- estebanrQ4446XL (2/5): Avoid very rude staff member named Carrie - The company I work for has been renting out office space in this hotel for about a month mostly without issue. Until I had such an unpleasant interaction I’m not sure if I’d ever stay at a Hilton again. This woman named Carrie thought it would be a good idea to scream at me in a public lobby over grabbing a few crackers (That they seemingly give out for free in the lobby.) on a cocktail napkin because I didn’t have a room there. Now I understand I might not have the right to a few crackers and there is a need to enforce the rules, However that could have been explained to me as a gentle reminder instead of cornering me in the lobby and proceeding to interrogate me so loud SEVERAL people in the lobby began to stare at us. When I attempted to deescalate Carrie kept attempting to argue with me about how only roomed guest deserved crackers even after I explained to her I didn’t know about the rule and it wouldn’t happen again. This person clearly enjoys antagonizing people and arguing so if you want a relaxing stay I wouldn’t stay at a property that would hire someone like this. Naperville has plenty of other hotels in the area I’m sure anyone would have a better stay at.

- thatgirlrenita (8/5): Clean, comfortable, good breakfast - Came here with two friends for two nights. We had a two-queen-bed suite with a pull-out couch. The room overall was cozy, not huge but with enough room for the three of us to sit comfortably and watch TV together and hang out. There is a small kitchen sink, a small fridge (big enough to hold some drinks or a small amount of food) and a microwave, plus the little in-room coffeemaker. I slept on the pull-out couch and while the mattress was fairly thin, I still managed to sleep well. We did need to make the bed - sheets were in the closet in the bedroom. The bathroom was spacious and clean, though there were a few tiny maintenance issues - the body wash bottle was empty and did not get refilled by housekeeping (we forgot to let them know), the TP holder was leaning at an angle, and a corner of the mirror was broken. But nothing major. Water pressure was OK, not amazing. My major pet peeve for hotels in general is that there are never enough hooks or towel racks in bathrooms, and this was definitely true here - there was one hook behind one door and one next to the tub and that was it. Could have easily hung a larger towel rack on either of those spots. The hotel itself is pretty nice - we did take advantage of the "managers reception" aka happy hour, which offers light snacks and two free drinks. The breakfast was quite good, with a nice range of options including potatoes, meat, eggs, make your own omelet, fruit, yogurt, pastries, oatmeal, etc. They should really put some signs up directing people better, though; you walk in at the end of the line and it wasn't obvious to me until the second day that I'd come in the wrong way. Location-wise it's very convenient - right off I-88 with a bunch of restaurants in the same development (including Thai, sushi, pizza, burritos/tacos, a deli and several higher-end sit down restaurants). There is more down Diehl Rd - including a Super Target, a movie theater and lots of restaurants. There are EV chargers, but I tried two and neither were working, so driver beware there. I live not too far from here, but it was nice to have a central spot to meet friends for a weekend together, and I'd definitely recommend it to people for the location and the tasty breakfast. Managers: train housekeeping to check on things like the body wash bottles and the ice bucket (ours was busted and we didn't get a replacement bag)

- ricksX2721PV (4/5): No heat for months??? - Something is terribly wrong at this hotel. I have stayed here many times over the years and always had a good stay. They currently have no heat on the first floor. The breakfast and bar areas are hovering around 55 degrees. The staff is wearing multiple sweatshirts and some even are wearing winter coats. Two different employees told be that the heat has been out since November! One told me that they didn't have budget to fix the problem last year and hoped to fix it soon. She also told me that "they were a franchise, so they are not held to the same standard as a company owned Hilton locations." I left a message for the General Manager and he never returned my call. I contacted Hilton Corporate (a call center in Egypt) and they said someone would get back to me in 48 hours. In my opinion, the customer service and quality that made this hotel chain great has been cost cut out of the organization. Sad to see.

- Sarinthia (1/5): Booking DROPPED THE BALL AND GIVES YOU THE RUN AROUND. - The hotel was clean Booking.com dropped the ball ON MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY. They did not process my booking properly so when I arrived at the hotel they didn't have my booking for me. The staff at the hotel had to book my rooms and I was charged more. Now it's been nearly 2 weeks and your representative keeps emailing me asking for the same information to give me a refund of the difference. I won't be using your service again until this is resolved. I've sent invoices and a copy of my charge, which I don't understand WHY that was needed, the INVOICES should have been sufficient but you want to play this game with the back and forth so that you can make it seem like I didn't respond. FALSE. I RESPONDED TO ALL REQUESTS AND STILL NOTHING.

