• CHIE (10/5): お兄さんの気遣いがうれしく、ゆったりと気楽に過ごせる宿。 - 部屋は寝るところとシャワー・バスが広々としていてゆったりと過ごせました。 アメニティも充実していて良かったです。 管理人さんは常駐していないので、チェックイン時に時間を伝える必要があります。今回少し遅れてしまったのですが、近所のクリーニング屋のおじさんが声をかけてくれたりして無事に会えました。 旅のプランを聞いて、移動手段などをi padで教えてくれたりしてお世話になりました。 宿の中で顔を合わせると、何か困ったことはないか聞いてくれたり、 こちらの拙い英語と韓国語でのこの日こんなことがあったという一方的な喋りにも付き合ってくれて、楽しく過ごすことができました。 １点気をつけてほしいのが、他の部屋はわからないけれどシャワーのお湯の出が結構悪かった（水がお湯になるまで10分近くかかった）ことです。 それ以外はとても良かったです。

• SATOSHI (8/5): コストパフォーマンス最高でした。 - ゲストハウスあるいはホステルという範疇の宿泊施設でしたが、コストパフォーマンス最高でした。立地も、バスターミナルから徒歩１５分ほど、地下鉄農城駅には３分と便利です。 チェックインが深夜１２：００、チェックアウトが早朝４：００でしたが事前にメールをしてオーナーが快く対応してくれました。結局使わなかったけどミーティングルームやキッチンもあります。トースト、ラーメンなどが無料です。 もちろんWi-Fi完備です。 すぐ近くにコンビニ（ミニストップ）もあります。 一人旅では大満足です。
• Masako (10/5): ご飯のある、過ごしやすい環境 - ホテルの看板が分からず、うろうろしてると建物から、オーナーが出て来て案内してくれました。 最初にラッピングしてあるアメニティを渡され、カギ、部屋の案内、キッチン、無料洗濯機の利用など手際よく案内してくれました。キッチンが自由に使えて、近くのマーケットから食材を買って 料理する事が出来ました。毎日、出来立てご飯があります。 手際よく
• ぱっち (10/5): - バスターミナルから近いのでバス移動の人には便利だと思います。スタッフの方もとても親切で感じの良い方でした。キッチンにはパンやらご飯やら用意してあり、自由に食べることができたので、それも良かったです。
• マリリン (8/5): - 駅から歩いて15分弱。入り口は少しわかりずらかったが、皆さんお書きの通り、オーナーが大変親切だった。五階までエレベーターはなく、階段もあまりきれいではないが、部屋の中は清潔で、宿泊に問題ない。駅近くのラブホテル街より安く、女性一人旅の方もおり、安心感がある。
• ハマのイチロー (6/5): 管理人のお兄様がとても親切で、変わった体験ができる。 - チェックイン１８時、チェックアウト７時には驚きましたが、ずいぶん融通もききました。 厨房もラウンジもあり洗濯機も使え、しかも３食付とは！ 如何せんエレベーターが無く、荷物は管理人が運んでくれました。 バックパッカー向きかも。
• Verified traveler (10/5): とにかく便利です。 - マネージャーは若い男性ですが、気配りがよく出来る人です。何かと親切に声をかけてくれます。部屋の掃除もよく行き届いていると思います。ベッドの下も埃りがありません。掃除の必要な時は札をドアにかけておきます。それ以外は部屋を開けませんので衣服を掛けっぱなしでも気をつかわなくてすみます。食事はフリーで材料は備えてあるのでラーメンを作って食べることも出来ます。光州バスターミナルから７００㍍位なので徒歩で行けます。タミャン、南原、白羊寺など周辺の観光地に出かけるのに便利です。地下鉄農城駅まで徒歩５分くらいなので地下鉄も利用して市内観光にも便利です。

