- P8344UTandreal (10/5): Great find. Great price. You won't regret staying here - We had an event at the Empire theatre and wanted something close but not too expensive as it was just for one night. We walked across the road to the Federal hotel for tea which was great and then caught an uber to the theatre for $10, and the fact that the rooms are large, clean with that country charm was a bonus. We also had a lovely brekky from room service. We will definitely be back when we wish to have another night out at the Empire theatre. Ps. The staff are super friendly.

Ownly down side was the non appearance of 13 cabs. - Heidi (6/5): Fine for a budget motel stay - Motel was fine for a single night stay. Location is good with easy access to dinner options and reception friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable for a single night stay. As a business traveller there is a table and a small desk area which was handy for doing some work plus the wifi is quick and reliable. Unfortunately the chairs for this were old, stained and very uncomfortable, the padding had completely collapsed on all 3 chairs so not suited for any length of time sitting on, I made do with a collection of cushions to be able to sit on the chair to do some work. Breakfast is available from 6:30am so I wasn't able to try this, 'continental' breakfast can be provided the day before but it is very basic so I recommend using a nearby supermarket to grab a bite if leaving early.

Only annoyance is the guest laundry was locked early and not open until reception hours, would have been great to have access over the night to get washing done and packed.

- Alan (4/5): Central location with a lot of drawbacks - Room was spacious and they had netflix ready to go, but that was it. The spa was nice, it looked clean (when filled with water) and there was a hygenic tag over it which was nice. Location was a bonus, being near the main central areas. Bathroom fan was really loud. Bathroom floor was also very dirty, the bath towel picked up so much dirty after the floor got wet, it was a disgusting sight to see. Bed was firm, but the pillow was too high for me and my partner, so we weren't able to get a good night sleep... You could hear your neighbours opening and closing their doors, which made it more difficult to sleep.
