Guest Reviews
- Rolando (2/5): - The hotel was closed
- Joseph (2/5): 80 bucks wasted - shower over flowed within the first 3 minutes there were stains on all bedding the tv sprakers were blown the ac froze up the fridge wouldnt stay cold the neighbors were louder than loud it was an awful experience
- Kristen (6/5): Not frilly, but nice! - Served the purpose. Bed was comfortable.
- 927deed (2/5): Disgusting!!!!!!!! - AVIOD....sleep in your car if you have too. Nasty, bad service, roach infested, no security, old hard bedding, dirt sheets, smells, ac bad, the owner is rude and could care less. I could go on and on and on and on! Lots of new hotels on 27 to pick from choose any of them!!
- Neskya (8/5): Still old but clean~ - This motel is run by a veteran, which (in my mind) makes it even better. It's right on the highway, but you don't hear the noise, a definite plus. It's clean, has a lovely scent when you walk in, has what most travelers would want (tho there is no phone in the room). Nice place, nice price~
- Verified traveler (2/5): Hotel not worth the stay if it was free - We went for a Dance weekend & Christmas party. Ate at Cody's restaurant which was terrific!
- Gary (8/5): Good Value - This is decent value-priced motel. It "filled the bill" for my stay.
- Jill (6/5): Cheap rates, but you get what you pay for. - The check in person didn't know what he was doing. Did not have a copy of my reservation, or know how to use the credit card machine. There was no ashtray in a smoking room. Only 3 pillows for a king size bed. When housekeeping came by, they didn't have a cart to replace linens immediately. I had to wait for her to come back. The ice machine you had to pay extra for. They also use cheap detergent to wash their stuff in, & my boyfriend got a terrible contact allergic dermatitis from the sheets.
- Amanda (4/5): Cheap, safe - Very basic and old school... Cheap and safe though
- Callie (2/5): Old hotel almost on top of highway - Noisy road traffic all day and night. Rotten door framing--crawling ants popping out.
Drafty windows with mold growing in caulking. Peeling paint. Firm mattress and clean, newer bed-spread were the only pluses. Will never stay there again and won't recommend it to anyone.
- Barbara (2/5): The worst hotel I've ever stayed at!!!!!!!! - This hotel is in the worst shape I have ever seen. The walls in the bathroom had peeling paint, The door to the bathroom had strips of the wood peeled off. The wall to wall rug was folded over in the middle. The hot water was luke warm at best. Your whole shower was taken with no cold water turned on or the shower was too cold. My curling iron blew the circuit breaker. No coffee pot,,,,no phone in the room to call the office,,,,the fridge did not get cold, a little cool, maybe. The lamp had a broken lampshade that barely hung on. The shelf above where you hung your close had a huge layer of dust on it.There was no tag in the room to put on your door,, And the room had an old musty odor to it.
- Elliott (2/5): Cheapest place to sleep near Sebring Int'l Raceway - If money is your top priority - then this place should be OK. If you are looking for comfort, look elsewhere.
We were looking for a cheap place to sleep while we visited Sebring for an HPDE event. This was the place we selected. We were late checking in Friday night (10pm) but the office attendant came to the window once we rang the bell and got us pre-paid and our room key.
The room was in 'power save' mode. A/C was unplugged and not running - so it was very warm and muggy in the room. It took the room until about 4am to finally be an acceptable temperature. The carpet felt funky so we always kept our sandals on. All the corners had spiders/webs in them. The furniture was all very warn, old, and stained. The TV was nice. The old TV was in the closet along with a handicap toilet/shower seat. Kind of gross/weird. The toilet had green and pink mold (?) around the water ring. The toilet area had a bad smell - slight body odor? The overall appearance was poor: bathroom cabinets were all ripped out but the walls were not repaired after, you could see where items used to be but were no longer in the room, there was a random paper towel holder on the wall, the shower drain was slow (stand in own dirty water). Additionally, every time we went to bed, our noses would get stuffed up - must have been something in the air or in the beds that our noses didn't like. We will not be returning.
- Cynthia (4/5): Ok for one night - Ok is you are staying a night or two and only need a room to sleep. Not a good place for a family vacation.
- thenickHolidays (8/5): This is an old Motel but clean - The reason we picked this Motel was because it was close to folks we were visiting. The room was showing it's age with chipping paint and out dated decor. But it was clean, cool and we slept well. No coffee in the room or breakfast.
- lawrenceg687 (2/5): Awful visit - Wouldn't even give us fresh towels or change our bedding. We wanted to stay for a week, but decided to go else where afterwards, this was an awful experience. We had to buy towels. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