• Kaylin (10/5): Spacious private wet bathroom - The owner was very helpful in helping navigate, from the train station. He emailed a few days before to ask what time we would likely check in. We texted him for public trans and popular spots to tour. He provided maps. Check in included a care package of all the essentials (and more) for grooming. Filtered water was available. We didn't try breakfast but ramen, coffee, tea and water were available. The stairs were very dusty but it didn't bother anyone's allergies, surprinsingly. The key for our room included a flashlight and panic button, in case of emergencies. There is no elevator, but the stairs were carpeted. There was a window in our room. No outisde noise was heard on the 4th floor. Very close to the subway and bus stops. I would definitely stay here again.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible facilities, services, dishonest owner - 好鬼唔誠實的HOSTEL, 個OWNER自己貪小便宜, 設施服務差, 比錢我都唔會再入住囉. 1. 沖涼, 要先開水10分鐘以上,才有熱水供應 2. 沖涼位置要從坐廁及洗面盆中間的隙縫入...沖完涼, 隻腳掂到坐廁邊才出到廁所囉 (我不重過110磅） 3. 全棟走廊開窗, 早晚出入上落超凍 4. 公眾飲水機地下, 或最高"廚房", 夜晚九/十點過後, 公眾地方全關燈, 要摸黑, 頗危險 5. 一小包仔的試用裝大小的補充裝沖涼液供你數天使用,要見到OWNER才可再取,極不方便 6. OWNER說只有他一人打理, 所以你入住到走, 不會有人執房, 除非你電郵說明, 還要清楚交代咩野要做喎....唔係佢唔會做 7. 提早CHECK-OUT(早上七時前), 發現遺留小手信, 1.5小時內電郵OWNER, OWNER說掉了....(好恐怖, 無得抵賴係其他人取了, 因為他自己做清潔)
• ai (8/5): 사장님 친절하셔요~^^ - 사장님께서 무척 친절하시고 숙소에서 지내기 편하고 조용하고 좋았어요. 칫솔은 따로 준비해 가시기를 권합니다. 광주 택시 기사님들은 그리 친절하지 않으시더라구요~ 광주고터에서 옥스블러드까지 택시타고 기본요금(2,800원) 정도 나오는 거리인데 뺑 도시고, 가깝다고 하시며 퉁명스러우시고~^^;; 될 수 있으면 버스 타시거나 걸어가시기를(케리어 끌고 제 걸음으로 걸어서 20분 조금 안 걸립니다) 권합니다.
• SC (10/5): Gwangju's Hidden Gem - This hostel is owned, managed and staffed by a one-man show. He is always alert, eager to help, and kind. He is also the Tourist Information Centre. If you need any advise, he will be the man. This is what a great hostel should be. I booked a single room for 2 nights and I was very satisfied with it - flat TV, heater, fan, and toiletries. There was a kitchen that open 24 hours. They got ramen, egg, sausages, bread, orange juice , milk and etc - you just have to cook it yourself and wash it up. The location is about 15 minutes walk from the main bus terminal where you can get inter-city bus, and about 5 mins walk from the nearest subway. All in all, I highly recommend this place.
• jeeyoung (10/5): 여행자를 위한 최고의 숙소 - 사장님 엄청 친절하시고, 숙소 저렴하고 깔끔합니다. 방 청결상태나 침구류도 깨끗하고 편안합니다. 주방은 24시간 오픈되어있고, 조식메뉴로 보통 나오는 식품들을 상시 구비해두셨어요. 심지어 라면도 언제든 배고플 때 각자 끓여먹을 수 있습니다. 휴게실은 사용이 별로 없는지 약간 먼지가 있고 협소합니다. 세탁기도 무료로 사용가능합니다. 1층엔 여행 관련한 각종 자료들을 언제든 가져다 볼 수 있게 비치해두셨구요. 어메니티로 각종 욕실용품에 마스크팩까지 준비해주실 줄이야!!! 이정도 가격으로 이렇게 깔끔한 곳에서 매일 여독을 풀기가 가능할 거라 생각 못했어요. 여행자가 정말 필요한 게 뭔지 아시는 분이라 생각합니다. (^^)=b 다시 광주에 가게 되면 결단코 옥스블러드케이!!

• AL (8/5): Great clean and comfortable accommodation - This was the hotel what I wanted to find. Very kind preparations of all my needs that I have ever received; each clean packed room stuffs and disposable things, disposable toothpaste and cleansing facial form even prepared. The kitchen also has many to cook meals and the cookers are clean as well(more than other hotels I experienced). Tourist Guides are also well prepared. I really recommend you this accommodation

I guess the video was made more than a year ago. All in all, I highly recommend this place.
• Richard (8/5): Great value and location - This place is conveniently situated about 10 minutes walk to the bus station and about five minutes to the subway, which connects to the airport. There are lots of restaurants and huge e market for supplies. It's not a new place and is a bit crusty, but it makes up for it with a nice common room and small kitchen with free supplies for breakfast. The room was small but the beds comfortable. Bedrooms come with all sorts of supplies like shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, brushes, hairdryer, etc.. The manager is very sweet and very obliging. In all great value for money.

