, heart of the morning market - There’s lot of eatery during the day outside the hotel and morning market just right beside. 7-11 is 2mins walk away. They have 2 building therefore you have to change lift and walk over the 2nd building which is kind of troublesome. The lift is small can accommodate up to 4paxs. The road is narrow and crowd with people, car have to drive in carefully. Platinum mall is 8mins walk. The room is clean but there’s no window which I had booked a city view room. The bed is just nice for 1 person if you are not that big size. The aircon is strong and toilet look modern.
- Compass47836823879 (2/5): Rude and Unprofessional Receptionist - I booked a few rooms in this hotel for my family who are visiting me in Bangkok, and my biggest regret is that I chose this hotel. I booked all the rooms under my name, because I am paying all in advance with my card. When we arrived there to check in, I said I am not staying there but my family will. They presented their passports and it should be fine. But the receptionist insisted that I have to give them my passport because I booked for them. Well I said I can't because I am not the guest there. And the receptionist keep saying I am responsible for the rest because I am booking for them. What is she talking about? Does it mean that the hotel is not responsible for the guests? Well ... I told her I will present my Thai driving license and she can scan or copy it. She insists that I gave them my passport, whether I stay there or not. I have never seen such a stupid staff in hotel industry. And she used the words such as "DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" to the customer and I have never heard anything like that from a hotel receptionist. That's it. That's the last time with them for me.
- 691vincenty (2/5): VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AT HERE - Booked 6 nights in this hotel and im experiencing bad things here. 3 nights Superior and Premiere Room. The receptions is trying to scam me and offered me not to move to premiere room and staying for superior 6 nights. The staff gave me Premiere Room SMALLER than Superior Room, with very bad Aircon Position that blow to face that make me cant sleep overnight. And i was asked to change room, the staff was not helped me to change and make a reason that all room is full, that time i was asked them at 11pm to reserve 1 room for me to change, and tomorrow they still say no room for change. VERY DISAPOINTED. Also i was faded bad experience in this hotel that Room was not noiseproof, Can hear when people walk outside. Aircon is noisy and cringy, Less wall plug only 2 per room. And HAUNTED ROOM at side Room.
- 467sharony (6/5): Convenient & Budget Friendly - Not a new hotel, but located strategically near Pratunam Market, which simply means, wake up, walk and shop like less than 5 minutes. Not a big fan of its amenities, but who cares, we just need a place to sleep that's all. If you are on a budget and plan to shop a lot, this is the place to stay. Also there's convenient store right across the street, so it will be super convenient if you are hungry in the middle of the night.

Location is superb if you like shopping at the Pratunam wholesale market. It’s near the Platinum fashion mall too. The thing that’s very off putting is that their WiFi is really bad. You don’t get any connection in the rooms.

Easy to find halal food. Walking distance to morning and night market, Platinum Mall and many other shopping mall. Room is spacious and clean. We booked airport transfer service from hotel to Bangkok Airport from the counter located in the hotel

Very near to many places of interest and foods are plentiful around this area. Only 5 minutes walk to Ratchaparop Airport link station and 15 minutes walk to Ratchathewi BTS station. Staff are friendly and helpful, room is well kept. Have recommended to family and friends who wishes to stay in a comfortable yet not too expensive hotel in Pratunam area.

The room was good - with hot and cold shower, hair dryer, complimentary water and coffee, personal refrigerator. No in-room safe as they have centralized safe boxes at the reception. No electric kettle as well, instead they have water dispenser on every floor. Note it is required to deposit ฿1000 for every room booked. What I liked about this hotel is it's proximity to shopping district - Pratunam. Hotel is walking distance to Platinum Fashion Mall, Pantip Pratunam. About 15-20 mins walk to nearest BTS station. If I return to Bangkok, will booked with hotel again.