- Darren Duke Mize (2/5): Great location, terrible hotel - The breakfast and happy hour were great Both nights we were there, it was nearly impossible to get parking because they had events happening in the hotel so people that were staying there had to find parking elsewhere. We had to change rooms because people were screaming in the room next to us. The new room we went to smelled like the carpets hadn't been cleaned in years. Also, the place just needs a complete redo

Carpets were stained and many scratches on the furniture. Also, not enough parking on the property. Had to park across the street in another business’s property.

- Twyla (10/5): 1st impression - The front desk staff laughed about a mix up with my room and price. However the rooms were clean and cozy. Each time I had the buffet breakfast it was fresh, hot and delicious.

- Bet51 (10/5): Wonderful Stay - This is a great hotel. It was located in a restaurant plaza. There were too many to choose from. The hotel was clean and well maintained. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with plenty of food and made to order omelettes. We enjoyed happy hour and the bar tender Octavo. He was very efficient and friendly. We had a great experience at checking and unfortunately we did not get the ladies name. Overall, this stay at the Embassy has elevated the brand to the top of our list when choosing a business travel hotel.

- COLIN (2/5): - In the bathroom, there was mold all over the shower and stains on the wall behind the toilet. We informed management twice, and they took no action. It's a maintenance issue because the rooms need deep cleaning. But the fact that they were not willing to do it, or offer a room that was in better condition, was a sign of how little they care about their customers. We were with a large group of people, and many ended up changing hotels.
- Michele (2/5): - The environmental services staff didn’t fully know how to service the room. We were left with no toilet paper or Kleenex. They never restocked the coffee pods and towels. We had to go down during our stay to receive the items. Additionally, at breakfast, the kitchen staff who cleared the tables picked up and threw away my carton of alternative milk Oat Milk when we were still sitting at the table with Coffee. Then they continued to talk about me and look me up and down and while I was still in the restaurant. There were no non-dairy alternatives for a person like me to eat, so the food was limited. Additionally we were kept up all night Saturday night by someone partying- we made phone calls at 11:17 and early a.m. and the partying and screaming continued until 3:30 AM. There was confetti and streamers in the hallway the next morning it’s really unfortunate this hotel doesn’t have a handle on the property.

- niloufar (8/5): - On the description it says 7min of driving to the river walk which is a lie , we had to drive 45min without traffic to get to the river walk. But the hotel was nice and the area felt safe. The only down side is how they lied about the distance.

- Ashley (6/5): Wouldn’t stay here again. - The staff told my husband breakfast ended at 930 on Saturday so he rushed out of the breakfast area to only then find out when we were leaving that was a lie as the lobby was filled with people eating breakfast at 1020. Two tables in our room were broken the legs barely attached. The housekeeping knocked on our door at 9 am asking if we were leaving. Which I found very rude as I was still trying to sleep considering we had until 11 to check out and we still left early. I was very disappointed with the hotel itself. Embassy suites tend to be on the higher scale and the prices reflect this however this property did not meet the standard.

Pool had a huge black stain in the bottom that looked like mold or some type of algae. Whole downstairs smelled like vomit. No parking (had to park in a neighboring hotel lot). Ended up leaving at 11:30pm and came home.
- Benjamin (10/5): Great Stay - Stayed for family trip in Chicago and a baseball game. Room was clean, little smaller than expected but still decent sized. We had king bed and would say the family of three likely fits better. Food was good. Room was super quiet, very little residual noise could be heard from hall or other rooms.

- Egle (2/5): - I was extremely disappointed with my stay. My husband slipped and fell in the bathtub because it was so slippery—whatever cleaning product was used left it unsafe and dangerous. The rooms were only semi-clean at best. Inside the light fixtures, there were disturbing red splatters that looked like a crime scene—absolutely disgusting. On top of that, there were random stains on the walls and rugs that made the whole place feel dirty and neglected. The only positive part of the stay was the breakfast—it was actually really good and definitely the best part of the hotel. Unfortunately, that alone does not make up for the overall poor condition of the rooms and safety concerns. For the amount of money we paid, it was absolutely not worth it. Very disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel.
