Ruth (10/5): - The food and breakfast was delicious, and staff were lovely. The location was beautiful and very relaxing. The indoor pool area was nice but it is a bit small and the floor area can become very slippery when wet.

VDL (8/5): - - Personeel is erg behulpzaam en geeft dagelijks suggesties voor uitjes via de telefoon die je meekrijgt. - Accomodatie heeft ontbijt-oplossingen voor wanneer je vóór het ontbijt moet uitchecken vanwege een vroege vlucht. - Er is zowel een binnen- en buiten zwembad. Het binnenzwembad is verwarmd. - De kamer die we hadden beschikte over een goed uitgeruste kitchenette.

O quarto com jacuzzi privado é um grande ponto forte, assim como o pequeno-almoço, que é muito bom. O local é calmo, relaxado e perfeito para desligar da correria do dia a dia. Nada a apontar, porque o alojamento é mesmo excelente.

Lise (8/5): Beautiful location, average service - The location is truly amazing ! The room was also really nice and felt like this resort is respecting the environment. The service at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast wasn’t really good: waited a really long time to get a table at the breakfast. I’ve informed the reception that I was allergic to cinnamon and for breakfast I got jam with cinnamon. Thankfully I’ve noticed it, and ask for replacement. Then again I had to wait 15’ until I could ask again. The waitress told me that they hadn’t any other jam… In the evening, we had the wait a long time to get served. For check-out, I had to wait 20’ until someone came to the reception. I’ve called and asked the personal at the bar, and he called around. I had to catch a plain, so almost left without being able to checkout.

Galvez Povedano (9/5): Muy recomendable - El complejo es espectacular: la localización, los espacios comunes, el restaurante… El desayuno no es muy amplio, pero es de buena calidad. La piscina privada no era climatizada, es cierto que tienen una zona común tipo spa, pero no está acorde al resto de las instalaciones. Y por destacar un detalle que llama la atención a día de hoy: la televisión no es Smart TV.

Lisa (7/5): Lovely concept and people, but overpriced. - The staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast as well as the lunch and dinner options were great and we loved being right at the beach. We also enjoyed using the fitness and wellness area and liked that there was a kitchenette in the apartment. Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable – the mattress was very hard and just laid on a slap of stone and constantly shifted out of place. There were also some other things (e.g., the front door of the apartment had a huge gap) where the quality of things did not match our expectations based on the price of the accommodation and compared to other places we stayed at during our 3 weeks on the Açores.

Miranda (10/5): This stay was relaxing, luxurious, carefree and very beautiful. - Complementary breakfast was delicious, the entire property is so gorgeous and all of the rooms have excellent views, the staff was so accommodating and very friendly! You had to make a reservation to use the fitness center. I would have preferred to be able to go whenever I felt like it without planning ahead but that is really my only complaint.

jennieanstey (8/5): Seaside stay in february was a highlight of our trip! - We booked for one night as we were visiting around the island. We ended up staying for two nights as we loved the view, the service, the huge king bed, the artisanal decor of the hotel, the easy parking and the location which was so close to most everything we wanted to do and see at the end of our trip. It was sunny everyday we were there and being able to relax on the sun deck and hot tub while looking out to the sea was a highlight of our trip. I will definitely be back!

Der Meerblick erstreckt sich über einen nicht wahrnehmbaren Streifen links und vorne auf den Grundstückzaun und die entsprechenden Straßen angrenzend, ist deswegen, anders als bei den anderen Villen, vorne nicht begehbar. Die Bepflanzung ist sehr schön. Das Frühstück wird portioniert und am Tisch serviert. Die Extraspeisen aus der Karte sind ausgezeichnet.

Bruna (10/5): - Adoramos TUDO! Passamos uma semana fantástica neste resort. O jaccuzzi na varanda da villa com vista para o mar é simplesmente incrível e com uma temperatura excelente para se disfrutar de dia ou de noite. A cama é muito confortável e a villa tem tudo para uma estadia excelente. Pedimos room service várias vezes e as entregas foram sempre muito rápidas e a comida excelente!! Os pratos que mais gostamos foram o tártaro de novilho (divinal!), a massada de peixe e camarão e o bife de couve flor. O pudim de queijada com gelado é muitissimo bom e o pequeno almoço à la carte também. Também experimentamos os drinks no bar e foram sem dúvida alguma os melhores que já bebemos!! O mojito é excelente e o Spicy & Gold é soberbo!! A área exterior do resort é espetacular com vista sobre a praia. Para terminar e não menos importante, todos os funcionários foram de uma simpatia e atenção extrema, sempre muito prestáveis e a fazer de tudo para tornar a nossa estadia inesquecível. Iremos voltar sem dúvida alguma!