This hotel is located at a very strategic places and surrounded by pratunam market, food stalls, massage center and 7-11. Room is spacious and clean. Hotel staff are polite and helpful. We booked an airport transfer service from hotel to BKK airport from the counter located in the hotel and cost us at THB450 including toll fees, very reasonable price. Will come back to stay this hotel for my future trip.

Bad / things to be improve : 1) water heater (my room was mal-function) sometime extremely hot. sometime not hot at all. 2) 711 room was in front of the 7th floor waiting area - too noisy and can hear outside ppl talking and walking loud. 3) 711 room also just beside hotel housekeeping room - sometime staff talking too loud and pushing trolley in and out also can be hear. 4) Floor was dirty and sticky , i need to clean myself again. - mintchocolatecake (8/5): A convenient budget hotel - First House is a budget hotel located in the busy alley in the heart of Pratunam Market where people shop for clothes (especially wholesale). This alley is totally busy and will only be quiet at night when all shops are closed for the day. The market will start busy very early in the morning. Just outside the hotel you will find plenty of stalls selling variety of foods. 7-11 is also located near the hotel. The room is overall clean and comfortable, the staffs are nice and helpful. Everything is acceptable considering the reasonable price they charged.

You can easily shop for foods, clothes or items from convenient stop like 7-11. Room are reasonably spacious for family. Breakfast has various choices and staff has overall good attitude and service! :) Just encounter some little situation where the aircond leaks water.

The room was clean, around 20sqm, bath room, high pressure water, cold and hot water. Clasic water tap with solid brass. We like it. Small compartemen elevator, we should wait 10 minute when busy hour to take us down stair. Perfect location, medium end shopping near by the hotel, and many kind of food street in front of hotel. The lobby is very small. Friendly check-in staff. Pratunam wholesale market mainly ladies fashion right beside the hotels. The roads leading to the hotel Soi 19 is really narrow and small, congested and chaotic with taxi,tuk tuk and street local foods directly in opposite the hotel. Convenient and within walking distance to Platinum mall, Big C, the new Bangkok market mall,Macdonald and starbucks. Last but not least if you are booking airport transfer please book 3hrs advance because this hotel location is very high traffic area. Highly recommended for ladies loves shopping.

- TEW YONG (8/5): - The location is great for shopping . It is walking distance to Platinum Mall. The breakfast is great and there are varieties of dishes for you to taste. Although the breakfast area is small , the food is well arranged. The room is comfatable and clean. The only complain is the rooms are sound proof. You can hear people talking on the corridor along the rooms.There is a money changer beside the hotel and Its rate is quite high compared to other areas. Overall First House hotel is a nice place to stay

- Jess (10/5): Nice hotel - Staying there for 4 nights with family, so far everything was ok, only a bit not convenience with the hot water dispenser placing at the corridor and the lift was super slow and small, location is near to shopping area, night markets and 7/11 are nearby. Bad is can be very crowded during day time but overall it is excellent.

- Joe (8/5): Convenient & Easy accessibility - Location of hotel is excellent, convenient and easy access to anywhere. Interior had improved, including the rooms, after last renovation as compared to my last stay 5 years ago. The only complaint I have is the breakfast, just like before, not much variety, not very appetizing. And no wardrobe in my room. Hope there will be improvement before next visit to BKK.
- Caroline (8/5): - So close to Platinum mall and Central world for shopping. Front of hotel is super busy during the day and quiet at night. Clean room and towels are changed. I will stay again. So convenient. Love it
- Jas (10/5): Great location - Clean hotel, comfortable bed but pillow too soft & thin. Friendly house keeping staff. Bellboy also ok. Counter staff normal. Wifi cannot sign in when we r in room. Went down to fix it, counter staff did not tell us we can online sign up wifi at lobby den it will auto connect when we reach room. Overall still good expierence. Will be back again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Stay - It's the second time I stay here. It is convenient to and fro the Suvarnabhumi Airport but quite a distance away from the BTS and MRT.
