Guest Reviews
- Aleena (8/5): Unbeatable Service - The staff at Pavilions are truly who make this hotel shine. As a seasoned traveler, this is the best customer service and hospitality I've ever experienced.
The staff are experts at personalised interactions, remembering small details of what you prefer. They are always eager to please and go out of their way to fulfil any request. This results in an overall feeling that you have your own private team taking care of your every need. It helps that there are only 14 villas on the property. Super commendations to them all!
The reason they (regrettably) lost a star for me is for the food and general upkeep of the hotel. There were many little things that weren't ideal, such as no organised tours or activities and improvements needed on cleanliness and maintenance. As for food, the menu is too large and varied for such a small farm to table restaurant which means quality is affected. Some of the food was really good and some was just ok. The common areas (washroom, yoga room, pool loungers) do not feel deeply cleaned, and our room though the cleanliness was ok, did have some cobweb and dirt build-up.
What I will say is, having had a few conversations with the owners who are often at the property as they live nearby, they are receptive and grateful for our feedback. So hopefully in the future Pavilions can own that 5 star, because they definitely have the potential!
- jordark (10/5): Relaxing Resort and Great Philosophy - The resort is set in a picturesque environment outside Pokhara. Perfect for a base exploring the region or relaxing after a hike. However the highlight for us was meeting the owner and learning about how the resort trains and gives back to the local community. They also have a school up the road which trains at risk youth to give them a future. We loved the opportunity to talk to them as they learn and move forward in their lives. This is what made the stay beyond special.
- catp655 (10/5): Perfect stay - We loved our 3 night stay at this peaceful oasis. Everything is perfect for relaxing and the staff were so helpful in arranging excursions for us. Special mention to Anuja and the team in the restaurant who were excellent (we ate every meal there for our whole stay). The food was delicious and the service was very thoughtful and attentive. Wish we could have stayed longer.
- Pablohead (10/5): Already Booked My Return! - Since I only eat "plants," one can easily deduce why I instinctively gravitate toward any establishment with the word "Farm" in its name. Upon arriving, I was immediately struck by the beauty, the ORGANIC beauty, exemplified by not just happy flowers and animals, but happy employees! The vibe was so kind and gracious. My room was impeccable -- spacious, yet warm and inviting. My deck, and its gorgeous view, came with a greater variety of birds than I knew existed, each of whom simply couldn't have more to say to one another (or, in retrospect, perhaps it was MY bird-brain they were addressing . . . . hmmmmmm). Had several different massages (no, not in the same day!), and all proved more than beneficial for my busted up bod. Lastly, and most importantly, the meals. I'll spare the kind reader with the astronomical level of my happiness, other than to say, I'm returning to their establishment tomorrow, for roughly three more days! Whilst not exactly salivating with anticipation . . . I'm . . . I'm . . . fine; I'm salivating. There, I said it. Lastly, and perhaps TMI, I met a VERY nice sentient being, who accepted my offer to join me for a meal. Apologies if she objects to my sharing her absolute beauty.
- Ahtrm (10/5): Wonderful place to stay - and excellent treatments! - We had a wonderful couple of nights at the Pavilion in between a trekking trip and a rafting trip - and it was an oasis of calm. The room was large and the bed was comfortable - and the main area of the hotel is very relaxing, serving excellent food and drinks. We decided to stay local - and enjoyed an excellent cooking class at the hotel's partner organisation, well worth doing if you have the time. Also most definitely well worth doing is having a massage - this is not only excellent value, but is possibly one of the best spa treatments we have had. Which after the trekking was just ideal! Thank you all for such a lovely stay.
- Jeffrey (10/5): Wonderful off-the beaten-path, eco-friendly hotel - This eco-friendly, farm-to-table hotel was amazing! It’s in a beautiful location in the hills outside of Pokhara and is a wonderful place to spend quiet days in natural beauty with an excellent restaurant and spa. Their service, cleanliness, and dedication to giving back to their local community are impressive.