We enjoyed our stay here. And will definitely refer this hostel to my friend who may plan to go to Gwangju city in near future.
• Emmanuel (8/5): - This hostel would benefit backpackers on a low budget. There are cooking facilities in the property which would help those who are not very keen on the local food or they want to save money

• RENA (10/5): 光州泊なら絶対オススメ - 登山目的で韓国へ。光州バスターミナル付近の宿が絶対条件の中、地下鉄からも近く、バスターミナルまでも徒歩圏内かつ、コスパがすごい！！宿のチーフマネージャーの親切なこと。周辺付近も含めた観光に役立つチラシも多数置いてあり本当に助かりました。光州に再び行く際は、迷わずまた泊まります。自炊の朝食までついていて、本当に儲けはあるのかと心配になる位でした。今回は、３人（男１・女２）での宿泊のため、私は女性限定のシェアルームに泊まりました。３泊中、ルームメイトは一人だけでしたが、女性同士のグループなら、シェアルームで修学旅行気分をあえて味わうのもいいかもしれませんよ(^^♪　今度は、ハングルを少しでも身に着けて、また遊びに行きたいです。カムサハムニダ～♪♪♪
• ken (8/5): 大通りから１本裏手の静かで自由気ままなホステル - 建物は新しくはなく、またエレベーターもありませんが、室内はしっかりリフォームされており、快適な環境でした。チェックインの際にはオーナーさん自ら荷物を持って部屋まで案内してくださり、好印象でした。 共用キッチンは24時間利用可。冷蔵庫の食材やインスタントラーメンがフリーなのがうれしい心遣い。隣にはランドリーもありました。 チェックインの時間が限られていますので、この時間から外れる際には予約時にしっかりとリクエストしておいて下さい。 若きオーナーさんは常駐ではなく、また日本語も話せませんが、片言の韓国語か英語でどうにかなります。お仕着せでない、いかにも韓国人（というよりも全羅道人）らしいホスピタリティ精神にあふれ、きっと良き旅の相談相手となってくれることでしょう。
• me (8/5): 駅近で安心、快適なゲストハウス - ガソリンスタンドの手前で右に曲がり、一本奥の路地に入ったところにあります。見つかるまでちょっと不安になりましたが、農城駅からは近いです。マネージャーの方が暖かく出迎えてくださり、丁寧な説明していただきました。玄関は24時間ロックがかかっていて、一人旅で一泊でしたが、安心して滞在できました。
• T (10/5): 優しい笑顔のオーナーが出迎えてくれます。 - チェックイン時間前に到着したのにも関わらず、オーナーが笑顔で迎えてくださいました。部屋の広さも充分...シャワー、トイレの広さも広々としていました。アメニティーも私には充分すぎる程揃っていて前泊のソウルのゲストハウスと比べれば雲泥の差！部屋の窓に貼られた防寒対策のエアクッション、補修された壁紙と宿泊客への優しさ、気配りが感じられました。普段、格安ホテルやゲストハウスを利用されている方にはお勧めです。今まで利用した韓国のゲストハウスの中では一番！！日本語は通じませんでしたが、何よりも親切なオーナーの優しい笑顔が印象的でした。
• Jin (8/5): 편안한 광주 여행 이였습니다. - 딸과 둘이 지냈습니다. 우선 가격에 비한 전체적인 서비스는 최상이였다고 생각합니다. 운이 좋아서 주차고 가능했고, 에어컨사용, 개인샤워실, 깨끗한침구, 공짜로 제공되는 위생용품들의 다양성, 시간 제한이 없었던 공동주방사용. 혼자서 어린딸을 대리고 여행할때 식사가 참 불편하기 마련인데 다행히 나름 다양한 음식들이 있어서 잘 챙겨먹일수 있어 너무나 감사했습니다. 너무나 편안하게 지내게 되어 또 방문할 계획입니다. 저희는 도보 여행이 아니여서 한적한 동내가 편했지만 도보로 다니시는 분들은 어떨지 모르겠습니다. 조용하고 한적한 동내입니다. 또한 건물이 조금 노후가 되었지만 솔찍히 강남의 노후된 4스타호텔보다 훨씬 더 나은 경험이였다라고 느꼈습니다.

• Xuan Huong (10/5): - The manager was great! He was very kind and considerable. There was an orientation for new guests so that you won't be confused during your stay. He also help me in finding tourist destinations and instructed me how to get there. The hostel also offer free meals for guests during their stay with a variety of food from rice, noodles, bread, cereals, etc. Everything was wonderful. I've been to many places before in Korea with nearly the same price but to me, this place is the best from facilities to service, equivalent to a 3-star hotel, I think.

