- Shan (9/5): Great view and pool - Great hotel with friendly staff. View is amazing looking to the beach. Location is good with 20mins walk to the old town. Free parking opposite hotel was convenient. There are moulds in the shower and its little run down. Be prepared taking several lifts to reach floors 2 and above.

- Mayuran (10/5): - Parkplatz ausreichend genug vor der Tür 15 Minuten fußläufig direkt in der Altstadt oder am Hafen. Alle im Personal sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer mit einem Lächeln. Der Manager Herr Stelios versorgt einen auch mit Tipps zu Ausflügen in der Umgebung oder zu Badestellen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit privatem Pool. Morgens aufwachen und Blick zum Meer ist Erholung pur. Der Pool war für Anfang Mai noch zu kalt für uns, so dass wir ihn wenig genutzt haben. Danke an das ganze Team für diesen tollen Urlaub 🙂

- Maryline (8/5): Bel hotel pour un court séjour. - Le Monsieur de la réception (Stellios )est d’une gentille incroyable et nous a donné beaucoup de bons conseils sur les endroits où aller, un grand merci à lui! L’établissement est très propre et il est assez facile de stationner aux alentours de l’hôtel. Il n’y a aucun rangement ni étagère dans la salle de bain, on doit poser toutes les affaires au sol, pas terrible. Ils ne fournissent qu’un petit tube de gel douche, pas de shampoing, conditionner et autres qu’il y a normalement dans les hôtels 4 étoiles. Chambre collée à la salle du petit déjeuner donc impossible de dormir après 7h30.

The hotel is on a busy street but our room was very quiet with an excellent view. The breakfast was substantial and very good. It's about a 10 min walk into town as described or a short taxi ride. Would definitely recommend this hotel..

Ei turhia hienouksia, mutta ei suuria puutteitakaan. Hyvä aamupala. Pyyhkeet ja liinavaatteet olivat ajoittain likaisia pesun jälkeen. Huoneessa olevia astioita ei pesty/vaihdettu kertaakaan oleskelumme aikana, eikä niitä voinut kunnolla itsekään tiskata välineiden puuttuessa. Huoneesta puuttui myös matkalaukkuteline.

- craigmM7141JU (4/5): to far out of town, terrible food, poor service - Stayed in Rethymon many times and was ecpecting this hotel to be fairly central but it was a bus ride away. That wasnt too much of a problem as wedont mind the travel and the buses were frequent. The hotel has a really nice lady on the front desk which was very helpful. The hotel seems to be ran with a skeleton staff. The breakfast staff on the morning were hopless and dont even bother going as the breakfast was minimium and of poor quality, the coffee was awful. We went twice only and never after that. The room was ok however the shower was tiny. The holiday was pricey and you can get much better deals cheaper in a better location and food you look forward to. Unfortunately we would never go back to this hotel.

- Gerard (8/5): Séjour sympathique . - La vue sur la mer, chambre spacieuse. Personnel très sympathique. SDB mal conçue, pas de place pour les serviettes, mauvais éclairage devant le miroir au dessus de la vasque. Petit inconvénient, il fallait changer 3 fois d'ascenseur pour monter au 7e. ( 3 gaines d'ascenseur , certainement plusieurs immeubles au départ.) Pour le petit déjeuner c'est un peu à l'étroit.

The pools were clean and gorgeous views from as well as working elevators which was needed for my daughter with a disability. Out front there is an amazing swimming area in the sea and we walked to a fabulous taverna for dinner and were near a grocery, the bus station and easy walk to town. I recommend highly. I liked everything about this property. It was better than expected and very personable and clean.
- Eric (7/5): Overall geen slechte ervaring. - Ligging van het hotel is ok. Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Strandje tegenover het hotel is een plus en(bijna alles) is op redelijke loopafstand. Ontbijt was goed en je hebt veel keus. Goed onderhouden zwembad met speelgoed voor de kinderen. Bedden goed. Open kast met voldoende hangers. Geen privé parkeerplaatsen; dit moet langs de kant van de weg of tegenover het hotel. Wel gratis, dus dat scheelt. Hygiëne overall is goed. Echter was de kamer niet brandschoon: veel stof op de richel van het "hoofdbord", achter t gordijn en in de badkamer. ook schimmelvorming in de douchehoek. Mechanisme van de leeslamp was stuk. Kamer één keer niet opgeruimd, terwijl dat wel was aangegeven aan de buitenkant bij de deur. Kamer was op de derde, net boven een terras en tegenover t zwembad. Bij veel wind maken de parasols boven veel lawaai( na klagen wel meteen opgelost) en de muziek bij t zwembad is te luid: overdag een dutje doen is er niet bij. Samenvattend: geen verkeerd hotel, maar voor dat geld hadden wij wel iets meer verwacht.