- joris757 (10/5): A hidden gem in Pokhara due to its staff, eco friendly organic food from their own farm and its surroundings and pool. - The Pavilions Himalayas – The Farm is a hidden gem in Pokhara, blending eco-luxury with stunning natural beauty. Nestled in lush hills with views of the Annapurna range, this sustainable retreat feels both authentic and indulgent. The villa-style suites are spacious, beautifully designed, and feature thoughtful touches like outdoor bathtubs with mountain views.
The on-site restaurant serves delicious, fresh meals with organic ingredients sourced from their own farm. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to make your stay exceptional. For those seeking a peaceful escape that supports the environment and local community, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommend!
- Zanzibeast (10/5): I cannot recommend this place enough. Heaven - I cannot say enough how brilliant this place is. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Not only are the rooms beautiful (we stayed in one of the chalets), the food is incredible, the staff couldn’t have been helpful enough and the pool area was beyond peaceful. The ethos of this hotel was a big part of what attracted us to it - it puts 50-70% of profits into local children’s education, and provides further education in hospitality - some of the staff got their eduction through the charity. The food concept - farm to table - meant almost everything from the menu is grown within the farm, and the food was diverse and exceptional. This place was just what we needed after our two weeks trekking, including the excellent massages. We had plans to explore Pokhara and we didn’t leave the hotel once!!! There was also a very charming hotel dog kitten friendship happening which provided me with a lot of smiles. I wish we had stayed longer!
- Fiona (10/5): Absolutely amazing!!! - I was travelling solo whilst my boyfriend was on a separate trip in Nepal so decided to treat myself and I did not regret it! It was so calm and tranquil, definitely what I needed after 10 days of trekking. The food menu was extensive so I didn't feel the need to go out to lakeside and allowed me to enjoy my time there. Will definitely be back again and would highly recommend
- Thien (10/5): - Great get away oasis in the hills surrounded by rice paddies and nature with a beautiful cliff view. The tranquility and exquisite appointment of the rooms and facilities, especially the infinity pool, made for a relaxing treat after a long trekking tour.
- mojcam893 (10/5): Relaxing peaceful nourishing. Great for remote workers specifically! - This place is all soul. The staff makes you feel welcomed, accommodated for, cared for in every way you need while respecting your space and privacy. The surrounding nature will captivate your heart and the food they prepare their from their own local organic garden and farm will nourish your body in ways you can’t imagine - I sure didn’t:)
After staying here for 10 days straight I feel rejuvenated, relaxed and happy:)
I hope my travels lead me back here some day.
- Christopher (2/5): - The entire airport was closed for all flights and we were unable to arrive to the hotel, and the hotel did not allow us to re-schedule our booking and charged the full amount.
- Adesegun (10/5): - My wife and I spent four memorable and wonderful nights at this resort. This is a high end, luxurious and well priced resort with excellent eco credentials and belief. The contribution of the resort to the local community and charity is remarkable. The rooms are spacious, well designed and decorated with great views from the bed, indoor sitting area and outdoor patio. The staff are very pleasant, genuine in their care for guests and do everything possible to ensure guests safety, comfort and wellbeing.
The hotel is located in a rural area on a farm but it is not isolated and there are great walks in the vicinity. The hike from the resort to the Peace Pagoda and Shiva’s Temple is recommended.
Breakfast is served in a fabulous restaurant and the quality of the food is excellent particularly as most items are straight from the farm and fresh. The Chef is a great credit to the resort. A la carte menu for dinners (we didn’t have lunch) has a good selection, tasty and cooked very well.
The infinity swimming pool is fed with natural water and is very refreshing after a long hike. It also has adequate facilities for quests.
Overall, this is a fantastic and luxurious place for relaxation. It is good for sightseeing but you will need a taxi and the one we organised ourselves was very reasonably priced. Staying here gives you a feel good factor because profits from the business support the local community and a charity run school.
- H9866WEchloer (10/5): Stunning hotel! Highly recommend - What a truly wonderful place this is! It's a true relaxation gem. The amenities were wonderful, the rooms were spacious and stunning, the food was delicious, and the staff members were incredible. The hotel is in a completely breathtaking and serene farmside location. It's a great distance from Pokhara, too; it was just a 15-minute drive. We really loved our stay. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough!
