• Sarah (1/5): Needs to be cleaned a lot better - The accessible bathroom Dirty, found socks and drink bottle under the bed, freezer full of ice- needs a clean. Someone’s dental floss stick in bathroom. Bedroom needs to be rearranged couldn’t get wheelchair in. Coffee table in the middle of lounge not passable with wheelchair. Kettle and toaster in cupboard above over. Can’t reach in wheelchair. Door extremely heavy again not wheelchair friendly. Old brush beside fridge.

Entrance areas we filthy And certainly nothing like it is advertised on booking.com photos don’t match their so called premier two bedroom Overall room was very disappointing. Room was filthy Dirt swept under rugs Rubbish and filth under beds Tap in shower constantly dripped Fridge sounds like spaceship Beds very uncomfortable Wifi useless Constant smell from drain in bathroom Loose faucet taps in kitchen that move Several holes thru out in walls Balcony there wasn’t one we opened thr sliding door which mind you we were on the ground floor and looked at a brick wall Reception his hit and miss and often closed when it is meant to be opened

But it didn’t come with balcony. I don’t like text, I like to be able to talk to someone. I think people don’t realise that when you travel over an hour to spend the weekend in the city. You need to be able to ask questions and have someone answer. It’s not very often we come to the city. The pillows

• Michelle (4/5): Great location poor accommodation - The location was very convenient to the things we wanted to do It was not clean the shower was filthy bathroom not clean. and basic supplies were not provided for a four night stay. Had to ask for dish washing tablets toilet paper. No tea towel or normal dishwashing liquid supplied. Lamps were broken a power point was coming out of wall and could not shut the blinds at night as cord broken.

• William (6/5): Not as relaxing as we hoped it would be. - Good location Parking is very tight, the room didn’t have a kettle in it to make coffee or tea (after ringing up and informing staff that there was no kettle, one was eventually brought to our room 2hrs later), the extraction fan and light over the cooktop did not work and it was very dark on the workbench area because of that, the cultery hadn’t been washed and still had bits of food stuck on some pieces. The sofa’s are stained badly and on of the blinds wouldn’t rool down, I had to fix it so we could close it.

• Glenys (10/5): - The proximity to the hospital was my priority and these apartments were ideal. I kept having to extend my stay and the staff, particularly Josh and Andy, were friendly and helpful in enabling me to remain in the same apartment. It made a long and difficult time a little easier.

Just a bit of housekeeping not often thought of. After cleaning leave the dishwasher and wash machine doors ajar. When closed for extended periods they tend to smell somewhat.

• Michael (9/5): Great stay in a great location and spotless unit with everything needed - Great Location close to Royal Melbourne Hospital. 1 bedroom unit is ideal size with room to relax without sitting on a bed. Facilities in room are excellent with everything needed for the stay. While reception staff are not readily available, once contacted they are more than willing to help with any requests.

• Susannah (8/5): Good location, comfortable apartment with easy access to CBD by tram - Quiet location in a leafy street with easy to access the CBD by tram. Walking distance to Woolworths Metro store. Modern apartment with comfortable beds. Underground carpark for $10/night. A few minor things not working - the lounge blind couldn't be lowered due to a broken chain. The electrical socket in the laundry cupboard wasn't working. However, these did not really impact the stay and were raised with reception for fixing.

• VAN DER STEEG (4/5): I was happy but also upset it should have be better cleaned so ppl would not be subjected to infection with the Mildew i - The front desk man was very nice and the beds were very comfortable very close to my hospital I needed to go to thank you The fridge freezer was over froze. We were four ppl and we only had2 spoon 2 cups etc but worst of all the exhaust fan was full thick of built up mildew and I have cancer can’t be subjected to infection the bathroom needed to be properly cleaned no mildew on walls behind door as well

The bed was really comfortable. It wasn't super clean. The couches had stains, the rubber seal and the dispenser drawer of the washing machine were dirty. The bathroom wasn't very clean either.

• Kylie (1/5): Filthy, unsafe feeling, unhelpful, holes, mould and dirt - Not much Holes in walls, bed side lamps didn’t work as there were holes where electrical sockets used to be, mould through guest information book, a couch which belonged at the dump its condition was so poor, things very dirty including someone’s blonde hair thick through the carpet and other debris, after night 1 they admitted we were booked into a different room to what we paid for, property refused to engage about a partial refund given all of the above, very very disappointing and would caution again staying here. For all of these problems got a ‘sorry it didn’t meet your expectations’. Was meant to be a premium room, nothing like the photos.

• Megan (8/5): 50/50 - The location was convenient, the apartment was clean and the shower was amazing! There were stains on one of the couches and a mark on each of the coffee tables. The bottom sheets on the bed weren’t quite big enough so they untucked (I’ve never experienced this before at a motel). Expensive considering the age of the furniture, and the whole apartment lacked a welcoming feel. Disappointed that smoking was not allowed on the balcony as this is one of the reasons I book rooms with balconies.

• Li Li (7/5): - Located near hospital which is reason why we book n stay often. for longer stay like more than 2 nights, it will be much APPRECIAted if towels are changed and tea coffee sugar, shampoo/body wash/conditioner topped up. Apartment was vacuumed but if the flooring is mopped will be good because we have our shoes off and you do stepped on sticky stuff. At times when we have to stay longer than 2 nights it will be more than wonderful if the accomodation can be like home.

• Roxane (6/5): Good size apartment in need of some repairs and a good clean - The apartment was quite large and comfortable. Good shower and comfortable bed. Nice street with beautiful trees. Firstly the (late) check in process was laborious. Then the key box had been vandalised that day and all mailboxes in the building looked in poor condition. The main building door was broken and hard to open. Then the room wasn’t fully clean, curtains and bedside lamps were damaged. Finally the balcony was barely half a meter wide, with a huge fence (so no view at all) and dirty.

Blinds were damaged in the Unit. Very basic. Floor in bathroom wasnt mopped properly. Blanket on the bed didnt look very clean. some damage in the walls that easily could have been repaired in the bedroom. overall just disappointing for the unit we were accommodated in.

Dirty apartment, floor not vacuumed, food visible under the couches, and the stains on the couches were disgusting and off putting. Mouldy grout in the shower and soap sum around the bottom of the shower glass, rubbish bins lids looked like they had never been wiped, cutlery was dirty straight out of the drawer. The balcony was filthy and the glass doors leading to the balcony are in a desperate need of a clean. The beds were firm but the bites on us from bed bugs are next level..
