• Sarah (10/5): Great 1st time in NY - Wonderful hotel! Sister and I went for a girl's trip & this place is in a great location. Close to plenty of food & the subway. Staff was extremely nice & let us check our bags for the morning while we got breakfast & shopped around. Close to the Empire State Building as well. If I ever find myself in NY again, I'd definitely stay here! Our room was on the back end of the building so we didn't have a great view. I'm sure if you put in a request they can try their best if you'd like a room with a view!

• klegall (10/5): Amazing Staff! - My checking with Nicole and Shelly was smooth. Angel assisted me with the parking app to ensure that my rental did not get towed, then came Andre he made a suggestion to use Myers parking on the block as meter parking ends at 12mn. Even though street parking is free pass 12mn I would have to move my car by 6am I am not a morning person so that early bird special recommendation was on point, he was also able to assist with some late night eating spots. They are pleasant and attentive to the guess 10/10 experience. See you soon!

• stephen (10/5): Great hotel in great location - Lovely hotel in a great location - right by Bryant Park, Macys and Empire State Building, and a 10 min walk to Times Square or Penn Station. Staff are very helpful and friendly (which you don't always get in other NY hotels!) The hotel does take an additional temporary surcharge on a credit card on check-in, but in fairness I think most NY hotels also do this.

• FestivusPole66 (10/5): Quiet, Great Location, Great Amenities - We've visited NYC about 10 times and have stayed in many different areas in many different hotels. This hotel is one of the few in which we decided to stay a second time. The location is great. 36th street, between 5th and 6th avenues. The Herald Square subway station can be accessed at 35th street, a very short walk, and both the yellow and orange lines stop there. There are some good restaurants just a few footsteps away, including the one connected with the hotel. And the heart of Koreatown, with those restaurants, is just a few blocks south. If you're looking for a centrally located place in great proximity to the normal NYC attractions and food, this is it. This might be the most quiet hotel in which we've stayed in the city. Sure, if there is a very loud siren on a nearby street, you'll hear it. But nothing was loud enough to awaken either of us. We did hear our neighbors one morning, early, but that was it. They must have been packing to leave. You won't need ear plugs. We stayed on the 16th floor (I think that the hotel has about 20 floors) in a queen suite, empire state building view. The hotel is really close to the empire state building so you have to go to the window and look up to see it. But for a few extra bucks it could be worth it. There was a lot of room to move around, which is a bonus in NYC. And having a mini refrigerator, a microwave, and a second sink in the room is simply awesome. The staff is really nice. Jamie at the front door is awesome at his job. The front desk staff, namely Shelley (and others), were friendly and also helpful. There are 2 elevators serving the building and they can get busy. You might have a bit of a wait now and then, but it's never too bad. If you leave early or get home late, it's no wait. If you are coming or going when others are checking out, it might be a few minutes. We love NYC and I think that we've found our place. Location, quiet, clean, lots of room, friendly. We'll definitely look into this hotel as our first choice the next time we're in town.

Special thanks to Steve, the manager, who was very professional, attentive, and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York and would happily stay here again in the future.

We had a delayed flight upon arrival but the hotel assisted us immediately to ensure we could go to sleep without further delay. Special shoutout to Shelley and Louis for arranging all of this! The room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, an ideal stay for our visit to New York. Would definitely recommend to all families and friends visiting the city. It was perfect.

• Anna (8/5): Wspaniały pobyt we wspaniałym mieście - Personel był bardzo pomocny, pokój dobrze zaopatrzony, w razie braku np kawy, w recepcji można było prosić o uzupełnienie zapasu. Miły akcent w postaci lemoniady/wody/kawy na głównym korytarzu Miałam wrażenie przy wejściu do pokoju, że obsługa spodziewała się 2 a nie 3 gości, ponieważ łóżko dla 3 osoby było nierozłożone.
• e3ifwfgxr6 (2/5): Never again ! - Just after the check-in, we couldn’t take the elevators because in the 2 there were large, big black trash cans, we had to wait for someone to take them off and it smelled very strongly. The room was small and did not seem to be 33m2 at all. There were also bad smells in the room coming from the bathroom. The sofa bed was covered in really suspicious stains that made us not want to sit on it, let alone sleep on it. Finally, contrary to what was stated in the reservation, it was not a suite with a large bed at all, but rather a narrow queen bed. We stayed in the room for only five minutes and left immediately; we did not even wanted to spend a single night there.

• Lewis (8/5): Great stay only let down mentioned in the comments. - Great location and very clean. The issue we had was the doorman tried to persuade us the trains would be far too busy and we wouldn’t make the airport in time and we had to book a private taxi through the hotel for $110. After some research we found the opposite to be true for Monday rush hour and had no issues with the train at 4pm on a Monday costing less then $40 total (for two of us). The traffic if we were to get the taxi would have been far worse and taken much longer. This was disappointing being given unprofessional false information trying to take advantage and make us pay over the odds for additional services if we had trusted the staff.

• Kravman (8/5): Great NYC Option - Great hotel! Well appointed rooms, fantastic location (walking distance to most spots of interest as well as public transportation), and very friendly staff (especially Yadira and Merideth at the front desk). Gym has sufficient equipment for a good "vacation" work out. The only reason why 5 stars was not given is due to our room not having been cleaned 1 day - however this was quickly remedied with a call to the front desk. Thank you to Meredith who was at the front desk during our stay and to Yadira who was so nice during the reservation proces.