- katesS5174FB (10/5): Amazing stay at Pavilions Himalaya!! - This was an incredible stay! The staff was extremely attentive and the rooms were beautiful. The place was cosy and we were perfectly nestled in with the nature. It was easy to get a taxi into Pohkara center, and I would definitely stay here again!
- manasvinia2024 (10/5): Exceptional Time at the Pavilions! - Our stay at the Pavilions Himalayas was nothing but extraordinary! The villas were absolutely gorgeous and made it feel like we were in our own world. The farm and nature scenery was gorgeous as well as the views of the mountains. The food was also exceptional! I had the chance to try many different items on the menu and they were all truly wonderful (especially recommend the hakka noodles and the himalayan salt and pepper mushrooms)! The staff was also so friendly and always willing to help, whether that was filling your water bottle or making sure you get back to your villa safely. They showed me and all the other guests an immense amount of kindness and compassion and I would not hesitate to recommend the Pavilions to anyone coming to visit Pokhara.
- juliakB8873VK (10/5): Exceeded expectations!! Incredible staff! - Beautiful resort with beautiful scenery. Luxury food and pool. Kindest staff I've ever experienced!!! They will support you in whatever you need. They can arrange for experiences like river rafting, hikes, tours, etc.. Private pavilions with balconies, provided filtered water. Housekeeping each day. 15 minute drive from Pokhara. Highly recommend staying here.
- calliopes840 (10/5): The Pavilions Himalayas - The Farm is the Best! - The Pavilions Himalayas is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! The staff are incredibly accommodating, helpful, and kind - they made my birthday such a wonderful day! The villas were very comfortable and relaxing. They offer many amazing excursions, and the views are amazing!!
- Neshat (10/5): - Fantastic experiance at Pavilion THE FARM!
The place is so relaxing and peaceful and was exactly what we needed after trekking for 2 weeks
The villas are huge and each with a character and great views to the farm
- PunShai (10/5): The perfect gateway - ESG concept in mind, the hotel manages to bring about a positive impact to the locals and its guest.
The staffs were top class with their hospitality.
The food was delish.
The environment is peaceful.
The spa was amazing.
A must visit for a get away from the get away.
- 618vishals (10/5): Best tranquil serene resort in Pokhara - Serene, bountiful and excellent place for nature lovers... Must stay if you are looking for fresh farm food, borderless resort, excellent motivated team, wonderful host. The resort itself is a jewel in the crown in Pokhara. Would definitely not give this experience a miss whilst in Nepal
- suzannebG5679KO (10/5): A wonderful place to stay at the start of our Himalayas journey. - An incredible place to stay. Service fantastic and genuinely warm. Rooms lovely and beds very comfy. Setting perfect. Loved the bar and the food. Best Gin Martini ever. Spa services wonderful. Everyone working here couldn't do enough for us.
- david (10/5): Great little gem - WOW What an amazing place...tucked away in the hills outside of Pokhara..staff amazing..location and views superb..upgraded on arrival to luxury lodge which was a lovely gesture.Super comfy room and bed and enjoyed the jacuzzi bath.Would like to have stayed another night and had a massage but unfortunately my budget said no.
- Tango_Lima_1 (10/5): a relaxed luxury experience surrounded by beautiful nature - Located in a green valley about 25 minutes drive from the lakeside, the Pavillions The Farm is a peaceful place to unwind. The living space in the villas is generous, and the floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows make the beautiful garden appear like an additional room. The entire team is doing a fantastic job making every moment a happy one.
Besides offering a relaxed luxury experience surrounded by beautiful nature, it's wonderful to stay with people who genuinely care about the environmental impact of their business and who also support social projects in their community. I've visited twice in the past six months and can't wait to be back again soon. Very much recommended.
