- Brenda (5/5): - It was clean. The bed was a Hard! bed. Maybe just old not updated yet. It was very uncomfortable hard. The check in time was later than I preferred. For the schedule we had children only got to swim 20 min.

If you’re with a family, get the two bedroom or king execu - Conveniency, a lot of things to do not close from the location. Ice machine down, and I couldn’t upgrade my room, even if I paid more. Breakfast was very lackluster.

- V7588DFninah (2/5): Pet friendly be aware - Website clearly states $75 pet fee per room. No mention of “per pet” fee. They charged $75 per pet. Most hotels disclose their fees accurately and inform customers of a flat pet fee or a per pet fee. We would have stayed somewhere else! Room smelled terrible like chemicals and woke up with a migraine. Feel they purposefully do not disclose their pet policy fees and then stick it to you when you stay and can’t change your reservation. Unethical and predatory practices. Rude manager.
- Mary (10/5): Clean, Comfy, Friendly Staff, Good Brkfst-Home Away from Home - Hotel great location for the event we attended in Tooele, Utah. The hotel & room very clean, comfy bed, well set up kitchenette w/full size fridge. It was Great I could refreeze my cooler ice packs, convenient/nice pull out table to dine, great amount of storage for luggage, hooks to hang jackets, towels, etc. It was home away from home! The staff (am/pm) were friendly, courteous & helpful. Front Desk- Lucas gave great restaurant choices & helped me w/little issue re: the laundry room machines. The Breakfast was Great, had very good variety of proteins (alternating days), grains, fresh fruit, dairy & waffle makers. Liked the healthy toppings for oatmeal (coconut, nuts, dried fruit, etc) even put on top of my waffles. Waffles: were 2 flavors & 2 shapes to choose, if you want 4 mini waffles or large squares. The Breakfast staff were Excellent, Koli was friendly & assured to replenish the low running food items timely! He truly cared about his job & it showed! The fitness center not large, but had the basics, was perfect for a decent workout! Parking was good too, convenient to the building. Nice touch, coffee is offered at the lobby, my husband loved that! The area where hotel is situated was convenient to stores, restaurants, gas stations, yummy bakery (Kneaders), ice cream shop, movie theater, etc. Most within walking distance. The location was beautiful, surrounding snow capped mountains, nice view out the window. The Great Salt Lake not to far drive. If back in this area would definitely stay here! From now on will look for other Towneplace Suites by Marriott in my future travels. I still gave 10 rating, Just a tiny issue with laundry room washing machine, it didn't register the money & got stuck, lost my change & had to use the other machine, no biggy, reported to front desk staff & they quickly refunded quarters. Best advice, drop the quarters in slowly & wait in-between drop in to avoid clogging the coin mechanism.

- Sonja (10/5): Birthday stay - It was my grandson's birthday and we traveled from Las Vegas, NV so he could spend time with his friends. The hotels location was perfect, there are restaurants and shopping within walking distance from the hotel, which made it very covenant for me. No complaints.

- Janna (2/5): loud crazy and unrestful. - Breakfast was good, bed was soft and the room was good It was loud and a party came in at 1Am they were racing in the parking lot they were staying in many rooms around me with very loud and bass filled music that played for hours, with yelling of lyrics to the music running up and down the hall, slamming of doors all around our room. there was something sticky on the lobby floor that we mad the front desk aware of but was not cleaned up until the following day. there was no staff at the desk during the night jinx and the morning staffer said she was called in to deal with it. no sleep and a bunch of money for the inconvenience. I only live down the road but was spending time with my sister who was here from out of town. bad for both of us who paid for rooms.
- Jessica (8/5): - Check in clerk was not personable or welcoming. After checking in as we were walking to the elevator to go up to our room there was a trail of something sticky spilled on the floor that went from the check in desk down the hall and into the elevator. The floor was so sticky I told the guy at the check in desk and he just said ok. 15 hours later when we came down for breakfast the sticky trail was still there on the floor and a housekeeping cart was parked right next to part of the sticky mess. One of the elevators was extremely loud as it stopped on the desired floor it would make a grinding noise for approximately 45 seconds before settling and the doors opening. The pool door was very hard to get in and so we didn’t figure out that the handle was on upside down until it was time to check out from our 2day stay. The last night we stayed there was a huge wedding party that was staying at the hotel and they were loud and partying on two of the floors all night long, racing in the parking lot and rummaging through the fridge with items for sale and taking the food and drinks to their rooms slamming the doors repeatedly and playing their music loud all night until 7am. The night desk clerk was not around to assist other guest being disturbed by the party and the guest service phone number was not working properly.

- dziran (8/5): Pleasant Surprise. - My first time staying at a Towneplace suites. Pleasantly surprised. Had a very nice full kitchen. The bedroom is separate from the living room. There was a work space between the kitchen and living room/sofa area. The location is at a small lake with views of the mountains. Walked over to the lake for sunrise and ducks were out swimming. Some rooms have a lake view. There is a Target nearby which is convenient as well as several restaurants. I got groceries and some food for takeout. The location is an easy drive to the airport.

If you’re looking for something just outside of Salt Lake City - such as if driving through the area on a road trip, as we were - this is a great option.

Luckily, the two people that were supposed to come with us couldn’t make it so it wasn’t a big deal, but if they would’ve made it, they would’ve had to sleep on a tiny, low quality when I specifically booked two queen beds.

- Natalie (10/5): My go-to place in SLC - The staff is wonderful, they are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless, and very comfortable. It's close to my work, so when i get a chance to gwy away from the truck for a couple of days this is my go to spot. They are pet friendly, and i appreciate that sooooooo much!

- Vicki (6/5): - Hotel was perfect in every way except for the lack of central heating/cooling. The 3 units in our 2 bedroom suite were so loud we could not sleep with the air conditioning running. We had to choose to be uncomfortably warm in order to sleep.

- Ellen (8/5): - Was placed in the handicapped suite, would not change to regular room when requested. The shower leaked, drain in floor did not work so bathroom flooded every time the shower was used.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Manageable for last min booking - Last min booking due to family funeral. Pool was overheated too hot, and due to special Olympics event, there wasn't enough breakfast. Room was okay not the best but manageable for last min booking.
