• Nan (3/5): disappointed stay - near ski lift , only 10 mins talk, 5 mins talk to town center paid for 2 triple rooms, but once arrived, only get 2 double rooms, manager refuse to give extra bed in each room, requrie us to pay extra for the 3rd bed...very rude and aggresive. finally provide extra bed in the room, but rooms are desigend for double, very tiny for 3 beds, didnt get triple room that we paid for, avoid.

• licia (8/5): Una vacanza rigenerante - Piccolo hotel molto curato, ubicato appena fuori dalla zona pedonale, comodo anche per una passeggiata lungo la stradina della vecchia ferrovia col comodissimo passaggio sul retro. Il sig Gino e tutto lo staff molto gentile e professionale. Molto comodo il bollitore in camera rifornito giornalmente di te ed infusi. Ottimo anche il parcheggio privato. Unica pecca, la vasca da bagno anziché una più comoda doccia.

I had smoking neighbours and got all the fumes inside my room 2) Sound insulation - I could hear my neighbours talking, caughing etc 3) The bed felt really short in lenght

• Sasha (6/5): OK-ish, but was expecting more based on the description. - Decent, but some improvements are needed. The location is indeed amazing, close to the center. The private parking is a big plus. The room and the bed were not to the expectation. Clean, but small and a bit ancient. Electric outlets were an issue in order to charge phone. The small TV was there, but not really functional.

• Juan (10/5): Estancia de 10. Gran personal y parking - Estancia de 10. El personal fue siempre súper atento, amable y sonriente, dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento. La ubicación es perfecta: a pocos minutos andando del centro, pero lo bastante tranquila para descansar bien. El parking (gratuito y en la misma puerta del hotel) fue un gran plus para nosotros. El desayuno, perfecto y siempre bien atendido. Los colchones muy cómodos y la habitación muy amplia. Sin duda, si volvemos a Cortina, repetiremos en el Hotel Principe.

We were within walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. Great breakfast too! Nothing-all very good!

• Francis (8/5): Very pleasant, quiet location. Well situated near to the centre of Cortina. - Delightful staff, very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, with coffee prepared to order. They also prepared me a an early breakfast on request, as I had to leave the hotel very early one morning for the start of my race (La Sportiva Lavaredo Ultra Trail). Excellent location 500 metres from the Centre Broken washer on wash basin made the cold tap unusable. I reported this on first day, but not fixed during my stay. Bath was unusable due to the plug not closing. I didn't report this. Empty soap dispenser not refilled. No fans in bedroom, which made the room uncomfortably hot.

Free parking (a must have in Cortina) and a lovely location, a bit tucked away, not on the busy street. I had a wonderful room with great mountain views and a balcony. I would stay here again when back in Cortina. Owner and staff were all very friendly also. Breakfast was great with plenty to choose from. Wifi was very choppy and something to improve. All else was just perfect.

• Inga (9/5): Beautiful place - I loved the area.i didn't like how everything closed down in the afternoon,especially the restaurants.i did forget that they do that in italy.it was a beautiful town .I was expecting more snow.this winter the snow was more scarce.i loved the area to walk.the only thing for me,was the bed,and the pillow were too hard.the nice gentleman at the front,went out of his way to help me.i was taking a 6am bus to venice to catch s train.i wanted to call a taxi,to take me to the bus station.they don't start till 10am!!well,it was too far for me to walk ,with my luggage.he was so nice,and drove me there,at5:45 am.,AND waited with me for the bus.i appreciated it so much.i love the location of the hotel.views were beautiful everywhere.thanks again,for the ride.

• Amy (3/5): Breakfast lady VERY RUDE, rooms VERY basic and need a refurb. Not a pleasant stay here for me - The location I didn’t enjoy my stay at this hotel. I am a young female travelling by herself, and the lady that serves breakfast was so rude to me and made me feel uncomfortable whilst having breakfast everyday. This made my stay in this hotel a really negative experience. If it wasn’t for Cortina being really expensive, I would have 100% gone out for breakfast everyday. Also…. - The rooms VERY VERY DATED. - There was an itchy blanket to keep me warm instead of a duvet, someone with sensitive skin this is a nightmare. - Shower was terrible, it was a hose in the bath! I didn’t have 1 good night sleep whilst staying at this hotel, and you would think because I was hiking everyday, I would go straight to sleep! The location for me is the only good thing about this hotel, but if I was to come back to Cortina I wouldn’t come back to this hotel.

• Feyona (8/5): Very good - The location was great, when I got there there was some road work nearby and it made the navigation not work, but when you get there walking into the centre of town is only a few minutes. It has parking on the grounds witch is ideal, the staff is friendly and the breakfast included was very nice. Everything is well maintained and neat it is just old, I liked the vibes of it in the hotel but is is very... grandma's house.

The bathroom was good and clean and seem that was renovated exempt the blow dryer which was old and needs 5 min to heat up the air. The only thing that I was not happy was that I didn’t know that everyday a lady will come and clean the room and we didn’t had anything to put as a sign that we don’t want a cleaner. And our room was messy and the cleaner cleaned up my stuffs and I couldn’t find my things. However the staff were very good and understandable when I couldn’t find a bag of mine which then found it.

Close to the town centre. We loved the traditional feel of the house, the wooden panelling and the two spacious and comfortable living tooms for guests. We liked everything!
