Karen (7/5): Een gezellige plek. Het personeel maakt het top! - - Personeel is erg betrokken, is toegankelijk en erg vriendelijk. De mensen die hier werken is wat deze plek echt anders maakt dan andere plekken! Zij lieten me thuis voelen. - Zowel kamers als badkamers zijn proper! - Er hangt een gezellige toegankelijke sfeer - Dorm ligt naast keuken en lobby wat wat geluidsoverlast kan geven, doch hanteren ze echt ook stille tijden. - Deur van dorm gaat niet op slot en is dus hele dag open. Er zijn wel lockers om spullen op te bergen. - Het hostel is wel op enige afstand gelegen van de stadskern, maar anderzijds vlot te voet bereikbaar van het busstation

Sandra (6/5): Pleasant - The room has a good size, but has no window. It is an old house, which is nice. You hear everything that is going on in the neighbouring rooms. One bathroom was awesome, the other one way too small. The house is located approx. midway between bus terminal and the touristic center. .

Neele (7/5): Good - the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was super nice and spacious and the hostel in general had quite a nice design and atmosphere they seemed to get the hostel ready for high season, which came with a few inconveniences for us, like power cuts (bathrooms were pitch black, you needed your phone as torch, no wifi) and noisiness... unfortunately they didn't give us any discount for that showers were very temperamental, either hot or cold, might be because of the solar, tho

Federica (5/5): Not worth it - The guy at the reception was nice and the painting on the ceiling of the shared bedroom No vibe in the hostel, no nice chilled area indoors so the only option is to stay outside in the terrace (when I was there it was cold and rainy) which is also next to a main noisy road. The kitchen is passable, the bathroom terrible, one bathroom for the whole floor, light that keeps going off, an improvised basin built too low on a timber cabinet. 8 beds shared bedroom with no windows and beds too high, flimsy and dangerous. The staff sleeps in the same room as the guests. Location ok because closish to the bus station but it's better to be closer to the cerros!

Justyna (10/5): Great hostel with an eye for ecology - I was very surprised by the friendliness and openness of the staff. The building is an old villa, with a romantic design. I love it. You can find here everything: kitchen, patio, spacious room, no bunk beds and really comfy, great internet, friendly atmosphere and... what I really like, they are sensitive to the environment. The hostel is 10 from the city center and the big, local market. I will definitely return if I will visit Valparaiso once more. Thank you, guys. nothing, everything was great.

Laura (8/5): Good stay although bathroom could be improved - good location, very quick taxi or bus to the bus station and walking distance to the main sites of Valparaiso, it was also really close to the main road for buses to Viña. They have an outdoor terrace which was nice and the kitchen was well equipped. All the rooms had really high ceilings and the double room was spacious and comfortable. The staff and volunteers were helpful and approachable. There was only one working bathroom whilst we were there which was shared with all the guests. Once there were more than a few groups staying it meant waiting a long time to use the bathroom. It also meant the bathroom wasn’t that clean. We may have been there at an odd time but the vibe was a bit strange as there seemed to be more volunteers than guests and the shared spaces were a bit cramped. The check in process was a bit confusing as we weren’t told about the high fees for using card, luckily our card didn’t work and we were able to pay in cash.