- Dagmar2011 (10/5): Peaceful comfortable hideaway in the mountains - Ca 20 min drive from Pokhara is this lovely farm with ca 10 guest houses. Modern and comfortable accommodation, lovely grounds that invite a stroll amoungs everything they grow and use in the kitchen. Rice paddies, banana plants, lovely flowers, lemon tree, water buffalos and chicken, coffee plants. Food is wonderful. There is a great infinity pool and spa. The team is amazing and super friendly and efficient! Can highly recommend!
- Benjamin (10/5): A slice of paradise - An absolutely idyllic getaway in the hills outside of Pokhara.
The staff were excellent (in particular Sirjan and Anuja in the restaurant) and the rooms were luxurious. Moreover, the food was delicious and the epitome of farm-to-fork!
I would happily come back in a heartbeat!
- Huzair (8/5): Good but not great - The Pavillion Himalayas the Farm was a really good resort and definitely eco friendly however my husband and I experienced the electricity to go on and off and found quite a few insects in the room. The staff was amazing but the services were slow and the food at the restaurant was okay. It's definitely a good place to stay but if you want a luxury resort experience this is not it
- Naima (10/5): - Words can not give justice to this wonderful place, everything is above amazing from the location, the service, the massages, the staff, the organic food not to forget the owner who makes you feel home.
- Jessica (10/5): Heavenly! - Absolutely fantastic hotel with wonderful staff. The food is fantastic and the villas are heavenly. Tons of space, cool decor and a great jacuzzi tub. A little bit outside of town but well worth it. I'll be back for sure!
- Anders (10/5): Remote but very beautiful - Great place. Excellent service. A bit remote but worth it. Very nice rooms and view
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Gorgeous resort getaway with breathtaking views of the Himalayas and rice terraces. The property is located on a farm which produces a lot of the fresh produce served at the hotel restaurant. They even gave us a bottle of fresh milk from the cows on the property one morning. I would definitely consider coming back to this place if I ever visit Pokhara again.
- Christopher (10/5): Eco-tastic luxury relaxation location - Beautiful boutique luxury hotel. The service is impeccable, and the food is excellent. I love the ecological ethos of the place, they have an organic farm on site which provides most of their ingredients, and everything is very sustainability focused. We had a terrific stay.
The only watch out is that it's quite a long way from lakeside (Pokhara downtown), the 8km drive takes about 25-30mins, and the hotel car is quite expensive, whilst a local taxi requires negotiation!
All in all a great place to chill out and relax by the pool!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The view was awesome and the food was so good even they provided the vegetarian meals which was not in there menu.
- Nicole (10/5): - It is an amazing place. Beautiful scenery, peaceful, and has a great story behind it. Looking forward to returning here. The service is exemplary and the goats!!!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The concept and design of the architecture is amazing —— the comfort of the suites , is excellent and the staff is very attentive and cordial . But the place is lacking with amenities for it to be called a resort —-
- Stephen (8/5): Boutique hotel just outside of Pokhara - Pavilisons is an really stunning hotel situated in a village next to Pokhara. Stayed in one of the villas and it was beautiful. Service at the restaurant was good and it’s the perfect place to unwind and relax, especially after doing the Annapurna Circuit. Stayed 3 nights and the only downside was the power/water tripped to our villa on the last night around midnight and we were without water or power/ aircon for the night. Front desk didn’t answer the phone and it was only restored when I found a maintenance person at 6am. For a hotel of this type, they really should be contactable 24 hours by phone. The other point which is worth considering is it takes l about 20-30mins to get to lakeside from the hotel. So if you are having a late night in Pokhara, can be difficult to get a taxi back. The last few Kms to hotel on unpaved road so quite bumpy and taxis may not be able to cope well.
- Nigel (10/5): The place to relax in nature. - Great stay for a few days rest.Difficult access via a very bad 3km drive would put off people wanting to leave the hotel for dinners out etc. Good news is the hotel food is not expensive and tasty. As with many of these places the wifi could be improved.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Hidden gem - We had a medical emergency while staying at this hotel and the staff was amazing, treating us like family and going above and beyond to assist us. Wonderful property, luxury at its best, and customer service was exceptional.