- 66Frank1982 (10/5): Marvellous hotel. - An excellent hotel with very spacious rooms. The hotel is situated on a hillside with 3 separate lifts. The hotel has a small beach directly in front over the road which is really nice.

Lovely room overlooking the sea. En-suite bathroom had everything required, including a good shower, but was a very small bathroom indeed.

- Tomas (10/5): Great hotel with really helpful and nice manager and fabulous breakfast. - Great hotel with extremely helpful manager at the reception, really nice man, he gave us lot of useful recommendations to our travels. We really liked the breakfast. While the siting arrangement was basic and choice not lavish, the products were local and home made giving us great local experience. For us, quality of product is more important than width of selection. If we travel to the area again, we will definitely come back to this hotel. Great view from our 8th floor room. One key crossbar was falling from my bed reducing comfort, but that was probably exception. We had a room with great view, but the hotel has varienty of rooms, some of them with much worse (or none) view. Pay attention what room you book.

- JACQUES (10/5): Superbe hôtel super bien placé avec patron très bien veillant et super gentil avec de très bons conseils ! - La mer à proximité avec piscine de mer. Juste à traverser la route avec parking en bas . Vue sur la mer et forteresse ! Faut prendre 3 ascenseurs pour accéder aux étages en hauteur mais bon la vue est plus beau aussi !

- Edward (5/5): Hotel is not in a great location, pay a bit more to be nearer to the town centre. - Rethymno old town is AMAZING and the hotel itself is clean and comfortable , staff were very nice. Location of hotel was on the very busy road into Rethymno , take 30 minutes to walk into town. Local public beach is not great, surrounding area is a bit dirty and rough. Because the hotel is built into a very steep hill we had to take 3 separate lifts to get to our room on the 7th floor.

- Brian (9/5): We had a wonderful holiday and wouldn't hesitate to return. - All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location was great. Lovely views from our room and the breakfast room/terrace. The breakfasts were excellent. Lovely variety with variations every day. Fresh fruit, veg and salads along with cooked items and fabulous Greek yogurt. Stelios the owner was very attentive and welcoming. A small problem with our shower was fixed immediately.

- Norbert (9/5): Schöne und komfortable Unterkunft mit traumhaftem Meerblick - Das Hotel liegt an einer Hauptstraße, ist wegen der Bauweise den Hang hinauf trotzdem relativ ruhig. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell in der Innenstadt. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist für griechische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Die Frühstückstische auf der schmalen Terrasse sind allerdings wenig ansprechend. Die Dame am Empfang sprach hervorragendes Deutsch und war ungemein hilfsbereit und freundlich. Auf Gäste mit einer Laktoseunverträglichkeit ist auch dieses Hotel nicht eingestellt.

- Noortje (10/5): Fantastisch verblijf en zeer gastvrije mensen - Eigenaar Stelios heeft ons een warm welkom geheten. Hij heeft ons het hotel laten zien en ons naar onze kamer geleid. De kamer had fijn balkon en een prachtig uitzicht over zee, op het fort en over het oude gedeelte van Rethymnon. De locatie van het hotel is op loopafstand van het oude centrum van Rethymnon en was ongeveer 10 minuten lopen. Onze kamer werd elke dag schoongemaakt en voorzien van zuivere handdoeken. Het ontbijt was erg goed (buffetvorm) en er was genoeg keuze. Wanneer je in de omgeving ergens naartoe wilt, kun je informatie vragen aan Stelios. Hij geeft je graag advies en komt met leuke suggesties. We hadden een huurauto en konden deze makkelijk op de parkeerplaats aan het strand parkeren (circa 25 meter voor het hotel). Niets, we zouden zo weer teruggaan naar dezelfde accommodatie.