Ficámos hospedados num "Studio with Side Sea View and Direct Access to Pool", cuja conceção alia conforto, privacidade e uma integração harmoniosa com a paisagem envolvente. A possibilidade de aceder diretamente, a partir da sala, a uma piscina tranquila, confere ao espaço uma atmosfera de serenidade pouco comum, onde o tempo parece suspender-se. A qualidade do serviço merece um destaque particular. Todo o staff — desde a equipa de limpeza à receção, passando pelo bar e restaurante — evidenciou um profissionalismo irrepreensível, aliado a uma simpatia genuína, constante disponibilidade e atenção ao detalhe, que elevam substancialmente a experiência do hóspede. No que respeita à componente gastronómica, o resort excede largamente as expectativas. Todas as refeições foram irrepreensíveis, com propostas cuidadosamente elaboradas, saborosas e equilibradas, incluindo uma excelente variedade de opções vegetarianas. Ana (10/5): Very inviting environment with superb staff and impeccable resort! - Very relaxing…. Great place to relax and unwind. Very quiet and serene. The staff were superb…. Courteous and very friendly. We enjoyed an old fashioned made with butter. Best old fashioned that we have tried. We had a fantastic experience! Probably could use a couple of relaxing chairs in the living room beside the couch

Bashair (10/5): تجربة رائعة ومريحة جدا - المكان جميل جداً كانت الفلة غرفة نوم وصالة ومطبخ خدمة وبلكونة وتصميم المكان رايق جدا الاضاءة خافته في المكان ونظيف جدا ومرافق المكان جميلة وجلسات على البحر تجنن صراحة ولا غلطة مكان للاسترخاء والموظفين ودودين جدا واكيد راح اكرر التجربة لا يوجد بس موقع المكان يحتاج سيارة لانه بعيد عن المدينة بس فيه قرية قريبة فيها سوبر ماركت ومطاعم

EEK85 (8/5): Very beautiful experience--but please add rugs to the rooms. - Beautiful hotel and lovely experience. We had breakfast there every morning, which was good. Dinner was okay. The beach bar was fun. Very easy to get around the island with a rental car--and good roads and easy to navigate. One thing hotel should note--the floors in the room are very slippery and there are no rugs--which is very hazardous, especially with the hot tub on the deck. My husband and I both almost wiped out. Staff was very friendly. Excellent housekeeping.

Sharon (4/5): - Very overpriced and underwhelming experience. We went here for our honeymoon and wouldn’t recommend as a “honeymoon” type of visit. Not even a free dessert that congratulated us. AC broke done last night and couldn’t be fixed. Kitchen staff and breakfast was the only good thing. But otherwise this hotel categorizes itself as luxury but I wouldn’t agree with it. We don’t usually travel luxury either and aren’t high maintenance but this hotel missed the mark. The extra level of care and service was lacking to make this luxury.

Amy (7/5): - Loved the general vibe of the resort, beauty of the pool and beach, and how spacious the rooms are! The staff is also incredibly friendly. Small things: flies in room and at meals, room needed some floor coverings, only one suitcase stand, couldn’t make the in-room safe work, why charge for coffee in the room? Food was quite good but just not great (to be fair, I’m comparing to NYC standards)— food is generally too heavy with tons of sauces so just not particularly healthy when they are trying to be!
kristinahW1306XH (10/5): Incredible service and location! - The room was spacious, clean and included a deck with a jacuzzi. The service was exceptional! No detail was missed. The front desk staff was attentive and Barbara helped us each day with itinerary suggestions. She was amazing! The breakfast was wonderful and the pool was relaxing. Can’t beat the incredible location, views and centrally located no matter what part of island you ventured too. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and fun. We plan to come back!

Rita (9/5): The best place to holiday in Sao Miguel - I liked everything about this hotel. The location is beautiful, overseeing a beach that we have direct access to, with beautiful views all around. The room was more like a whole house, with living room, kitchenette, beautiful stone shower/bath, and a rope swing and jacuzzi. The breakfast food was amazing, and the dinner we had there was really good too. The staff were friendly and helpful, and offer a welcome drink during check-in. The bathroom products were also really good and local. The only negative was the fact that it was practically fully booked and we could only book one night.

Beside a great beach, and about 15 minutes walk along the beach to Riberia Grande. Great pool and lovely landscaped areas overlooking the beach. There is change for tea & coffee in the room.
Navigator814589 (10/5): Unforgettable Holiday in Sau Miguel - This hotel is a must if you come to Sau Miguel. First of all the Hotel is stunning, has a sea view that is one of a kind. The welcoming is so welcoming with a local tea and homemade cookies , the room we took was perfect with a private pool, and in the early morning around 6:30 am the sunrise with the view mountains is from a movie. The restaurant has amazing food, recommend highly to have dinner and lunch in the hotel. The swimming pool is located in the perfect view to the sunset. Right next to the hotel there is a cool bar also recommended highly. All in all will definitely come back again.

There was little creativity in trying to change it and offer variety. Also the breakfast started much later at 8am when a number excursions required leaving at 8 or just slightly after. They could help with an earlier breakfast start.
