- Hobson (8/5): Great Location and Comfortable - We stay here every year and find it very comfortable and clean. Comes with a lovely view of the lake. Unlike so many hotels these days, someone comes in and tidys up the room, makes the bed, and gives us clean towels. The towels, btw, are big, fluffy and do the job perfectly. My only complaint is that the sound proofing in the rooms isn't great. However, they do provide ear plugs.

For me the bed was very comfortable Not really the lodges fault but someone checked in around one in the morning and between the staff showing the where to park and the people coming in and out it was very loud for 10-15 minutes .

- Erica (7/5): The Lake Life is Here for You - Extremely clean room, the lake is beautiful, excellent amenities for a sunny day at the lake, a lakeside campfire or inside the Tavern on a rainy day - games, games and more games! Staff was welcoming and friendly. Paper thin walls - it’s an older inn so not much could be done about it but the snoring in the room next to us was a lot to listen to, and there’s no ceiling sound insulation so the noises from upstairs are not always subtle. The lake view was beautiful but there is a hallway with windows between the room windows so no privacy if you want to look at the lake from in your room.

- Erica (8/5): Overall a very nice place to stay - Super cute, fairly modern furnishings in our room. The bedside tables came with charge ports which was highly appreciated. Nice fridge with separate freezer, microwave and coffee maker. There was accessibility to various amenities, like watercraft for the lake and play set for kids. Also a grill for guest use. Their WiFi was VERY fast 😊 Super secluded and gorgeous area, the night sky viewing was insane. A good morning walk route around the lake (paved if you get creative lol) I saw LOTS of deer around the property! I also met a cow in a nearby barn 😊 The hot water was plentiful and the towels were big plush and smelled wonderful! The owner was who greeted us at check in and was very nice and thorough. Old creaky wooden floors meant we heard our upstairs neighbors when they walked anywhere. Thin walls meant not much privacy, but they weren’t TOO thin to where we could hear each others tv shows. Not much in the way of food nearby, and nothing in the Inn available; no restaurant lounge or food counter. There was only a lone vending machine at the check in counter. There is a super market about 5.5 miles away.

My only complaint would be the simple door locks. There was only a door knob with a turn lock on both the main door and the door to the balcony. I would have felt better if there was an additional lock for safety on both doors.

- Natalie (4/5): Rambling farmhouse with potential but a disappointing stay—not the cozy retreat we had hoped for. - Situated on a lake with trails. The trails weren’t marked so we walked around for about 20 minutes before finding them. And then we didn’t walk too far because we arrived near dusk and it is hunting season! The building smelled musty and wasn’t warm and welcoming. It felt creepy. If I wasn’t with a group, I would have left. Our rooms were very bare and plain and didn’t look as advertised. The sheets were clean but the coverlets had stains on them.

- Scott (9/5): Great for a small church group or gathering of friends or family. - It's a nice place, would be good for a gathering of friends, a small church group or few families. There's a rec room with games, a fire pit, kayaking, seasonal restaurant, etc. bed was comfortable and it's a quiet location. No complaints. It did take a while for the hot water to make it's way from another building, but they tell you to expect that.

- Anastasia (6/5): - The location is beautiful — there’s a lovely lake nearby and the area is very peaceful. However, we didn’t feel completely safe in the room. There was no double lock, and one of the doors was made of glass, so it felt easy to access from outside. For travelers who value feeling secure and protected, I wouldn’t recommend this place, even though the surroundings are truly beautiful.

La stanza non è grandissima ma per due persone è più che sufficiente. A disposizione in camera c’è un forno a microonde, macchina del caffè e un piccolo tavolo. Il pezzo forte è sicuramente la location. Non abbiamo mai visto nessun membro dello staff. Il check-in essendo Italiani senza la possibilità di accedere al telefono e stato un po’ difficoltoso. Non essendoci nessuno all’accoglienza, e non potendo usare il telefono per chiamare l’addetto, per un momento ci ha provocato del disagio. Fortunatamente tramite l’ App di Booking ho avvisato la struttura che eravamo alla reception, e dopo pochi minuti è arrivato un addetto che ci ha fornito le chiavi della camera

- Susan (7/5): Great place if you want to spend a few days on the water, swimming, canoeing, and hanging out by a beautiful pond. Or on - Swimming in the lovely pond was a definite high point for us! The host, Jean Marc was friendly and accommodating as we drove up from Boston-Logan & had to check in on the later side, & he was kind & helpful. V small room, no available meals.

- Veronica (10/5): Great for a familiy getaway - Amazing, small, and cozy hotel. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The room downstairs had entertainment for families.
- David (8/5): Beautiful scenery and very comfortable and clean. - There were no meals offered because the restaurant and bar were closed due to staffing issues. But the caretaker was very kind and apologies for the inconvenience. There were plenty of places to eat within 20 minutes ride on our motorcycles. I would stay here again just because of how clean everything was and it being on a lake. They even had 2 fire pits and plenty of outdoor seating. Definitely having food and a bar on the property. But all the rooms did have dorm size fridges and a microwave. Along with a coffee pot and a large TV.
- Craig (5/5): Disappointing and not worth the money - Location was pretty Needs updating from fixtures to tv options . Room was musty, doors were hard to open. AC was old. Never saw anyone at the front desk. Should have a continental breakfast.

- Lyndanjohn (7/5): Right by the lake - A quiet location on the shore of the lake. Our room had a view of the lake and a small screened in balcony with seating. There is no food option here ( fridge/freezer and microwave in room) but a local brewery a few minutes drive away served good food. There is a large games room with pool, table tennis and darts, plus plenty of board games.

- Jessica (10/5): A+++ will be returning soon - Everything We were early in the season so there weren’t fans/ac in the room yet. Not a huge deal. But tough sleeping the first night but the second with a fan was lovely.

- Christa (8/5): Beautiful Location & View - Loved the bed, it was very comfortable. Our view of the lake was lovely. I could have listened to the loons forever. Loved the retro heat lamp in the bathroom, and the larger than usual refrigerator. My only complaint was in the shower. The tub was very slippery. Someone could definitely fall in there. I asked for a bath mat, but there wasn't one. A wash cloth ended up keeping us from an accident. Other than this one thing, I was very happy with our room.