• Caroline (10/5): Nice surprises at this hostel - Such a friendly and helpful manager. Surprise bag of "goodies" upon arrival, maps and tour information available. Well stocked fridge and kitchen where we could make our own breakfast when we wanted. Quiet neighbourhood yet handy to lots of eating places, banks and shopping. Hot water and warm quilt. Would definitely recommend this hostel to others.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Super helpful manager! - I was not expecting much as the price was low, however my room and bathroom must have been renovated very recently and were in really good condition. The manager went out of his way to help including sending an email to me right after I had booked, with maps/videos showing how to get to the hotel, and his cell phone number in case I got lost. Once checked-in he pointed out all the important sights, provided me with several maps, etc., so all-in-all a very helpful guy! The hotel provides not only the standard toast and coffee breakfast but you can actually grab anything you like from the kitchen at any time, including instant noodles, bacon, eggs, bread, bananas, coffee, tea, rice, etc.! The location is not far from the intercity bus station (about 10 minutes on foot or a short taxi ride) and several local buses stop just a block away, so yet another reason why I would definitely consider staying again.

• AKiho (10/5): ホテルは寝るだけ！な人におすすめ/ Perfect Saving Hotel - This hostel is the perfect choice for the guest who want to save accommodation costs. The hostel is roundly 10mins by walk from Kwangju Express Bus Terminal, so it is convenient for travellers. You can communicate with the owner in easy English. ホテルは止まるだけ，という方にとってはピッタリのホステルです。 高速バスターミナルや百貨店，ショッピングセンターが近く，買い物や市外への移動にも大変便利です。 シングルルームにはオンドルとヒーター，それに電気毛布があり，快適に就寝できました。 オーナーがとても気の利く方で，気持よく過ごすことができました。 オーナーさんは韓国語が中心ですが，英語もカタコトでできます。
• CECILIA SUNG (10/5): - The manager is friendly and helpful. The room is clean and tidy, and the hostel is easy to find, it's only 5 minutes walk from Nongseong Subway Station, and 10 minutes walk to U Square - the Bus Terminal.

• Yip (10/5): Impressive hostel I have ever stayed! - I have very impressed by the excellent service by this hostel manager, he contacted me before my trip and even reply my message very quickly when I text him, he is very helpful and nice guy to introduce the facilities among hostel even I just stayed 1 night. 10-15 minutes walk to Bus Terminal, they have created a video on youtube to direct you how to get there. They even provide a bag of essential body & skin care samples for your stay, and I am quite surprised by the hair straightener inside a dorm room! The room is clean and enough for individual people or group of people to have a short stay! The hostel manager was so kind to give a pen as a gift while check-out, really recommended this hostel!

• Oi Fong (8/5): 推介入住 - 男主人懂得英語和非常熱情, 在未出發前已預先電郵提供酒店位置地圖, 到步後亦積極介紹光州附近的景點和交通 酒店位置鄰近光州地鐵站, 而且距離光州高速巴士客運站亦相當近, 因此前往光州鄰近的潭陽、寶地等地非常方便!
• Verified traveler (8/5): Surprised by hospitality - please stay there! - We just stayed one night at this hostel but it was by far the friendliest accomodation experience in Korea! The owner is such a nice person! He waited for our arrival & although we were 45 min late he didn't complain. He was always smiling (so rare in Korea!) & when we asked for a spare umbrella to quickly go to the supermarket he offered to take us there. English gladly was no problem for him (also rare!). What he offers in this small hostel is unbelievable compared to other hostels I have stayed at: food is available the whole day (eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns & ramyun), free washing machine, a small package of beauty products, tooth brush, etc. There were letters from former guests downstairs that were so heartwarming to read, everyone complimenting the accomodation and the owner. Totally justified! Tiny weakness - the location is a little bit off, I haven't seen any restaurants, etc. However, it's close to the Bus Terminal and there are a lot of shops, a huge supermarket and even a cinema. I would definitely recommend staying at this place and I wish the owner a lot of friendly guests!
• Verified traveler (8/5): ゆっくり休めて、光州観光も楽しめました。 - 友達と木浦・光州旅行のために利用しました。 値段が安かったためやや不安なまま向かいましたが、思ったよりずっと快適でした。 特に部屋は狭いけれど、バスルームも含めて清潔でよかったです。 到着するとオーナーがセキュリティ、セーフティー関係の説明をしてくれます。 韓国で安全に関するガイダンスがあったことは一度もないのでとても印象的でした。 心配なことはなんでも聞いていいと思います。 光州での観光情報もたくさん教えていただき、地図やクーポンなどをいただきました。 おかげで光州観光も楽しめて本当によかったです。 共用のキッチンで食事をしているカップルが居たので、私たちは休憩室にテーブルを入れていただきゆっくりトーストを頂きました。 光州に来るときはまた利用したいです。 女性一人で来る場合、建物内は心配ないですが周辺が少し暗いところもあります。 （大通りの１本裏側の道沿いにあります。） 夜遅い時間は気をつけたほうがいいと思います。
